This is our 18th time visiting and the service has been great every time. All the staff are very accommodating and attentive. The pool staff especially have been amazing every time we’ve come down to enjoy a bit of lunch. Teresa always comes to have a chat when we are visiting and is very welcoming. The food at the Pestana is delicious and we love their breakfast selection. The rooms have some areas that need attention ie fridge not working but I’m sure that will be attended to. All in all it’s a lovely package hence us returning so many times 😁

I recently stayed at the Pestana Casino Park Hotel and had a very positive experience. The overall service truly deserves five stars — the staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although they feel more like a solid four-star standard. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety and quality. I also loved the pool bar: the food was delicious and perfect for a relaxed stay. The cocktails, especially the mojitos prepared by Teresa, were outstanding. Her kindness and professionalism made the experience even more special. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would happily recommend.

A perfect location with superb ambience. This hotel exceeded any expectations that I may have had. The location was perfect,as it is within walking distance to the town centre. Along the way, there are beautiful parks and rhe streets are very clean. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, with lovely flowers and trees. To me, this was a tropical haven. Added to that, staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my birthday during my stay there and they added some lovely touches which will make this an ever memorable birthday, and stay at this hotel. It is my intention to return there with friends and family.

Just home after a fabulous stay at the Pestana Casino Hotel with my daughter. Very welcoming staff. Room was great lovely and clean. Only fault was not enough milk for tea and coffee. Plenty of choice with breakfast and evening meal. Good tasty food. Overall the staff were very obliging and helpful. Location is perfect for brilliant views and cruise liners. Short walk to the marina and prominade. Will definately return.

Huge hotel- 3 pools, a spa, loads of rooms, ect. The pools are great, the indoor one particularly is very nice and has nice lighting and jets. Two outdoors which were understandably a little cold in the winter, the rooftop one is cool though. Breakfast was very solid- tons of options, even sparkling wine available! Hot food, waffles, porridge, traditional madeiran stuff, meat and cheese, and pastries, and omelettes. You're spoiled for choice, also great selection of juices. The rooms is what brings a 5 to a 4 mostly, plug sockets that are old, outdated rooms with some things looking a little tired. No smart TV, ect. Complimentary drinks in the fridge were appreciated though! My second gripe is them being such a huge hotel, but having three small elevators. This can make getting up and down a little irritating and crowded. Other than that though, I would say this fits a 4 star hotel objectively for me, it's definitely not the Ritz, and could do with a refurb. Would ultimately recommend though. Location is absolutely a dream being so near to Funchal old town, and the views are good from the balconies!
