Our family stay at the Mediterranean Palace, was enjoyable. So, despite reservations, it just (and only just) merits a 4 star review. The main issue was perhaps my high expectations. The hotel is described as five-star, but while the facilities may suggest that, the overall experience for me did not. For example, queuing for a table at breakfast was common. The main food area for breakfast and dinner gave the sense of having to fight the crowds for your food. While the food was reasonable, additionally would have expected a greater variety and better quality of fresh fruit and salads. There were lots of fish options, but veggie/vegan choices were quite limited. We opted for all-inclusive, which probably only makes sense if you drink alcohol (which we don’t). The room was good. Reasonable size, recently renovated, clean and with everything you might expect. However, the central position of our room in the hotel and on the second floor, meant we were close to the loud music that was on until 11pm each night - only really a problem if you've smaller kids with early bedtimes, as we did. I raised this at check-in but was assured it would be fine. The doors patio doors cut out a lot of the sound but, it was still worse than I'd expected; although by the end of the holiday we became more used to it. Overall experience made me feel like being a sausage in a sausage factory, not exactly the 5 star feel. However, I should also say the staff were faultlessly polite and working extremely hard. Plus, the mango smoothies from the pool bar were a highlight!

We had an absolutely outstanding stay at the Mediterranean Palace in Tenerife, and I honestly cannot praise this hotel enough. From the moment we arrived, every single detail was handled with exceptional professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. A very special mention must go to Carmen at reception, who truly made our experience unforgettable. She is an absolute credit to the hotel. Carmen welcomed us with such kindness, elegance, and professionalism that we immediately felt valued and at home. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her — she went above and beyond at every opportunity, always with a beautiful smile and an incredibly positive attitude. It is rare nowadays to meet someone so naturally gifted in customer service. Employees like Carmen are exactly what make guests return again and again. The hotel itself is simply superb. The location is perfect — right by the beach, with stunning surroundings and everything conveniently nearby. The food was absolutely excellent throughout our stay: fresh, varied, beautifully presented, and of outstanding quality. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is luxurious yet relaxed, making it the perfect place for a memorable holiday. Mediterranean Palace exceeded all our expectations in every possible way. Without question, one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. We will definitely return and will highly recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone we know.

It's the 4th consecutive year we stay at Mare Nostrum Resort, and at this point have stayed at all 3 hotels. This and last year we stayed at Mediterranean palace and it's simply perfect for us. It has been completely refurbished less than 2 years ago. The rooms are well organized and modern, service is delightful especially the care and attention given to kids - the kids club is awesome (the equipment, but above all the lovely staff!), so are the pools, food variety is just right, the gym is small but well equipped. And being right by the beach is the ultimate luxury. We will definitely be back!

Very clean with friendly staff centrally located. Really recommend room 6003 with a walk-in closet that was unexpected and amazing views. Read a number of reviews of this hotel and I cannot agree at all with the bad ones. Definitely deserves a better score than the current ones on Google and Tripadvisor. Yes, there is entertainment in the hotel which can make some sound until 2300 if you have a pool view. But, that is expected from a hotel like this. The five-year old had no issues falling asleep at all. Plus the entertainment is of great quality. The breakfast is excellent. Wide variety of choices and I don't really understand the reviews saying that the food would be cold. It is not. Everything is fresh and tasty. The room is particularly clean and newly renovated. We loved the room. The activities for the kids are amazing and we especially loved the mini-disco. The location is perfect. Especially recommend the restaurants Sebastian, Almar and Zenzero. The beach super close to the hotel is excellent and made the days perfect pairing the beach with the amazing pool. Sun chairs were always available. Special shout out to the staff cleaning the rooms. They were super kind and did an amazing job. People expecting the Ritz or some similar 5-star experience have clearly not understood the rating system. The service is excellent and the facilities justify the rating. 5/5

Amazing hotel!!! Had the best experience tenerife could of possibly giving to us. The hotel is just simply the best in tenerife I would not stay anywhere else in the future. I couldnt get over how the hotel looked the decor and design is just great I loved how the hotel was I would simply say its a 5 star hotel. The staff were just amazing from reception to entertainment to the cleaners. The cleaners every day would great you each member. The entertainment staff doing the sports activities like games and sports like volley ball had a great way about things very energetic people with great positive out look on things. I really liked the sports activities the staff definitely done exceptional work if you ask me. The buffet was great however I would of liking to see more of an Irish traditional breakfast there. They have a weighing scales for your baggage which is a bonus to and staff at reception try there best to accommodate you
