Wonderful experience We absolutely loved our stay at Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa — a true five-star experience! The team is wonderful, friendly and attentive, the entertainment is great, and the food is excellent. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. What really stood out to us, however, was the exceptional service and genuine customer care. We were staying at the hotel to celebrate our son’s birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make the occasion truly special and memorable. They exceeded our expectations in every way. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so wonderful. We will definitely remember this experience and would be very happy to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband, teenage son and I stayed at the resort for a week at the end end of July. I had secretly upgraded to a jungle villa and WOW! The rooms were amazing with private plunge pool in our own outdoor area. Another huge bonus to this was our private butler and we had the pleasure of Jacqueline. We had very few requirements but the smallest thing and she sorted immediately. She checked in frequently and was able to make reservations at the spa, dinner , sorted fresh pool towels etc etc. the resort itself was immaculate and every single member of staff were really friendly and you could not walk a few paces without someone calling Jambo! The pool area has plenty of loungers and umbrellas and staff weee constantly available if you wanted a drink or snack. Food…… oh my goodness! We dined mainly in the buffet restaurant and referring to the food as ‘buffet’ really does do the quality and barrier of food an injustice. There was literally everything and anything freshly cooked for you, even on theme nights. On evening we all dined by the pool and one on the beach and lite er ally the whole kitchen loved outdoors and the standards weee exceptional again for choice and quality. We were half board but did fine one night in the al a carte restaurant which was phenomenal. Have to say we still preferred the main restaurant so we could sample so many different things The beach attached to the hotel is pristine and security prevent any hassles venture past to the sea and there are a few locals but they are all polite and respect a ‘no thank you’. Venturing down the Main Street to a cash point is the same and the liquor store and couple of little restaurants over the road from resort very reasonably priced Would definately recommend

We were hosted at Gold Zanzibar Resort and Spa at the end of August, and I would like to highly recommend it. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. The service is amazing, as the people are generous and friendly. Welcoming at every opportunity - Hakuna Matata, Pole Pole, Asante Sana, Jambo, and many other kind words we learned there. All are always smiling and willing to help. We chose the Jungle Villa accommodation with a private pool and hot tub. A big suite where the family is together, but the parents have privacy. We went as a couple to the Full Moon Party, and the atmosphere was extraordinary! The kids slept in the room while the noise level was normal and controlled. The beach is the most wonderful in Zanzibar, a perfect location - clear turquoise water where you can see starfish, unique ocean fish, and more. The pool is big and impressive. The food is very tasty. We had one dinner on the beach and another one near the pool, as planned by the hotel on Mondays and Fridays. My kids were busy all the time enjoying the facilities and activities (including an exclusive fire show). My wife and I had a romantic sunset trip on the seashore. I 100% guarantee a high value since the place is 10/10!

We stayed 6 nights in Gold Zanzibar as part of our honeymoon. The staff of this resort are so amazing and helpful and they try to ensure you have the best experience. Thank you to Kelvin in the bar and Maryness at the beach who made our experience really special. I have a food allergy which makes travelling difficult but the Chefs at this resort were so good at taking care of me. A special thank you to Chef Kai and Chef Warren along with all of the breakfast chefs who were on hand to help me with what I could eat. I became very sick during the vacation (this had nothing to do with the hotel) and the staff helped me access medical care and provided any food at my request to try and help me feel better. I really appreciated this. Thank you to manager Ali who really helped us. We had a dream honeymoon meal on the beach and the staff kindly moved the date of this twice due to my illness. The beach is beautiful and the resort is kept in a beautiful manner by the gardeners and ground staff. Staff are so kind and helpful and I would have no hesitation in recommending this resort.

most amazing hotel and beautiful beach. Chef Paul and Chef Warren went out of their way to prepare dairy free foods for my daughter. Our Butler Jackline was so wonderful with my kids. The food was really delicious. Will definitely recommend Gold Zanzibar. Their staff are excellent. We had the most amazing time at the hotel and beach. The villa was very neat
