I had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa. Located on peaceful Mai Khao Beach, away from busy tourist crowds, the resort is surrounded by lush tropical plants. The beach and pools are amazing, perfect for relaxing and watching sunset. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the golf cart shuttle around the resort is really convenient. Breakfast has plenty of options, both Thai and Western food. It’s close to the airport so travel is easy. I really enjoyed my quiet beach holiday here and would love to come back again.

My husband and I come to Phuket at least once a year since around 2013 and we will stay at Renaissance Mai Khao. The hotel is clean and have a homey feeling. We stayed from 14 Oct to 18 Oct 26. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Although some of the long term staff have left, the level of services still remain at a high level. We are happy to see familiar faces like Khun Num (happy birthday Khun Num), Khun Job, Khun Yo, Khun Sandee, Khun Ning and also the tall staff that helped with our baggage. We joined the free fitness Thai boxing, core lower body and body weight classes conducted by coach Job. Coach Job is patience and he is able to explain and demonstrate the workouts clearly and makes it fun, easy and effective. We had a good workouts and learnt new things. Good job Coach Job. All the staff is so patience when we tried to use our limited Thai language in the conversation; they patiently taught us new words and phrases.(Apology for not getting the staff names at the breakfast tables) We were also given a complimentary set dinner at Takieng, which comprised of beef, curry etc. Unfortunately due to dietary restrictions we have to forego the chance to taste the delicious Thai dishes. One suggestion the hotel may want to consider is to have different options for set dinner or to allow the complimentary dinner to be used at other restaurants within the hotel. Nevertheless we ate dinner at the cafe next to the gym. The chicken salad and salmon sandwich were delicious. The pesto sauce made by the chef was unforgettable. As usual it is a wonderful stay.

I initially chose Renaissance Phuket for its impressive fitness facilities and activities, but what truly made my stay special was the exceptional hospitality! Having stayed at several hotels in Phuket, I can honestly say the warmth and friendliness of the staff here stood out. From Reception and Fitness to the Pool, Spa, Restaurants and Housekeeping, everyone was genuinely welcoming, attentive and always ready to help. The property itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who make this place truly memorable. I felt so well taken care of throughout our stay and would absolutely love to return! ❤️

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Phuket. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. You can really feel that the staff genuinely care about their guests. Everything was great — the room, the hotel, the atmosphere, but the amazing service is what made our stay so special. We felt very well taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. Definitely a place I would love to come back to. Highly recommended!

Located on the quieter side of Phuket, not far from the airport, the resort sits beautifully along the peaceful shores of Mai Khao Beach. The resort has a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, complemented by a vibrant color palette reflected in the staff uniforms and throughout the décor. What I particularly admire is how these lively elements are woven so harmoniously into the surrounding natural landscape. The room is cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, while being impeccably maintained. It feels luxurious yet comfortable, never overwhelming, and blends beautifully with its natural surroundings. What I admire most, is the exceptional service. From my first visit, K. Sandee provided such warm and attentive care that the experience became truly memorable and left a lasting impression on me. On this visit, I was once again warmly welcomed by K. Nuch and K. Aon, whose genuine warmth and attentive service made the check-in experience feel especially special. I would also like to mention K. Nick at the lounge, whose thoughtful service and genuine hospitality made me feel exceptionally well cared for. At breakfast, K.One an K.Gig is very warmth and helpful, the food quality is good and delish. It is difficult to put into words just how impressed I am. Without a doubt, this is the resort that has left the strongest impression on me and the one I would most like to return to in Phuket. Definitely recommend.
