A world of enchanting beauty and pure tropical bliss awaits on the shores of Zanzibar at the 5-star Kwanza Resort. Overlooking the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, this serene getaway has everything you need for a holiday to remember in paradise. Unforgettable Birthday Stay – Beautiful Resort & World-Class Staff! Our stay at Kwanza Resort was absolutely magical from start to finish! The property itself is incredibly beautiful, pristine, and offers the perfect setting to relax and unwind. What truly makes this resort a 5-star experience, however, is the staff. They are some of the warmest, most helpful, and amazing people we have ever met. It was my birthday during our stay, and the entire team went completely above and beyond to make me feel extra special and celebrated every single day. We want to send a massive, personal thank you to the incredible team who looked after us so beautifully: Elias, Clever, Monica, Abdul, Said, Jasmin, and Shaa – thank you for your exceptional warmth, attentiveness, and flawless service. Dj Isaya – for bringing the perfect vibe to our celebrations and a huge thank you for playing my favourite song on my birthday! Security Ivan – for making us feel incredibly safe, secure, and looked after. Gerald and Andrew – for your kindness and outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. It was our first time in Zanzibar and after our stay in Kwanza we will definitely be returning to the resort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The entertainment was chilled in the evenings and during the day there were opportunities to do yoga, play beach volleyball, Isaya even took us for a run around the resort in the morning when asked! We had the all inclusive package, the bar staff would regularly come round and take drink orders at the main pool and the sunset pool, which was a great touch. The buffet was nice and varied, we also tried the restaurants, the Sushi was great and you could order as much as you want, however aside from that the main buffet restaurant was what stood out. We booked excursions through the resort when we arrived, as we were more comfortable having everything sorted in house, the prices were okay and the days we had were fantastic (We did Safari Blu and Jozani Forest). The spa was very nice, we booked a package treatment that was fairly priced and very relaxing. The ONLY complaint, if I had to make one, would be the shower in the room wasn't fully hot, but there were barely any times that we would need a hot shower as it was so hot outside. Other than that the cleaners came more than once a day and the room was always left in great condition. Cannot recommend enough!

This resort is awasame. The venue is a dream on earth. The staff members are very welcoming and professional. We appreciate a lot Miss Elisabeth who seved us. She was so much caring. My family and I look forward to coming back.

The hotel is simply perfect, with an impressive range of amenities, activities, and games to keep guests entertained. The staff are incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. The only area that needs improvement is the buggy service. The hotel should consider increasing the number of buggies or making the service more responsive. Guests should ideally not have to wait more than 15 minutes to be picked up, especially when moving around the property. Another small improvement would be to have more irons available in the hotel. I was called by reception at 6:00 a.m. to ask if they could come and collect the iron from my room. While I understand the need to manage the limited supply, calling guests that early is quite inconvenient and could easily be avoided by having more irons available. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and genuinely wonderful staff. With a few improvements to the buggy service and in-room amenities, the guest experience would be even better.
