This hotel can be absolutely amazing, but there are a few things you should know before booking. The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the view. We stayed in a Sea View room on the 4th floor, and the view from the balcony was simply stunning. Waking up and seeing the ocean every morning never got old. If you’re planning to stay here, I highly recommend paying extra for a Sea View room, ideally on the 4th floor. In my opinion, rooms facing the road could completely change your experience and might even ruin your vacation. The hotel itself is very beautiful. The grounds are full of tropical plants and are extremely well maintained. The beach is gorgeous, exactly what you imagine when you think of a tropical island getaway. The pool is also fantastic, with an incredible view overlooking the sea. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was cleaned very well every day, and it always smelled fresh and pleasant when we came back. Breakfast is not huge or luxurious, but everything we tried was tasty. Most of the options are Thai dishes, which we actually enjoyed. Now for the downsides. The location can be a problem if you’re not prepared. The hotel sits right next to a high-speed road, and despite what it may look like on the map, walking anywhere is basically not an option. Even if you think you’ll be able to walk to nearby places, you probably won’t. Because of that, I would only stay here if you’re renting a scooter or are comfortable taking taxis everywhere. Transportation on Koh Samui is not cheap, and taxi costs can add up quickly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the incredible sea view, beautiful beach, great pool, and lovely hotel grounds. Just make sure you book a Sea View room and think about transportation before you arrive. Those two things can make the difference between an amazing vacation and a disappointing one.

Beautiful beach with delicious breakfast. I experienced a room with a flickering light and instead of telling me to get over it, they were great and moved me to a better room. Very good service! The manager, Kita, was very helpful. I'm not sure if that's how you spell her name, but she was so understanding and patient. Recommend!!

Excellent service the staff here go all out to ensure you enjoy your holiday. We had villa 504 right next to the beach. Although a little dated it had everything we needed Inc iron and board. A few more clothes hangers would have helped but this seems to be an issue at most hotels. The staff, service and food are what really makes this hotel, to name but a few: Reception: James & Vive who were on hand for any questions we had. Restaurant & bar: Mas the master chef, who delighted us with so many delicious dishes and taster's, we certainly came home a little heavier than we arrived ☺️ serving these delights were amongst others, Saow, Apple, Kao, and Kai, we only wish we could remember everyone as they all made our stay so memorable. We found the food at the hotel unbeatable, and the generous happy hours were a real treat. Unfortunately some guests thought it ok to take food and drink bought outside the hotel into the restaurant, then ask for plates, ice ext, let me say to all nationalities, this is totally unacceptable, rude and to be honest offensive, these people work hard to offer you affordable food and drink, don't take the pixx. Likewise the massage ladies on the beach offer an exceptional service for a more than decent price, don't be rude and try and barter them down, they are worth the cost and more. The beach is stunning and if you go just to the left by the rocks you can see several fish. Even though there were enough beds, I would say a lot were in need of repairs and given how heavy they were were not moved regularly to clean the beach, the cushions were also bulky and I imagine difficult to store so when the got wet after several storms, they were then unusable until they dried. I only say this as I was told they are having a refurb in September, so I'm sure these niggles can be addressed. We got the little bus (red truck) into Chaweng wait on the opposite side from the hotel stick your hand out and confirm the price with the driver before you go it cost us around 300 baht for 2 each way, there are 2 main stops in Chaweng shopping or beach, the drivers are really good and understand most requests. Chaweng has all the shopping and nightlife you need, but the Impiana resort has all the rest and relaxation to offset Chaweng, so you really do have the best of both worlds.

Exceptional stay! The true heart of this resort is the staff. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hotel is located right on a stunning beachfront with crystal-clear turquoise water. The grounds are beautifully green and peaceful, offering a calm escape away from the busy city center. The real highlight, however, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, supportive, and always smiling especially the chef Mas at the restaurant and the lovely lady Vive at reception. They truly made our stay special. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Impiana. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and inviting, perfect for both short getaways and longer vacations. The staff was consistently friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free stay. I would especially like to highlight Sun at the reception. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and took the time to answer all my questions with patience and a genuine smile. Sun went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, whether it was assisting with check-in, giving recommendations, or helping with any requests. Her positive attitude and excellent service truly made a difference in my experience. Thank you, Sun!
