From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the hotel, the staff and rooms. We were a large group of 10 staying in the swim up garden rooms. This hotel sets the bar for any holiday we will go on again. The food in every restaurant & buffet was excellent. The standard of the apartments were sharp & high quality. Though the staff were the standout; positive, bright-faced, welcoming and responsive. They are a tight bunch of professionals! The only draw back that we could think of was although the weather was excellent the wind created waves that meant the beach couldn't be used.... such a shame. Though really it did not detract from an amazing holiday.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Grecotel LUXME White. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome with refreshing cold towels and drinks, and the excellent service continued throughout our visit. Our sea-view suite had a beautiful view, was kept spotlessly clean, and included a minibar that was replenished daily. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job, providing fresh towels and maintaining the room to a very high standard. The food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was consistently excellent - I especially love the tzatziki! The restaurant staff were attentive and welcoming, particularly the smartly dressed gentleman (Yannis) who greeted us, found us a lovely table, and always made sure we were enjoying our meals. We also enjoyed the beautiful beach, the clean pool area, and the attentive beach-bar service. The lady who took drink orders from our sun loungers was always lovely and polite. Any questions we sent through WhatsApp received prompt and helpful responses. This was our fourth Grecotel holiday as a couple, following stays at LUXME Kos, LUXME Dama Dama, and Eva Palace. Grecotel’s high-quality food, beautiful beachfront locations, and exceptional staff keep us coming back. Thank you to the entire team for another memorable stay - we look forward to our next Grecotel holiday!

The best hotel I’ve ever visited - giving us (a family of three) the best holiday we’ve ever had. Do NOT hesitate to come here, we had the most perfect stay. We stayed for a week in a swim up family room, the room was beautiful and having our own pool was amazing. The people who work at this hotel go above & beyond to ensure you have the most perfect stay, they truly are beautiful people who give you the most luxury service. A special shout out to Virginia on reception who was just perfect and another shout out to Marina (in the buffet restaurant) who treated us like we was family. That doesn’t go without saying everyone else at the hotel even down to the cleaners and gardeners were perfect but I can’t remember all the names!😂🤦🏻‍♂️ The food in all the restaurants was unreal, the drinks were lovely, the service was perfect. The pool is beautiful & so is the beach. Book your holiday to here if you’re looking for somewhere to stay, you will have the time of your life. The kids clubs and activities was great for our 5 year old too. The sunset terrace is beautiful to sit on and relax with a nice drink when the suns going down. We will be back at this hotel for sure & we will most certainly visit other Grecotel hotels as well. This is by far the best hotel on the beautiful island of Crete. If I could rate 10* I would!
Nomad
GRECOTEL was great and we really enjoyed our stay. However, there are few things that we didn’t know going into the experience. The sunsets and view from the rooftop were immaculate, and the pool was great. Like many other places you should try get in early to reserve a sun bed near the main pool. We enjoyed breakfast at the Asian restaurant particularly (only available Monday, Wednesday and Friday for breakfast), the buffet was also nice. The white restaurant and farm expedition were our favourite dinners (see seperate review on farm). One thing we didn’t know was you had to book the à la carte restaurants in advance as they are booked out. We didn’t know this but the staff tried their best to accommodate when we got there. Some more clear signposting at the time of booking regarding resteraunt bookings will be helpful. GRECOTEL is one of the better resorts on the island of Crete. The hotel is in a great location and the property itself looks nice at first glance. However, several key aspects are far below what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. There is no valet or parking service — guests are simply told to park their own cars, which is very unusual for this category. The rooms are closer to a 2-star standard. The furniture is old, storage is minimal (basically one small wardrobe with a few drawers and hangers for an entire family), so we had to keep our clothes in suitcases and on chairs for the entire week. The bathroom has no ventilation, and the window is blocked with bricks, which makes it uncomfortable to use. Overall, the accommodation level is a disappointment and not aligned with the price or the rating. Food is decent, but again not at a 5-star level. On the positive side, the lobby and pool areas are very nice. Pool service is good, and the childcare staff are excellent and genuinely helpful. The only real downside in service is the entertainment manager, who comes across as overly aggressive and quite unpleasant. In summary: great location and some strong facilities, but the rooms and overall service standard do not justify a 5-star rating or the price.
