After just two days at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote, I can honestly say this hotel has exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained and in a perfect location. Our room is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, with robes, a fully stocked minibar that’s replenished daily, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The service has been exceptional from every member of staff, but a special mention has to go to Victoria at the pool bar and Ahmed in the sports bar. They are both absolute stars – so friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The food has been excellent throughout our stay so far, with plenty of choice and fantastic quality, and the drinks are equally impressive. Little touches like the readily available pool towels really add to the overall experience. We’re only halfway through our holiday, but we’ve already said we’ll definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote for making our stay so memorable.

Our recent stay at Dreams Lanzarote Resort was nothing short of exceptional, especially considering we were a group of 17 people, all with vegetarian and vegan dietary requirements. From the moment we arrived, the hotel went above and beyond to ensure every single guest was catered for individually. What truly stood out was the level of care taken with our meals. A bespoke menu was created daily, tailored to each person’s specific dietary needs. It’s rare to see such attention to detail on this scale, and every member of our group felt genuinely looked after. The variety, quality, and thoughtfulness of the food made a huge difference to our experience. Beyond dining, the resort itself is fantastic. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped, and everything is maintained to a very high standard. The nearby beach was another highlight—exceptionally clean, with soft sand, minimal stones, and no seaweed in the water. The availability of free sunbeds and umbrellas made it even more enjoyable. The guest relations team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always responsive and accommodating. A special thank you goes to Cesar from guest relations for his outstanding support with food planning and recommendations, Laura at Himitsu restaurant, and Beatriz at the buffet. Their warmth, sense of humour, attention to detail, and willingness to help made our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend Dreams Lanzarote Resort to anyone, especially groups with specific dietary needs. The level of service and care we experienced was truly outstanding.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing following our recent 11-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada to share some feedback after what was a very enjoyable and memorable holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Rico (Richie) in particular stood out—his friendly approach and the glass of sparkling wine on arrival were a lovely touch and really set the tone for the stay. We were also very grateful that your team accommodated our request to move rooms for a better sea view. The move the following day was handled smoothly and made a real difference to our overall experience. The hotel itself is excellent—beautifully maintained, with a great atmosphere and fantastic facilities. We especially enjoyed the pool areas and the overall feel of the hotel throughout our stay. A special mention must go to your restaurant teams. The standard of service—from the warm welcome to the attentiveness of the waiting staff and the professionalism of the chefs—was consistently excellent and really added to the quality of our stay, We must not forget the Housekeeping Team, again very professional. There are just a couple of small areas where we felt there is room for improvement. We found the black sunbeds around the pool areas to be a little uncomfortable over longer periods. We did appreciate that a courtesy room that was arranged for us, along with secure luggage storage, which was helpful. I would particularly like to recognise Cesar Aspiazu in the Guest Experience team, who was excellent. He was professional, approachable, and very helpful. We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. Only a few positives to this hotel to report sadly, otherwise highly disappointed. It does have a great seafront / promenade location, it has heated pools, and a soft play/ outdoor play area for children which were good. Aside from this, our experience was very negative and we were extremely disappointed. It is not a 5 star hotel and the service you would expect. We were staying as a young family with a 15 month old. Firstly, food quality at buffet was very poor, husband got food poisoning. There were only two al a carte restaurants open each night, and there were long queues for these both each night. Single bar that was open also had long queues and waits. Staff weren’t very friendly in general and did not seem too bothered by these waits, seemed to be the norm/ accepted this was the case. We went to barefoot grill for lunch and realised as we sat down that our daughter was ill, we asked if we could take the food to our room. We were told no, and that we must order room service. Ordered room service, told 40 mins, but food and water for baby took almost 2 hours to arrive. This was absolutely outrageous. Seems to be that hotel is catered around staff rather than customers. E.g., you could only use pool bar outside to get a drink even if it was raining. If you are not preferred club, you can only use al a carte lunch restaurant between 3-5pm. There is a segregation between unlimited customers and preferred club members, different breakfast buffets. Absolutely zero sound proofing in rooms, can hear everything upstairs, next door and outside. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels, this was by far from a 5 star. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone or stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Resort and our first visit to Lanzarote. The staff were lovely, friendly, and accommodating. I knew we were going to have a good stay at the Grand Hyatt when our luggage was taken from the transfer bus. Monika on reception greeted us with kindness, especially as we had a late flight and arrived at the hotel very late. Monika offered us a complimentary drink and informed us that some food was waiting for us, even though the restaurant had already closed. Monika gave us a map of the island and told us about the facilities the hotel had to offer. (We took full advantage of the Spa - a special shout-out to Martina on the Spa reception, who was patient with us and organised all of our treatments with the lovely and professional staff. The spa facilities are amazing! The only thing missing was the offering of pedicures and manicures!) Monika also arranged for our luggage to be collected on the day of departure so that we could enjoy breakfast before leaving. Kelly in the Nao Restaurant, who checked our cards and showed us to our seats, was especially kind and even sent a gift of fruit and Cava to our room. It was a wonderful surprise and such a thoughtful thing to do, especially as we were holidaying in Lanzarote to celebrate our mum's 60th birthday! The Nao Restaurant was a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, among the other places around the resort where you could enjoy something to eat. My family especially enjoyed breakfast there. Your dietary requirements are asked about upon arrival, and the staff will accommodate them wherever they can. When dining in the restaurants, there are food labels, which are provided in both English and Spanish. If you are unsure about any dish, simply ask a member of staff—they will always be happy to explain what the dish is. The Aira bar staff were also very friendly and always attentive, especially the señor who always brought us our usual "quatro aguas" and made my sisters' non-alcoholic mojitos. Whenever we needed anything, we could either call reception or use the hotel's app, and our requests were dealt with promptly, whether it was an iron and ironing board or a cleaning service. The room we stayed in was maintained very well, and the mini fridge was restocked daily. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as it was a wonderful introduction to the island of Lanzarote and all the wonderful activities it has to offer. The hotel has a back gate that provides easy access to the beach, shops, and activities such as paragliding, which my sisters took full advantage of. You can also book excursions directly through the resort itself or through a holiday representative such as TUI or Jet2holidays, making it easy to explore more of the island. We would definitely stay at this resort again and hopefully visit Lanzarote soon.
