I had a overall wonderful stay at Movenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin. The service from every single staff member was exceptional—they were truly attentive to every detail. A special shout-out to the breakfast team: when I couldn't finish my eggs because they were a bit too undercooked for my liking, they noticed immediately, checked in on me, and prepared a fresh dish right away. There were a few minor delays during my stay, possibly due to a wedding event being held at the hotel: • On the first day: Our turn-down service was missed. Since we had requested an extra bed, we had to call the staff at 8:30 PM to set it up because we were very tired and ready to rest. However, they arrived within 15 minutes of my call. • On the second day: Housekeeping came to clean the room around 4:00 PM, likely due to high occupancy. The Room: The room was incredibly spacious. The bed was soft, the duvet was thick, and I slept very comfortably. Points for Improvement: • The Gym: During my morning workout (8:00 AM – 9:00 AM), the gym was quite hot because of the direct sunlight; I would highly suggest installing blinds or curtains to block the heat. Additionally, there were no towels or tissues available to wipe my face and sweat. Most importantly, there was a strong musty smell inside, which made the environment less than ideal for exercising. • Insects: Despite keeping the doors closed at all times, there were many mosquitoes—probably due to the lush gardens and lotus ponds nearby. I also found a small centipede in the shower area, but the housekeeping staff came to remove it promptly after I informed them.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Family Getaway at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin We recently stayed at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin with our extended family, including kids and seniors, and had a truly memorable experience during long weekend. Although the resort is located about 15–20 minutes from downtown Hua Hin, the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to recharge and escape from the stress of daily life. One of the highlights is that every accommodation is a villa, offering exceptional privacy and space. Our villa was incredibly spacious (starting from 120 sqm), allowing everyone to relax comfortably. We especially enjoyed having the option of an outdoor shower, indoor shower, and a large bathtub with spa salt for a soothing soak. Getting around the resort was effortless thanks to the buggy service, which can accommodate 5–6 guests per ride. This was particularly convenient for our senior family members and young children. The resort is also pet-friendly and features beautiful shaded gardens and a serene lake area, making it ideal for leisurely walks with family and furry friends. A must-do activity is the famous Chocolate Hour at Kam Pu Restaurant from 3:00–4:00 PM. My kids absolutely loved the unlimited chocolate treats and looked forward to it every day! For dinner, we highly recommend Baan Dum Thai Authentic Restaurant. The seaside setting in a charming traditional Thai house, combined with live music, created a wonderful dining atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the Pad Thai with Shrimp and Fried Chicken Wings. We were also impressed by the chef’s kindness in preparing a special dish for our child that was not even on the menu. Overall, Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin is an excellent choice for families with children, seniors, and even pets. The spacious villas, attentive service, relaxing environment, and family-friendly facilities make it a destination we would happily return to again.

We spent a few days at the Asara resort eleven years ago and had a wonderful holiday then. It is even better today. it's a really beautiful setting with very well-designed pool villas and public buildings, boardwalks that wind their way between large pools stocked with fish and canopied by huge kampu trees. It's fascinating watching the varieties of birds and squirrels that live in them. The hotel is even better today than it was in the past in part because the two restaurants are first-rate. The buffet breakfasts are excellent, not only because of the wide range (most international hotels provide that) but because the quality of the individual preparation is so high. And beyond that, Baan Dum ("the black house'), the separate Thai restaurant, has the best Thai seafood in Hua Hin, with beautifully fresh ingredients prepared in unique ways. Try any of the crab dishes, or - another of my favourites - the prawns in tamarind sauce. I should mention what a complex operation all of this requires. After all, every pool villa is a separate building to maintain. But it's a very smooth operation with a very warm and friendly atmosphere, from the top all the way down to the individual cleaners and kitchen workers.

My stay at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin was one of the best hotel experiences I had during my trip to Thailand. From the very first moment, the elegance and relaxing atmosphere stand out — tropical gardens, traditional Thai aesthetics, and direct access to a sandy beach create a true oasis of calm. The hotel is located right on the beachfront, away from the noise of the city, which provides a great sense of privacy and tranquility. At the same time, it is close enough to the center of Hua Hin to easily go for an evening walk or shopping. The rooms are spacious, tastefully designed, and very clean — perfect for relaxing after a sunny day. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, and tropical views from the windows made returning “home” each day a real pleasure. The resort features beautifully maintained swimming pools, including a large main pool with a sea view as well as quieter areas ideal for relaxation. The beach is accessible during low tide and calm sea conditions. The hotel restaurant serves delicious Thai and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, and dinners with an ocean view were truly enjoyable. The staff are polite, attentive, and always willing to make guests feel comfortable and well cared for. The fitness center, spa, and lush tropical gardens add to the resort’s luxurious character. A big plus are the poolside activities and the friendly, relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. It is an ideal place both for a romantic getaway and for a family vacation — the hotel combines high-quality service, comfort, and a unique location. I highly recommend Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin to anyone looking for relaxation in a luxurious tropical setting.

We stayed at this resort for a week and enjoyed the quiet and very beautiful resort. Amazing swimming pools and some nice activities for guests including yoga, and a daily chocolate buffet with chocolate fountain 😄 The location is a short drive from the downtown area and night market and there is a free shuttle service that goes 3 times a day. There was not a lot of nice areas for walking besides the resort grounds which were absolutely beautiful. It would have been nice to have water bottle filling stations located somewhere in the hotel and I would definitely recommend this be added to a couple areas for guests. Staff were all delightful to deal with and we had an especially pleasant time dealing with the very kind and helpful Noey at the front desk. We had a problem with the AC in our room and she accommodated us with getting another room and checked in multiple times to ensure we were doing ok and happy. We stayed in a suite that had its own pool and really loved the privacy and space that we had. The restaurant was great, and we enjoyed all of the dining experiences available. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a quiet ocean front resort! Thank you Noey and all staff for providing a very nice stay💗
