5/5 Experience in Zanzibar! Our 3-night honeymoon at Lux Marijani was absolutely unforgettable. The property is stunning, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible team who made every moment feel special. Grace & Anne (and all the team) at the front desk were so kind and thoughtful, surprising us with little touches that made us feel celebrated throughout our stay. Godlisten at the bar brought great energy, delicious cocktails, and made watching the match so much fun. Abu & Abdul gave us an amazing time with water activities, while Clementina made every morning brighter with her warm smile and excellent service. The spa experience with Lilian, Eliza, and Judith was pure bliss—highly professional and deeply relaxing. We also appreciated the resort manager taking the time to personally check in on us, what a great leader she is! Everything about our stay felt personal, warm, and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon destination and would highly recommend Lux Marijani for any special occasion. We can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort in Zanzibar. The sunrise and sunset views were absolutely breathtaking and made every day feel special. The rooms were fantastic… very spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was also excellent with a great variety of delicious meals throughout our stay. What stood out most was how family friendly the resort is. The atmosphere was relaxing, welcoming, and perfect! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Zanzibar, especially adult families looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Exceptional service, beautiful resort and fantastic food We had a wonderful stay at LUX* Marijani and would highly recommend it. The biggest highlight of this resort is the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. They genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had the best possible experience. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh, varied and of high quality. There were plenty of healthy options available, which we really appreciated. The staff regularly checked if everything was to our liking and whether we wanted to order anything. You truly do not have to worry about anything during your stay. We stayed on an all-inclusive package and were impressed by all the extra touches. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, the minibar was replenished, and we even received small cakes delivered to our room. During lunch, guests are given refreshing ice-cold towels, and on the beach staff even offer to clean your sunglasses. These small details really make the resort stand out. The cleanliness throughout the property was exceptional. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We did not see a single stain, dirty area or neglected corner during our stay. There are only two areas where we think improvements could be made. The first concerns the tipping system. At reception we noticed a tip box and asked how tipping worked, whether tips were shared among the staff or could be given individually. Unfortunately, this was not explained very clearly. In addition, at lunch and dinner we received a bill showing a balance of $0 because we were all-inclusive guests, but there was still a line where we could add a tip. The staff never pressured us or asked for tips, but it felt slightly uncomfortable to be presented with this option after every meal. We saw that other all inclusive guests didn't understood it eather. In our opinion, it would be better to rely on the tip box or allow guests to tip staff members personally if they wish. One of the reasons people choose all-inclusive is to avoid thinking about additional expenses throughout their holiday. The second point is related to the beach vendors. The hotel has security staff and a designated area where vendors are not allowed to approach guests. Around the sunbeds this worked very well and we could relax in peace. However, as soon as we walked closer to the water, multiple vendors would approach us and sometimes call out from the beach. The overall picture when you look at the beach just isn't that pretty with all the vendors looking at you. They were never rude or aggressive, but after politely saying "no thank you" several times, they often continued trying to sell tours or souvenirs. We understand they are trying to make a living, but it can take away from the peaceful atmosphere that many guests are looking for. Overall, this was an amazing stay. The service, cleanliness, food quality and attention to detail were outstanding. We would happily return and would recommend LUX* Marijani to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

Just returned back from a week in Lux Marijani and it feels like waking up from a pleasant dream. Amazing location, beautiful hotel, amazing staff and local people, gorgeous beach, great food, perfect for families with small children and also quite and peaceful... Visited the local village, and had a guided tour of beach to spot the sea creatures. There are many more activities that you can try but we took it easy. Evening entertainment was great too. Open air cinema on the beach was a highlight.

Lux Marijani exceeded every expectation — stunning luxury grounds with the best sea views in Zanzibar (see pica) The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive from check-in to departure. Rooms felt elegant and comfortable with thoughtful amenities and flawless housekeeping. Service was consistently exceptional; small requests were handled promptly and with a smile.Last day we washed some cloth and and tried to dry outside but no sun, they kindly proposed to use their machine free of charge Dining :tasty dishes, great variety, and very reasonable prices. They offer reliable gluten-free options, making breakfast / dining stress-free for our family. I loved the fruit bar and on demand crepes for breakfast Pool and beachfront areas are pristine and perfect for relaxation or family time. Great value for a luxury stay, we’ll definitely return on our next Zanzibar trip!
