A great hotel. Very nice and comfortable. The beds are great as well. The staff is very nice and generous. The breakfast is great, like the best breakfast at a hotel in Thailand. The location is not great if you want to be close to the city and the restaurants. Its more secluded and far away. If you just want to be at the resort and on the beach it's great.

A beautiful hotel with an amazing pool area by the beach. The rooms are spacious and modern. The staff were lovely and very attentive to details. We especially appreciated the room upgrade upon check-in, thanks to Rainbow, who was very welcoming and kind. Auto was also very friendly and helpful with our luggage. We had a small complaint about noisy guests talking and partying late at night in the rooms and corridors. Although this was not the hotel’s fault, the situation was handled very professionally, and we were kindly offered another room. Overall, a very pleasant stay with excellent service.

We stayed in Boat suite with pool access and Level access. Boat suite is disappointing- small bedroom upstairs, steep stairs leading from ground floor to the bedroom, room gets very hot as it’s right under the roof, and aircon unit is right opposite the bed blasting out cold air in your face. Aircon is very old and noisy. All boat suites are overlooked so you can’t really open the curtains without having someone peeking through from villas next door or looking into someone’s room. Limited storage and wardrobes could definitely have more drawers/ shelves. Room needs updating and outdoor area looks very tired as well. Great to have access to Level lounge but feel it was too full for its capacity. Also feel lounge should be adults only- have nothing against kids but the hotel is lacking adult vibes if you know what I mean. There’s swim up bar right next to kids playroom which is weird- we saw parents getting smashed and falling over during happy hour while “looking after” their kids playing in the pool. This is kind of place where you need to rush out at dawn to put your towels to secure best sun loungers which we didn’t expect in Melia! Loungers and sun sofas around main pool and boat villas need some deep cleaning and/or replacement. If you have to stay here- save your money on boat suites and just book swim up rooms- your bedroom and bathroom will be bigger with better access to the pool. Overall would not recommend.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Booked the level suite for 22k a night. Access to the level lounge included, which was worth the money. Room also very nice. Just 2 things: 1. please take care people not out towels on the benches in the pool and walk away to breakfast or somewhere else. Just collect them, so someone else can stay there. We are not in a cheap 2 star hotel, so no space for behaviour from tourists like that. 2. the priority checkin counter is great, bit please leave it fee for level or Melia status guests. I pay 22 k a night so in not ok, if some package tourist that spent 3-4 k a night block this counter. Thanks and see you soon.

Our stay at Meliá Koh Samui was nothing short of unforgettable and easily one of the most relaxing and romantic resort experiences we’ve had in Thailand. What truly makes this resort special, though, is the people. From the moment we arrived, Manager Maya set the tone with her genuine care and attention to detail. The warm welcome at the front desk from Lucy, along with Zena and Sachi at Level, made us feel instantly at home. Their kindness, smiles, and professionalism stayed with us throughout our stay and will definitely be missed. The two-level Boat Suites are absolutely stunning, especially the pool-access Boat Suite 2 which is Thoughtfully designed, private, and incredibly comfortable, they offer a unique blend of luxury and charm that feels both indulgent and intimate. With its tranquil atmosphere, exceptional customer service, beautiful beach, and thoughtful design, Meliá Koh Samui is a place that stays with you long after you leave. A truly magical escape for couples and anyone seeking peace, romance, and heartfelt hospitality. We can’t wait to return!
