Our first time here and we loved it at the H10 Rubicon. With Art Deco vibes this Beautiful, spacious hotel is in a great location, really close to playa blanca. We visited in November, so the hotel was pretty chilled. We enjoyed the tranquility and facilities when we visited and found the staff to be very friendly and hard working. Food was good, some of the restaurants were better than others however we didn't sample them all. We enjoyed an all inclusive experience, especially the selection of top shelf beverages and cocktails on offer throughout the day with plenty of opportunities to eat. The buffet restaurant was good with a variety of different options on offer each day. We particularly enjoyed the fresh prawns and canaryian dishes. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the bistro which had some tasty interesting snacks on offer. Entertainment varied, the piano bar has a very chilled classic vibe while the disco bar was a little more lively with some great signing acts on different nights throughout our holiday. If you are after more chilled, relaxed vibes on holiday then I definitely recommend the rubicon and playa blanca in November for some winter sun.

We stayed for a 6 days from 30/11/25. The check in was very slow, it took an hour. That wasn't very good after a long day of traveling. Checked in finally. The room we had was 4073, which wasn't the greatest. Our outside view was looking directly at the people sat at the Bistro. Which ment we couldn't sit outside due to being stared at all of the time. Someone was chain smoking all of the time. We couldn't leave our door open because our room would stink of cigarettes. The room was very date with mould in places. We asked for a iron and ironing board. When they arrived the iron leaked water everywhere as it was broken and the board was the smallest one I've ever seen. We did get another iron. On the plus side the cleaners were amazing. Kept our room clean every day, with the bed being made and clean towels when needed. The buffet meals was ok-someone people who were staying at the hotel were rude, but hey that's to be expected. The hotel is very far from Playa Blanca's main town. But we enjoyed the walk. I don't think I would stay here again. Which is a shame because this was our 25th wedding anniversary holiday.

The hotel is wonderful. I spent four days there with friends and family, enjoying all the hotel's amenities. We did aquagym with David, who was great fun and very friendly. The tranquility, the service, the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness were all excellent. The sea views are well worth the extra cost.

My experience at this so-called 5-star hotel was genuinely devastating. Basic standards were not met from the start. I reported serious cleanliness issues, yet after being told “housekeeping already came,” no one ever entered the room—confirmed because my friend was inside the entire time. When they finally moved me to another room late at night, it also had visible stains and a broken towel rail. Completely unacceptable. Food and allergen communication was equally troubling. I am lactose intolerant, yet staff repeatedly gave unclear answers about ingredients, simply saying “leche,” and I was even served cow milk after requesting almond milk. This is not just poor service—it’s unsafe. What made everything worse was management’s response, which included incorrect claims that did not match what actually happened. Even my salutation was wrong in their official email despite having my passport. The lack of accountability and accuracy was shocking. For a hotel that advertises itself as 5-star, this was one of the most disappointing and stressful stays I’ve ever had. Housekeeping, communication, allergen awareness, and management oversight all need urgent improvement.

Stayed here a week as half board and enjoyed! Overall quite good, a few things let it down but had a enjoyable relaxing stay! Rooms - very good and the level of cleaning from the cleaning teams was amazing. 10/10 Pool/pool bar- great there were always some sun beds available and there were some quieter spots that we love. We went the main pool and great options In the bar. 10/10 Food - generally very good, we didn't like some of the dishes as they were quite tasteless. The restaurants options are a clever way to break up going to the buffet although we found that some of the items we ordered were also available at the buffet! Our favorite one was the Oriental restaurant! 8/10 Piano bar - I was working for some time and the piano bar was a fantastic place to work, clean quite and open. In the evening a great place for drinks and light entertainment just need more seats!!! 8/10 Birds - very nice big aviary for the parrots 🦜!
