A wonderful location. The best sea swimming I've ever experienced. Very comfortable bed but not much space for storing clothes. The one criticism was that the staff, very pleasant and helpful in most aspects, were not keen to tell us how to get into town, apart from telling about a shuttle bus leaving at 7pm and returning at 9pm, which is not much good for a night out! Once out of the hotel gates, we found plenty of options to go into town to eat in the restaurants there. I think the idea was to keep us in the hotel so we had to eat in the expensive options there. We always like to sample the local (cheaper) food. That's my only reservation in recommending this very beautiful hotel to you.

A great four-night stay at SAii Laguna Phuket — we would highly recommend it. Our room was fantastic, with the day beds a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The ferry and shuttle services were convenient, and the facilities, including the waterslide and games area, were excellent for the kids. A special mention to Jintana (Gift), who was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our stay and warmly welcomed us on arrival. Thank you also for organising the club privileges, which made the experience even more special. A shout-out to Helena and Dani, who were also wonderful during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort and very much look forward to returning in the future.

We had a very pleasant stay at SAii Laguna Phuket and overall we were very satisfied. The staff were consistently friendly, quick to respond, and professional, always doing their best to help. The kids club was a real highlight. Our daughter loved it, the activities were well organized, and the staff were warm and attentive. It made a big difference to our stay and allowed us to relax. One drawback is that the rooms are somewhat soundproof, and during our stay we occasionally experienced noise from our Russian neighbours in the evenings. The hotel staff handled this well and did their best to assist us. It’s also worth noting that during our visit, the majority of guests appeared to be Russian. This may be useful information for travelers who prefer a more mixed international atmosphere. Overall, a very nice resort with great service and an excellent kids club.

We stayed at SAii Laguna for my wife’s birthday and truly enjoyed our time there. We booked a Club Room with a bathtub, and the room was very spacious, comfortable, and well designed. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails at the lounge were all excellent and very enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Nathalie and the front desk team for the thoughtful birthday cake and card—it made the celebration even more special. We will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful beachfront resort, but large and with weak internet SAii Laguna Phuket is a visually beautiful, well maintained beachfront resort with genuinely friendly staff and an excellent spa. However, it is a large and busy property, and the internet performance during my stay was very poor. Whether this hotel suits you depends very much on what you are looking for. I stayed in a Beachfront ground floor room. The room itself was in very good condition, with warm, cosy lighting, a modern walk in shower and a comfortable layout. Housekeeping was excellent throughout the week, always friendly and attentive. The biggest advantage of the Beachfront category is direct beach access. Having my own terrace and private loungers allowed me to avoid the main pool area, which, although beautifully designed, was extremely busy and densely packed with deck chairs. For guests who prefer privacy and calm, I would strongly recommend booking this room type. On arrival, my room location was not exactly what I had hoped for despite having made a request in advance. The hotel offered a room change, but I chose to stay. Instead, they kindly granted me complimentary access to the Club breakfast area as a gesture. That was a generous and professional solution and made a real difference to my experience. The main breakfast restaurant is architecturally striking and offers a wide selection, but it can feel crowded. The Club breakfast overlooking the lagoon was calm and refined. Staff there were particularly excellent. Vegetarian hot options could be improved, as several dishes combine vegetables with meat or fish sauce. The spa was one of the highlights of the stay. It is truly five star and exceeded expectations. Now to the downside: the internet. The Wi Fi in my room was extremely slow and unreliable. Basic browsing could become frustrating, and working online was not realistic. Other areas of the hotel were slightly better but still inconsistent. Mobile reception in this part of Bang Tao also seemed weak. If you need reliable internet for work, this is something to consider seriously. There was also one evening with inconsistent hot water, resulting in a lukewarm shower. It happened only once but is worth mentioning. The surrounding area is lively and very tourist focused, with many beach clubs and restaurants within walking distance. It is not a secluded Thai island escape, but a busy Phuket holiday zone. Overall, SAii Laguna Phuket is a beautiful resort with kind staff and a fantastic spa. If you choose the right room category and do not depend heavily on internet access, it can be a very enjoyable stay. Personally, I tend to prefer smaller and more secluded destinations in Thailand, but I still had a relaxing week here.
