Just arrived yesterday from our stay at Maritim Resort and Spa. It is indeed a beautiful resort and a wonderful place to stay. We were a group of 12 and everyone had something good to say about the place. Beautiful beach, rooms and constant maintenance of the property. And yes the mosquitos are around a lot even in winter. Only reason why lost a star in my review is the food. Very bland to an Indian. Seems hotel caters more for the palate of Europeans. They seemed very happy with the spreads and spice level. All inclusive helps keeps us filled with the drinks 😁 Truth is value for money is there. I've stayed at more expensive hotels down the road from Maritim and this was definitely worth it. A special thanks to Manav at the front desk. He went out if his way to make our stay comfortable and always went that little extra make our family trip something special.

In July we had another amazing stay at the Maritim where we celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with the Resort Manager, Krishna, during our stay. All the staff are very helpful and efficient, and do a fantastic job. It was so good to see the grounds looking neat and our room kept clean when requested. Any issues that we had, Dini ensured that they were swiftly sorted for us. It was also good to constantly see the presence of the management staff and they would wave and chat to us when passing by. Our Anniversary meal in the Chateau was a nice surprise along with the flowers, cake and the arrangement of towel decoration in our room. A dinner that was arranged for us in La Maree on our last evening was excellent and when we returned to our room there was a small gift waiting for us. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed in August all inclusive. Beautiful big resort, very remote, clean (although parts around the dining room & some bars need bit deep clean or updating) Service very slow. Food very bland, lukewarm & repetitive. Food at beach bars left for over 10 minutes on side before being given to customers no wonder ours was always cold & inedible. Not even stray dog & birds would eat it!! Other restaurants always ‘fully booked’ but were empty when we did manage on 2 occasions to get a table. I was very sick after eating at the fine dining restaurant. Charged for food that was fully inclusive & ‘free’ drinks included in mini bar not re-stocked despite constantly asking, so I asked if the 3 snacks my daughter ate, because she was so hungry, could be a good will gesture. Still got charged. Emailed twice to be reimbursed no response. Nice clean room but water not very hot at all & drainage smell at times. Staff, lovely, polite & I enjoyed horse riding. Still waiting to be reimbursed for food & snacks!

Maritim Hotel is amazing the location is great. The hotel is set on a large amount of acres and so much to do including: tennis, spa, animal farm, tortoises, golf etc. The food is exceptional and the restaurants are great offering lovely selection of menus. The hotel is clean and the staff are professional, friendly and speak great English. Special thanks to Manauv and Bhavdeep on reception they looked after us and were very helpful. In the spa a special thanks to the spa manager for explaining the treatments to us and Manoj the yoga instructor was lovely too. Joyce and Hema were great therapists who did our treatments and they were exceptional and listened well to our needs. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone it would suit all types of people. Thanks to the hotel for making it a blissful stay for 10 nights.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Deeven, Assistant F&B Manager and Mrs. Cherina, Front Office Manager for making our special day truly memorable. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care ensured that we had a wonderful experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel valued, and we are truly grateful for their outstanding hospitality. A special thank you also goes to Mrs. Vimla and Mr Deeven who made us feel so warm and welcome throughout our lunch. Their kindness, attentiveness, and friendly service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I would also like to thank the bar staff for their service and the gentleman at the Front Office who greeted us with such warmth and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the handling of our requests by Mrs. Madhevi (Events Manager) and Mrs.Tirousha . Our experience with the Events Manager was disappointing. Despite several email exchanges and discussions before our visit, the agreed arrangements were not carried out. Based on our experience, we felt that we could not rely on the event management team to follow through on the commitments that had been made. Overall, we had a lovely experience thanks to the dedication and exceptional service provided by the rest of the team. Their hospitality truly made a positive difference, and we appreciate all their efforts.
