We stayed at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa for just one night, as we wanted to explore a different part of Langkawi during our trip. Even with such a short stay, the hotel absolutely met our expectations. This is not a boutique property — quite the opposite. It is a large, expansive resort offering plenty of facilities and attractions for all types of guests. What mattered most to us was staying in one of the beachfront cottages, and that experience was simply fantastic. Stepping directly from our terrace onto the sand was truly special. While the beach itself may not be the most spectacular on the island, morning walks and watching both sunrise and sunset were magical moments. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and ready to fulfill every request with a genuine smile. The check-in process could perhaps be organised a little faster and more efficiently, but this was honestly a very minor issue for us. The resort features two large swimming pools and excellent pool facilities for children, making it a great choice for families traveling with kids. The location is a real winner — practically on Cenang Beach, which is vibrant both during the day and after dark. With countless restaurants, cafés, and water sports options nearby, it’s an excellent base for active travellers exploring Langkawi. Overall, we rate this hotel very highly and can confidently recommend it.

Although there were delays during check in. Overall we are pleased with the effort of the services from the staffs here. They do try their best to accommodate and provide comfort to guests. Room dining is absolutely satisfactory. Welcome by refreshing towels and welcoming drinks at the lobby. There are two pools. You can buggy around the hotel with a driver service. Ordered beef burger. It’s quiet and peaceful. The hotel itself with the pool overlooking the sea is memorable. What a great family getaway.

We recently stayed at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi and were completely blown away by the extraordinary hospitality. The level of service here is unmatched, and it starts right at the top. A perfect example of this was when the buggy drivers were on a well-deserved break, and the manager himself, Mr. Praba, personally drove us to our room in the buggy. Seeing a manager step in so humbly and directly to take care of guests was incredibly impressive. Mr. Praba’s outstanding leadership clearly reflects in the warmth and high standards of his entire team. It is rare to find a hotel that delivers this level of genuine care.

Enjoyed my stay. Most importantly my kids had fun. Not many resort in langkawi have children pool section, so for Pelangi this is a great bonus for family vacation. Rooms are good, clean, definitely renovated from last i was here. Food is good, room svc is fairly fast. Staff overall are friendly and attentive. Location is convenient, is a long main Cenang road where you can find pretty much everything from food to pharma to whatever. Like to give credits to the resort house keeping team, one of the housekeeper mistakenly took my daughter pillow. It was an honest mistake. Alert them, we had to fly back same day. They apologise profusely. After we got back, they kept me update on the situation, found the pillow and send it back to me, daughter was so happy.

This is a really nice family-friendly hotel and a great option for a relaxing vacation with kids. The farm area where children can interact with animals is wonderful, there’s a fun playroom, and the pool has a dedicated kids’ zone that families will definitely appreciate. The breakfast was decent, although I personally wouldn’t rate it as a strong five-star breakfast. Still, overall the food experience was quite good. The beachfront dinners were especially enjoyable, and the live music every evening created such a lovely atmosphere. The villas are cozy and comfortable. They’re not brand new and could use some refreshing in places, but they are generally well maintained and pleasant to stay in. Another big plus is the location — there are shops, massage salons, and a fantastic rice farming museum nearby, which is absolutely a must-visit. Overall, I wouldn’t call this a “dream hotel,” but at the same time there are no major downsides either. For a family vacation, I would confidently recommend it. The price-to-quality ratio is definitely fair.
