We stayed here for four days in February 2026. The location was perfect, close to the shops, bars, and beach was a 10 minute walk. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The sky bar was closed until March 2026 just fyi. The rooms were big and spacious, the balcony was lovely. Our air con didn’t work and we found the room to be quite dusty and dirty(8th floor) Overall, a great stay. Would recommend.

We stayed in mid may and had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing, especially the cleaning staff. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean. The balcony is a tad small but very useable. Pool area clean and inviting. With a stylish pool bar. Bar food is reasonably priced. The hotel it's self is in a perfect spot to visit restaurants and shops. Small shop next door for any bits you have forgotten. And I can't forget the view from the sky bar. Thank you to all at hotel Costa Málaga. We will be back

I've just come back from a week at this hotel, firstly the staff were very pleasent and attentive, they couldn't do enough for you. We did breakfast only and there was always a lot of choice each morning. The sky bar was lovely at night time but would have been nice to maybe have a bit of live music one or two evenings. The pool was ok, the area was shaded which was great for me but if you like to lie in the sun all day you did need to move around quite a bit. I found my room small, I was sharing with a friend and we just didn't have enough space for our things really...no shelf in bathroom and no drawers to put things away, also the hair dryer cut out after a few a few minutes use and you have to pay €21 a week to use the safe. The location was ok if you like to go out for a walk. Make sure to take walking shoes with you! I did contact the hotel yesterday morning after leaving as I had left something in the room but I've not had a response yet.

Staying here, even though it says its smokefree there are ashtrays everywhere and people even smokes where food is served. I thought Spain have laws against it. Choosed the hotel for smokefree alternative, dont like smoke while eating or at pool area. To bad, otherwise rating would be better. But there is no place to escape people smoking since they seama to allow it. Ill be requesting an hoja de reclamacion. Edit: even after managers respond, and us staying, the ashtrays remains and people are smoking everywhere. Lowering service rate to 1. Cause its just talk from their side. Even everyday following our 10 day stay it was the same. There is a gym, but its very dirty floors in there and it smells of dust, pity since its a good gym with most things wanted. The balcony was pretty unusable during time those in room beside us were smoking canabis every evening

Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve had through out my years. Room and location was nice but got disturbed three nights by a u18 girls football team 2am in the middle of the night. We complained to hotel staff but didn’t get much help there. From my understanding, this hotel is supposed to be an adult only hotel which definitely did not apply. We’re some pretty weird people living in the hotel as well. We saw multiple one night stands which looked like they brought home junkies with white powder up their noses. Overall pretty disappointed in our stay.
