Exceptional Service & Genuine Care – A Supreme Experience I had a truly outstanding stay at Hotel The Celestine Tokyo Shiba. The service here is world-class—polite, proactive, and deeply caring. I want to personally commend the front desk team, especially two staff members who went above and beyond: • Shimada San: After I had checked out and was already far from the hotel, I realized I had lost my wedding ring. Shimada San was incredibly helpful, searching every single corner of the property in detail to assist me. Her dedication in such a stressful situation was remarkable. • Manami Fukuro San: When I returned a day later needing a formal letter for a travel insurance claim, she handled it immediately and professionally, allowing me to process my report without any delay. Beyond individual assistance, the hotel's general management is seamless. We left for a 2-day local tour and stored most of our luggage at the hotel. We returned late at night to check into a different room, and were so touched to find that the staff had already moved all of our luggage into our new room. After a long day of travel, this level of thoughtfulness was exactly what we needed. The hotel amenities are also top-tier. The 14F guest lounge is a highlight, offering free wine and snacks with a surprisingly relaxing outdoor seating area. If you are looking for a hotel that combines high-end comfort with staff who genuinely care about their guests, this is it. Highly recommended!

The rooms were small but normal size for Tokyo for the price so I was not disappointed. The staff were very polite and helpful and the location was great. Fairly quiet neighborhood but close to many central spots and walking distance to Tokyo Tower. The hotel was well furnished and had a lounge available to guest 24hrs a day. I had a great stay.

While the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the property itself needs improvement. The rooms are quite small and feel outdated. Additionally, the in-room Wi-Fi was the worst I've experienced—I had to call reception twice just to get a router sent up. For Muslim travelers, please note that while breakfast is included, there are unfortunately no halal options available. Lastly, we were told we'd be on the 17th floor, which felt a bit misleading as it wasn't actually near the top of the building as implied.

Great hotel with incredible staff. Every personnel was there to help and serve you. Makes you feel like royalty. Room was a good size for Japan with awesome views. Variety store across the street for late night amenities. They have a restaurant and a bar on site. I found the restaurant a little expensive though, about 38 dollars for breakfast pp. They have a lounge on the 14th floor where there is free coffee juice and tea in the morning which I found very helpful. And free beer and wine between 5pm and 8pm. The area is full of little authentic restaurant and shops. When back in Japan I will be staying here again

I stayed here for one night solo on a long layover a while back. The room was very small but good enough for one person. Got to wake up to an amazing view of Mt Fuji in the morning. I liked the area as it was quieter and less busy than other popular neighborhoods. The negatives: -I exclusively stay at 5-star hotels and I travel full time so I’m well-versed in this world. This was a 3-star at best. -The rooms are dated -No assistance with luggage at my arrival or up to my room (as one person with 3 bags this was an annoyance and something I expect from a 5-star)
