Our stay at The Mora was one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from the very first day. The food was delicious, with a great variety of high-quality dishes. The beach is absolutely stunning, and both the pools and the entire resort are kept in perfect condition. The waiters and waitresses were always smiling, attentive, and served excellent cocktails and refreshing drinks. Their service was outstanding and truly made our stay even more enjoyable. A very special thank you to Sia and Thabita for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. They made our holiday unforgettable. We created wonderful memories at The Mora and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious holiday.

From the moment we arrived at The Mora Resort in Zanzibar, we felt like we were being welcomed home rather than just checking into a hotel. There’s something really special about this place and it’s 100% because of the people. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, warm, and always went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Whether it was a friendly greeting in the morning or checking in on us throughout the day, it never felt forced—it felt real. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Our room was absolutely amazing—beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully put together, which made it even easier to just unwind and enjoy every moment. And we have to talk about the bar—because Peter is hands down the best bartender. Not only were his drinks incredible, but his personality made every visit something we looked forward to. Huge shoutout as well to Jennifer, Jackson, and Pascal, who were all so much fun and made our nights even more memorable. Honestly, it’s hard to name just a few people because everyone at The Mora was truly amazing. The level of care and friendliness we experienced here is something we’ll never forget. We would recommend The Mora Resort to anyone without hesitation. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, relaxing, and genuinely special, this is it. We already can’t wait to come back.

An amazing holiday with exceptional food, fantastic drinks, and wonderful staff! ❤️ We had a fantastic stay at The Mora Zanzibar. What really made our holiday special was the people. The staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help. They made us feel welcome and truly looked after throughout our stay. The food was outstanding and easily one of the highlights of our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and looked forward to them every day! The drinks were equally impressive. They tasted carefully made, rather than mass-produced, and you could really tell the difference. That attention to quality made them all the more enjoyable. The hotel also offered a varied programme of activities and entertainment, with plenty to enjoy throughout our stay. The app was excellent too, making it easy and convenient to explore what was on offer and plan our days. A special thank you goes to the housekeeping team. Our room was cleaned beautifully, and we really appreciated the care and effort that went into keeping everything spotless and comfortable. Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The Mora Hotel is a beautiful property located right on the beach. It is spotlessly clean, and the staff is genuinely helpful, warm, and always smiling. One of the biggest advantages for us was the relaxed atmosphere — there wasn't an overwhelming amount of daily entertainment, making it the perfect place for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The Mora Hotel clearly prioritizes cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort at every turn. A very special thank you goes to Khadija from the beach, Reuben from the beach bar, and Benjamin from the Horizon restaurant, who took such amazing care of us during our week-long stay. It was so heartwarming that, despite a fully booked hotel, the team remembered our names as well as our favorite drinks. Thanks to their exceptional hospitality, our stay was even better than we could have ever dreamed of!

After our nine-night stay at this lovely hotel, we were thoroughly impressed with its facilities. The staff were absolutely first-rate, and the attention to cleanliness, both in the rooms and in the beautiful gardens, was impeccable. Our room was delightful, featuring a comfortable bed, a stylish bathroom, and we enjoyed the on-site entertainment as well. The only suggestion we would make is the introduction of an adults-only pool. We spent much of our time at the garden pool, which is set in a secluded area with a swim-up bar, perfect for a quieter atmosphere. However, the experience was sometimes disrupted by children under 16 screaming, jumping from the bar, and shouting constantly. Designating this pool as adults-only would make it an ideal retreat. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time at the hotel and will take home plenty of fond memories.
