My stay at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas in Abu Dhabi was unexpected, but it became a very memorable experience because of the kindness and hospitality of the hotel staff. Due to a flight cancellation during my transit, I was placed at the hotel for a few days, and from the moment I arrived the team made me feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. The reception staff, especially Remi, Abdul, and Dayana, were incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. They were always calm and reassuring even though the hotel was clearly very busy with many stranded travelers at the same time. I would also like to thank the other staff members whose names I did not manage to get, including the housekeeping team and the staff at Sim Sim restaurant. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attitude made a stressful situation much easier to go through. What could have been a difficult travel experience became something I remember with gratitude because of the care shown by the Saadiyat Rotana team. The level of hospitality was truly impressive, and I really appreciate the effort the staff put into making guests feel comfortable. Thank you again to all the staff for your hard work and kindness. I have been fortunate to travel a great deal, sometimes staying in palaces or major luxury hotels. I am very happy to tell you that you far exceed anything I have experienced before. I do not know enough words to describe the joy and happiness we felt staying in your resort despite the events taking place outside. The staff were always extremely attentive to our well-being and showed great kindness. Everyone kept smiling despite the alerts, the sound of explosions, and the anxiety we experienced. I would also like to highlight the great professionalism of each member of your team. We especially appreciated the exceptional service offered to those who enjoy tranquility at the pool or on the beach: the loungers are extremely comfortable, and the bath towels are so soft that we felt wrapped in a cocoon. On the sports side, we thank you for providing us with a coach who was helpful, kind, and attentive to our wishes. As for food and beverage, although we were on an all-inclusive package, we had the impression of having lunch and dinner in fine bistronomic restaurants. We would like to congratulate all your staff, and these congratulations are also addressed to you as managers. We will come back — that is a promise!

Came with my wife for a relief from work and honestly enjoyed every day. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, the food was tasty and buffets had soo much variety. What made the holiday more fun were the daily activities. There was always something to join like aqua gym, beach volleyball, football tournaments, yoga and even mini golf in the evening. It was a good mix of relaxing and being active. Liza and Anna from the entertainment team were amazing, always smiling and encouraging everyone to take part. They created such a friendly atmosphere and made the experience even better. We would definitely come back again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Saadiyat Rotana Hotel - from February 3rd to 5th, and our experience was truly memorable. The three-night stay was for a wedding celebration, which was exceptionally well organized. Over the course of the event, five functions were hosted across the beautifully maintained lawns and the elegant ballroom. The food was excellent, the décor impressive, and the hospitality outstanding. A special note of gratitude goes to the staff, particularly Director of Rooms Mohammed Baku, Night Manager Ahmad Ali, Security Manager Bertanl Dounia, and their dedicated teams. Their support during a medical emergency involving my daughter was remarkable—their concern, care, and follow-up left us deeply appreciative. It is rare to encounter such genuine attentiveness, and we are truly thankful. The beach property itself, just about five years old, is stunning. But what makes it extraordinary is the people—the staff bring vibrancy and warmth that elevate the experience to another level. For us, Saadiyat Rotana deserves a rating of 7 stars and beyond, as it embodies hospitality at its very best.

Our winter sun break exceeded all expectations. Initially, we had some reservations about travelling to a family resort during the half-term period, but any concerns were quickly dispelled by the hotel’s exceptional comfort and the genuinely warm welcome from the staff. From the moment we arrived, nothing was ever too much trouble and we were able to relax almost immediately. The hotel caters brilliantly for all guests, with plenty of adult-only areas as well as an excellent range of restaurants offering something for every taste, whether you’re a discerning diner or simply looking for relaxed holiday dining. There are a few members of staff who truly deserve a special mention (and apologies if I’ve missed anyone). Arun, who manages the pool bar, was superb. He is a real credit to the hotel—his service was attentive, professional, and consistently excellent, along with the whole team supporting him. They genuinely helped make our holiday feel very special. Lahiru at the Beach Bar and Restaurant also looked after my wife and me wonderfully. The drinks were certainly generous—so much so they had to be treated with due respect! Isaam, who we saw regularly during breakfast and evening service at Sim Sim, was charming and made us feel especially welcome whenever he was working. I’d also like to acknowledge the many other team members who keep everything running so smoothly—from the gardeners to the housekeeping staff. Every one of them greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly hello whenever we passed. A big well done to the entire team. Take care of yourselves during these challenging times in the Middle East—you made our stay truly memorable, and we will miss you.
