This was an excellent, all-inclusive hotel. The staff are absolutely delightful, very attentive and very keen to help. While there were occasional minor slips in service, the staff were always quick to put things right, and their genuine charm and good humour enhanced the overall experience. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner were superb. The offerings were extensive and covered a wide range of cuisines. Specialty restaurants had to be booked separately which was a bit tricky. They have to be booked by room and we had to co-ordinate two rooms. On one occasion, we gave up and went down for help at reception. However, both restaurants we tried, Krystal and Ia, were excellent. The range of drinks was also extensive. Some cocktails were stronger than expected! The rooms were very comfortable, clean and a lovely touch was the daily adornment of the beds with fresh flowers as decorations - very cute. Sea access was easy but one has to run the gauntlet of the Beach Boys. The hotel gardens were magnificent.

We could not have wished for a better place to celebrate the beginning of our marriage. What makes this stay truly extraordinary and unique are the wonderful people who work here. Such hard workers! Everyone—from the chef-koks and the staff bringing drinks to the gardeners and every single employee behind the scenes—without exception, they all deliver absolute top-tier service. And the best part of it all is that you can truly tell they do it with so much joy and genuine friendliness. We genuinely lacked absolutely nothing. Thanks to their incredible hospitality, we enjoyed every single second to the fullest. We have developed such a deep respect for them; these people truly deserve a massive commendation. A thousand thanks to the entire team for the fantastic care and the warm, friendly smiles every single day. You made our honeymoon magical, and we are so incredibly grateful. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any request. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation experience. Al tikanso la “beit ha steak” bizboz zman.

We had an incredible 8-night stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and comfortable. Our suite was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and incredibly well maintained. I couldn’t stop taking photos, although somehow the photos just don’t do it justice! The pools were crystal clear, the beach sand was soft, and the ocean was absolutely beautiful to swim in. What made our stay extra special and truly memorable, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and the service was exceptional. We never once felt overlooked. We were greeted warmly wherever we went, and somehow, they always made sure we had a drink in hand! Atu at Breeze bar and Hafsa at Ginger bar deserve a special mention! I usually dread buffet-style meals at resorts, often because there simply aren’t enough staff to keep up with serving drinks, clearing tables and setting up for the next guests. But the dining room service at The Promenade restaurant was genuinely top-notch. The staff were always on top of everything — keeping drinks topped up, clearing tables and ensuring everything was clean and ready. And then there was the food! It was out of this world. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, served hot and absolutely delicious. The variety was incredible, and there was always something different and exciting to enjoy. We ate at “IA” one evening, but honestly, we preferred the buffet. There was such a fantastic selection that we never felt bored with the food, and there wasn’t a single thing we had that wasn’t delicious. Well done to the chefs! A huge thank you as well for making my birthday so special. From the housekeeping team to the staff at dinner, every little detail was so thoughtful and genuinely appreciated. It made the occasion even more memorable. And one of the absolute highlights of our holiday was the water volleyball! It was so much fun and such a great way to spend time with the other guests and staff. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay. We had an incredible time and left feeling relaxed, spoiled and very well looked after. We would absolutely love to return!

We were more than delighted with our stay at the Riu Palace Zanzibar! The hotel is absolutely stunning, the surroundings are beautiful, and the beaches around the resort are simply breathtaking. The food was exceptional as well – varied, high-quality, and delicious every single day. What impressed us the most, however, was the kindness and efficiency of the staff. The level of service throughout our stay was truly outstanding and made our vacation unforgettable. We would especially like to recognize Shadya, who looked after us every day by the pool. She was always incredibly friendly, attentive, efficient, and greeted us with a smile. In the evenings, Jema took wonderful care of us and provided excellent service throughout our evening at the bar. In fact, so many member of the team deserves praise. (From gardeners, to beach team, to breakfast and dinner team, cleaning ladies, etc). We have rarely experienced such a professional, dedicated, and genuinely caring staff. Our only small criticism would be the entertainment. We found some evenings a little too quiet and lacking in activities. That said, we really enjoyed some of the shows, especially the Freedom Dancers, and the Riu Party on Friday night was definitely a highlight of our stay. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Riu Palace Zanzibar to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We would happily return!
