Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay

We have just returned from a week at Taghazout bay. The hotel is in a fairly isolated location with very little surrounding it. You will need to use their free shuttle service or taxis to enjoy the surrounding towns. The hotel staff are exceptional. So friendly and can’t do enough for you to make your stay memorable. We had a few small issues with our room on arrival and the next morning we were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of the pool area and sea. The hotel itself was very clean and well looked after. The breakfast on offer had something for everyone from a local inspired cooked breakfast to fresh fruits, yoghurts, breads and pastries. Not forgetting the delightful msemen best enjoyed with honey, chocolate spread and local almond butter. Thank you to everyone there for making our stay memorable.

We stayed in Hyatt place for 6 nights the first 3 nights the room was ok but on the 3rd night we noticed insects all in our room and we asked to be moved. The 2nd room they gave us we were unable to use the balcony due to the stench that is there on the balcony. The reception staff are abit lazy in regards to answering the phone when calling them 3 days in a row I asked for a ashtray and they never bought it up once I even had to go down stairs to ask for it and was told I can go to my room and they’ll bring it up 20min later they bought up hangers….. Apart from the fact they reception don’t like to answer the phone (this applys for the night staff as day staff do answer quicker but they also have the issue of not giving what you actually asked for) but overall the staff are very friendly. The excursions guy probably is the most helpful and nicest person in the hotel anytime we needed a taxi or anything we simply sent him a message and he would arrange it for us within 10-20min no matter where we were. In regards to food if I could I would give it a minus rating. From the tuck shop (which is a rip off). the actual restaurants at the hotel has a very limited menu and we found that all food in the hotel lacks flavour and isn’t the best. The buffet food while there are a lot of options all the option lack any flavour and they charge you around £26 per person if your not all inclusive, the room service food for some reason you are unable to substitute items and that is also very bland from the steak to the burgers for the room service all lacked any flavour. Overall the hotel facility’s are pretty good and can’t be faulted, staff are good and very friendly however do take there time to answer (if they decide to answer). The food is honestly the biggest down fall for this place and due to its location it’s very inconvenient and adds up to go into agadir for food. So if food is a important thing for you a hotel in agadir may be a better option as if you dnt like the food you can always go into agadir marina and get amazing food from there.

I had a really great stay here. The location might be a concern for some, but as someone who enjoys walking in Taghazout Bay it wasn't a problem for me. The rooms are high standard and cleaned extremely well. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool area is fantastic. I opted for an Ocean View room and view over Taghazout was incredible.

Great hotel, we had such a wonderful time here. Wish we could have stayed longer. The location and facilities were great but most of all the staff, they're all very kind and helpful. Don't want to forget about the housekeeper Ilhame, the room was super clean and she was very attentive. We had breakfast and dinner here, very delicious and a large variety of options. Thank you!

It's a beautiful thing to see such a well oiled machine like this in operation. The location and facilities are obviously superb but it's the staff that gives this place the spark - every interaction was professional and polite, clearly well managed. Mustapha (our waiter) went above and beyond to show us the true hospitality of Morocco and helped ensure we had a great time during our stay. I can't thank you enough. Shout out to the unsung heroes of maintenance too for fixing a small problem with the sink that I didn't even report, and the cleaning staff for noticing. Amazing work everyone, i highly recommend this place.
