Fantastic location and service. We initially got the semi double room and didn’t realize how tiny it was: barely fit two people, ie the walk path next to your bed is so narrow that only one person can stand there. So we requested an upgrade and got the regular double room that is much more reasonable and at a fair price too. Basically, everything is tiny in Ginza so you get what you pay for. There was room for our two ski bags after the upgrade. We love how the Yamato transport service is everywhere in Japan. So our ski resort hotel shipped our ski and carryon bags directly to this hotel where they received it a couple of days earlier than our arrival. We called ahead before the shipping and this hotel was very accommodating. Like all good Japanese hotels, they provide pajamas and almost everything you need for toiletry, including toothbrush, paste, hair brush, and shea butter too. There’s a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, tea and humidifier in our room. A microwave is in the lobby in front of the elevators. Super helpful! There is one day turn around laundry service at the typical hotel price. We used it on a pair of pants and it was easy. Best part about the location: three convenience stores steps away with 7Eleven literally next door, Starbucks a block away, Starbucks Reserve with 3 floors of food and drinks is alway two blocks away. Super convenient stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Booked the twin room and it was considered spacious for hotel room in Japan. We can open two large luggages, still have room for walk and a stroller. The front desk were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The amenities are complete and the skincare complimentary were various. The location was very great. A lot of great restaurants nearby. Short walk to the heart of Ginza. Near to the public transport. I had a great impression staying here.

Not the right pick for families with small children. We spent one night here for our last day in Japan, because the location in perfect of you have to get the Narita Express, and because the hotel has a restaurant inside (very good for our baby boy, so in our plan we could have an early dinner inside). We arrived, we checked in and we asked for the restaurant menu. They said the restaurant is open to children from 7 years old (basically is an adults only restaurant). We were very disappointed even because there was no indication of that anywhere. In the meanwhile they gave us the room, we asked for a changing room for the diaper change, the receptionist indicated me a toilet. Surprise? There was no place to change the baby. I returned to the reception and kindly informed the staff that it was absolutely ok for me to change the baby there, so they gave us the room, before than we expected. The room has lots of amenities, but it is terribly small. We had to leave the stroller out of our room. Important note: there is a window, but you can't open it. What about the breakfast... Extremely minimal, no choice, nothing healthy for children (fresh fruits, fresh yogurt). It is not the right choice with family.

We loved our stay at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Ginza, and would absolutely return. The rooms are cute and have all the basic products you need, including a ReFa hairdryer - which was my favourite part. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff was so kinda. おもてなしをありがとうございました 🌸

Hotel Monterey La Soeur Ginza is a pleasant place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff, although their English skills are quite limited, which can make communication a bit challenging at times. The location, however, is excellent, within easy walking distance of Tokyo Station, where you can conveniently catch a bus to Narita Airport. The rooms are comfortable and decorated in a Western style, though they are small, as is common in Japan. Overall, it’s a charming and well-located hotel, ideal for a short city stay.
