We had an incredible iftar at Layalina! The food was absolutely amazing and the view provided the perfect backdrop for the evening. What truly made the night special, however, was the service. Our waiter, Mohamed Nasser, was fantastic.. incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help us with everything we needed. It’s rare to find such high-quality service paired with such a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Marriott on Palm Jumeirah and honestly expected a much higher level of service. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. During our stay our tour operator cancelled our flight due to the situation in Dubai. Because of this unexpected situation, we contacted the hotel to ask if it would be possible to extend our stay for one more night and whether they could offer any kind of discount. Sadly, there was almost no response from the hotel. No one contacted us, no alternatives were offered, and there was no attempt to assist us during a difficult situation. In moments like this you expect a hotel of the Marriott level to show some flexibility and support for their guests, but that did not happen. The hotel itself is nice — good location, comfortable rooms and pleasant facilities. However, the level of service and the way guest issues are handled in unexpected situations did not meet the expectations associated with the Marriott brand. Hopefully the hotel will pay more attention to supporting guests when unforeseen circumstances occur.

Dear Marriott Team, I arrived in Dubai early last Saturday morning at around 7 a.m., and shortly after that the rocket situation started. It was a very unusual experience at first, especially for a German who isn’t used to something like this, and it took a moment to adjust. But I would really like to give a huge compliment to the entire hotel. Throughout all these days, the work in every single area was outstanding. Everyone did their job extremely well. Every person was friendly, calm, and professional. The level of service was incredible, even in situations where we had to go down to the basement for safety. The technology, the information, and the communication were all absolutely first class. Experiencing this has actually made me feel even more connected to Dubai, because I felt surrounded by professionals who can handle any situation. Thank you very much for everything. Detlef Held

We stayed at this hotel for one week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the helpfulness of the entire hotel staff exceeded anything we have experienced before. A special mention goes to Paul, who speaks German and supported us with advice and assistance at all times – his dedication truly made a difference. The hotel is very clean, modern, and extremely well maintained. We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The gym is also excellent and well equipped. Overall, a fantastic hotel that we would book again at any time and highly recommend.
