Hotel is incredibly clean and very comfortable. No insects or litter to be seen. Rooms are air conditioned and modern with dressing gowns, slippers and lovely boxes of goodies for children. Pool is ideal for young children as there are many shallow areas as well as a separate splash park. It isn’t heated so may be cooler at the start of the season. The sandy beach is next door to the hotel so it’s easily accessible and you can pop back to the hotel if you forget something. Staff very helpful and generous - the only disappointment was noticing that a lifeguard sat on his phone for much of his shift. The hotel has entertainment and music at certain times so consider this if it’s not your thing (it’s not ours but as it’s usually less than 30 mins it wasn’t intrusive). Food was very varied and reasonable quality. We visited at the end of October with young children and the weather was perfect for beach and pool days at over 25 degrees each day. The area around the hotel is ‘lively’ and a mix of young people visiting bars as well as retirees on mobility scooters. The town is quite tired and scruffy. There’s nothing in particular to see or do, so don’t visit if you want more than sunbathing and swimming from a holiday.

I had a great stay at the Mediterranean Palace! The hotel itself is excellent. The location is nice right near the beach, and the facilities are kept clean. I was also impressed by the extensive breakfast buffet, which had a large variety of options, including a great selection of desserts. However, the main reason for this 5-star review is the exceptional service I received, particularly from Paul in housekeeping (the gentleman with short curly hair). He was extremely friendly and incredibly thoughtful throughout my stay. It is rare to find someone so genuinely considerate and attentive to the small details that make a guest feel welcome. A great hotel with wonderful amenities, but staff members like Paul are what truly make the experience special.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We especially loved the kid-friendly environment and the lovely staff. The location is great — right between a shopping area and a beautiful beach — so we had everything we needed within easy reach. The bistro offered a wide variety of food, and the quality was very good as well. Overall, a wonderful experience for families.

The hotel is nice, clean, and well-maintained, but I can't give it a high rating. When booking, I mentioned that I was coming with my husband to celebrate his 50th birthday. Despite this, we weren't greeted with champagne, which is a tradition at this hotel to welcome guests with champagne. As it later turned out, there wasn't anyone responsible for serving champagne to guests. Apparently, we were unlucky, but it will be a memorable experience because it was my husband's birthday. After two days at the hotel and the beautiful weather, we decided to extend our stay. We went to the reception desk and were told it wasn't possible because the hotel was fully booked. We returned to our room and checked the hotel website, which turned out to be a lie, as it was possible to make a reservation online, which we successfully made. The staff were not very friendly towards guests, except for one pleasant gentleman who was walking around the hotel lobby. He wasn't the receptionist. We only had breakfast included. The selection was very large, but the quality was limited. The eggs and omelet mix were the worst, not good. The drinks machine was also terrible, and all the coffee was undrinkable. There was no water in the rooms. I think a 5-star hotel should provide this.

Our first time staying at a resort hotel and Mediterranean Palace exceeded our expectations! The room was clean and bright with modern decor, very comfortable. The main restaurant was fabulous; happy and helpful staff, really impressive and high quality selection of food with much of it cooked to order. We travelled with our 15 month old daughter and the hotel was so welcoming and accessible. A special shout out to the kids club team who were FANTASTIC with our daughter and had some really impressive facilities. There was a mini disco every evening for young ones and, although our daughter isn't dancing yet, was so excited by the songs and staff energy. The staff were a real asset to the hotel, from the check-in staff, kids club, concierge, housekeeping, restaurant staff. Every one of them really made our stay special. Thank you!
