New Star Resort is set on an idyllic and peaceful stretch of Chaweng Noi Beach. There are beautiful places to relax and sunbathe—directly on the beach, beside the pool or beneath the palm trees. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection with everything needed, while the beachfront restaurant and bar served a nice range of food and drinks. The resort also arranged evening transport to Fisherman’s Village, which was a convenient way to explore another part of the island. The rooms could benefit from an update. My particular room was quite dark and had an unusual oversized bathroom with a trough running through the centre of the floor, which felt like a potential safety hazard when navigating it during the night. Wayfinding around the resort could also be improved. Directional signs to key facilities often seemed to be missing, and the existing signage was particularly difficult to see at night. This made finding my way around unnecessarily challenging as a new arrival. Overall, this is a lovely choice for anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing location on one of the more peaceful parts of Chaweng Beach, although the rooms and signage would benefit from some attention.

I absolutely love this place! The beach is stunning and peaceful, and the pool is both large and very clean. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Plus, the rooms are spacious and spotless. Highly recommended!

A hidden gem! Would recommend for sure. The room was spacious with very high celling. And there was quite a creative bathroom with open shower. The area is quiet, there weren't many guests when we stayed. There are a lot of greens, from lobby to beach bar goes a stream. The hotel has a good access to the beach. As always I am pleasantly surprised with amazing staff, they know what they do and they do it well.

if you want peace and rest just in the beach,this place is perfect for it! they have wonderful people working in the hotel,thank you all for such a hospitality! definitely worth to book place including breakfast,it was one of the best breakfast in all island so far. hotel located in peaceful area,far away from crowds,not so much things to do around,but 7/11 and pharmacy is just across the street.In general this hotel is for couples and families,no party vibe,so just take your book and enjoy your holiday! looking forward to come back !p.s. i stayed in ocean view villa,highly recommended!

The hotel's beach was a perfect 10/10. The service at the hotel is very welcoming; the staff care about you and are always there to help if needed. The room was spacious but a bit old-fashioned, and the yellow color was strange. The bed could be a bit more comfortable. The gym at the hotel is small, and the restaurant next to the pool serves nice food. It's quiet around the hotel and you don't hear any noise.
