Our stay at Riu Palace was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and valued, and were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our experience even more special. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The management team deserves special recognition for ensuring that every aspect of the resort operates seamlessly and that guests receive outstanding service. The entertainment was fantastic, with something for everyone to enjoy both during the day and in the evenings. What truly sets Riu Palace apart is that it is an all-in-one resort offering incredible facilities, excellent dining options, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxed atmosphere. This was truly a memorable holiday, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious, stress-free getaway with exceptional service and world-class amenities.

A truly wonderful hotel with an incredible atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive — you really feel cared for from the moment you arrive. The food was absolutely delicious, with great variety and beautifully prepared meals every day. Everything felt high quality and thoughtfully done. Our flight was delayed so we arrived at night. They supported us with the rooms we requested as we were there to celebrate my husbands 70th Birthday. In all we had a great time. The food, service, cleanliness of the resort was superb. Narayan in the dining hall took very good care of us and made sure my grand daughter had bland food made for her which I appreciate. Lorena too helped us with a late check out. Basically all the staff were good and kind and friendly. I would highly recommend Riu Palace for anyone wanting to go there. Thank you

My experience at Rio Jambo Hotel in Zanzibar was well below expectations. Although the staff were friendly and polite, they were often overly pushy and intrusive towards guests. The buffet was very repetitive throughout the stay, with little variety in both fruits and desserts. For a tropical destination like Zanzibar, I expected much better quality and diversity in this aspect. Another issue I found unprofessional was that when the shower gel ran out, they replaced it with an unlabelled bottle with no indication whatsoever of what product was inside. This showed a lack of care and hygiene standards. I was also disappointed with the way beer was served: they would open the bottle, pour only one glass, and then store the remaining beer in the freezer to serve later. This is not an appropriate or transparent practice for guests. The worst part was undoubtedly the situation on the beach. The street vendors around the hotel are extremely aggressive and persistent. They constantly disturb guests and often make it impossible to relax or even go into the water without being approached repeatedly. Overall, despite the friendliness of the staff, there are several important areas that need significant improvement in order to provide guests with a truly relaxing and quality experience.

This hotel was beyond my expectations, truly an amazing experience. The rooms and the views were beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included, and all the food was absolutely delicious. The beach was clean and stunning, with so many fun activities to enjoy throughout the day. This was truly a memorable stay that I will always remember.
