This January I had a chance to visit the wonderful place on the bank of the ocean named Taghazout. The area of the hotel is very nice, the location is right next to the ocean. Breakfasts are delicious, very good choice of dishes. The only minus I would like to mention is that in my room the shower was not working well, which forced me to change the room in the middle of the night. However, this minus was immediately forgotten due to the very helpful and supportive staff member, Mr. Khalil, who is working on reception. He helped me to buy the tickets on the train and did his best to resolve my issues related to the ticket obtaining. I travel a lot around the world but it is not common to see such employees. I am afraid he was even late for his trip home in evening while helping me. I am sure that such employees like Mr Khalil deserve bonus and promotion. I wish him all the best in his career.

The Hyatt Regency Taghazout is a very beautiful and well-designed resort, perfectly located along the coast. The property features a modern architectural style and is especially well-suited for families with children. The beachfront promenade is stunning and ideal for walking or jogging, offering great views of the ocean. The hotel also provides access to a private beach, adding to the exclusivity and comfort of the stay. The entire resort is very green and well-maintained, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the fitness facilities are of high quality, making it a great choice for guests who want to stay active during their stay. The organization of the staff is a major issue. It is very noticeable that the team is not properly trained—there are many employees, but no one really seems to know their responsibilities. Upon arrival, we received almost no guidance during check-in: no clear information about breakfast hours or which restaurants were available. We were also told that no reservation was needed for the restaurants, but once there, we were informed that reservations were absolutely required. The waiting times for food were catastrophic. Again, there was a lot of staff, but very poor organization: several employees gathered around one table while other tables were left unattended. The level of service clearly does not match that of a 5-star hotel, but rather a 3-star standard. Management definitely needs to improve staff organization and training.

We booked this hotel as a family trip, and it felt the most modern and safe option in the area. Our stay was brilliant, and our room was excellent. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, with lots of sweet treats and fresh eggs. We had direct access to the beach, and the security was everywhere. It was an incredible stay. My only criticisms were the food and drink prices, which were the same in Europe but the quality was not. The staff was friendly, but the pool staff could have been slightly more helpful. On our first day, we struggled to find a sunbed and asked the pool side staff for help, but they weren’t bothered. There’s a lot of Construction going on in the area. I can’t wait to come back in the future.

I had a great experience with Ihab at reception. He is very professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. His communication skills, attention to detail, and positive attitude make guests feel comfortable from the first moment. He handles every situation calmly and professionally. Ihab is definitely an excellent receptionist and a valuable part of any hotel team

If you want to go on holiday and truly relax, this is the place to do it. The beds are incredibly comfortable and absolutely huge. Each evening we’d put the kids to bed and sit on the balcony reading our books while listening to the live music from the restaurant (it finished by 10pm). Hearing the waves and soaking up the atmosphere felt like pure escapism. The food was delicious, the pool was lovely and warm in February, and the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice for everyone. A few things others have mentioned we actually quite enjoyed. The service is slower than you might be used to in somewhere like London, but we’re in Morocco and things move at a more relaxed pace. I’d say just lean into it and enjoy the change of pace. I travelled with my husband and our two sons (7 and 11). They absolutely loved how close the beach was for surfing in the afternoons. It’s also a lovely 25-minute walk into Taghazout along a beautiful coastal path, where there are lots of great places to eat and explore. You can get bikes and cycle around plus you ahire boards from the beach further along for much cheaper than at the hotel. Honestly, I can’t think of a more relaxing holiday we’ve had since having children and we travel a lot. I really don’t think you could beat it. Just book it, you won’t regret it 😊 The only thing I’d mention for future consideration would be that was there only one chair on our balcony. Couldn’t work out for the life of me why you would only put one chair on there. (We did call for another on but it never arrived so I stole one from the pool bar 😏)
