We had an amazing two-week stay at JW Marriott Phuket, and the biggest reason was the incredible staff. Every single person we met was genuinely kind, welcoming, and truly cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. A special thank you to the dining team, especially Rachen and Ladda, for their outstanding service. We'd also like to recognize the amazing pool staff—Jai, Lert, Nay, Bee, and Bow. They went above and beyond every day to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their friendly personalities and excellent service made our pool days even more enjoyable. They all deserve a promotion! A heartfelt thank you as well to the housekeeping team, especially Ratha, for keeping our room spotless and making us feel so well taken care of throughout our stay. Most importantly, they made our son feel so welcome and ensured he had the best time during our vacation. Seeing how much he enjoyed himself made the trip even more special. Spending two weeks here gave us the chance to get to know many of the staff, and they truly made us feel like family. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable—we can't wait to come back!

Loved practically everything about our 5 day stay here. Loads of food options, lovely pools, incredibly easy access to the pristine beach, friendly staff, great services. The only little downsides were the repairs around the wellness area which made access to the gym and spa a little difficult, and the insane number of lizards of all shapes and sizes which might be a problem if they creep you out. Also, the entire area is super quiet with no nightlife to speak of, which may or may not be your cup of tea (it most certainly was ours).

Pure Magic in Mai Khao – A 5-Star Haven Driven by Extraordinary People We recently spent a 5-night family babymoon at the Marriott Phuket Beach which is on the same compound and grounds as JW Marriott Phuket, and it truly captured our hearts. If you are looking for a complete cognitive reset where you can totally disconnect from the daily routine and find pure peace, this resort is the absolute gold standard. ​The grounds and setting are breathtakingly beautiful. Walking through the lush, perfectly manicured tropical greenery every day felt like living in a private sanctuary. It is an incredibly grounding environment that brings an instant sense of calm. ​The culinary experiences here are world-class. From the vibrant, authentic local flavors at Ginja Taste and cozy Italian comfort food at Cucina, to the spectacular breakfast buffet every morning—which my wife absolutely adored—the food was flawless. Every meal was a highlight. ​However, what elevates this resort from excellent to genuinely unforgettable is the people. The staff and hospitality teams embody the true, warm heart of Thailand. Every interaction was filled with genuine kindness, attentiveness, and care. They didn’t just serve us; they looked after our family with a level of hospitality that made us feel completely at home.

As a Marriott Titanium Elite member who has stayed at many Marriott hotels and resorts with Marriot group, I am extremely disappointed by my experience at JW Marriott Phuket. The most shocking issue was the condition of the towels provided in the bathroom. They were extremely dirty, black spot everywhere, ages and grey color, old that I only realized the condition of the towel was so unacceptable after using on my kid. I looked like a dirty floor mat to me. I was very surprised they provide this standard of towel in a 5 stars hotel. It was honestly horrified. This is simply not the standard one would expect from a JW Marriott property. I immediately reported the issue via app to the hotel, and requested someone come and inspect the towel. I also escalated the matter to the duty manager. Unfortunately, despite their very official responses via app, nobody ever came to review the issue or follow up properly. The lack of action was even more disappointing than the towel itself. In addition, the beach towels were also old and heavily worn. Around the pool area, we were surprised to learn that many of the lounge beds required additional payment and were not available for hotel guests to use freely. This was unexpected and unlike the experience I have had at other Marriott resorts. I’m not sure if it’s true or just the staff been too lazy to settle the bed for us. Considering the room rate and the JW Marriott brand promise, I feel the value received was far below expectations. From the condition of the towels to the handling of guest concerns and the pool facilities, the overall experience did not reflect the level of service associated with the JW Marriott name.Further more, they have staff at the lobby promoting marriot vacation club aggressively…. Among all the Marriott properties I have visited, this is unfortunately one of the most disappointing experiences I have encountered. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously and improves both the product quality and guest service standards.

Everything was excellent from the beginning until check out. The resort is beautiful, the room was spacious and with so many amenities. The room service through the app was fast and easy to order. And the multiple swimming pools were very spacious and relaxing. As well the fact that the resort provides complimentary shuttle to the nearest mall (Turtle Village) is a nice detail. The resort’s restaurants were very nice, we had the pleasure of dining at Cucina, Siam Deli and Sala Sawasdee Loby Bar. Regarding the concierge day excursions, we booked all the trips with Miss Sopa at the lobby, every single trip we chose (Seanery Phi Phi island Tour, Diving at Racha Island and the Twilight Cruise to James Bond Island) were excellent and so complete (with hotel pickup and meals included). All the staff at the resort were very welcoming, caring and with an incredible eye for detail. We would like to thank specially Cholly from front desk and Sopa from the tour concierge, their performance was exceptional, caring about us throughout our stay, such lovely and professional woman, they made our stay feel even more personalized.
