We are 3 adults with 2 12yo children and absolutely loved it at the Samui Buri. The location is more local and away from the more touristy spots. The rooms are comfortable and very clean and the staff is super friendly. We initially booked a hotel on Lamai beach but it was nuts there, far more touristy and full of bars so we literally sucked up the full cancellation and moved here. The beach is wonderful with a view of Koh Pha Nangen and there are many local restaurants and an open market within walking distance.

The service was really good, and the staff were super welcoming and friendly the whole time. The beach is beautiful and very calm — perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy some peaceful time. Having a private beach makes it even better. The resort area is well maintained and has a very relaxing vibe. There’s also a gym and a nice restaurant with a big variety of food, so you always have good options. The rooms are spacious and cleaned very well every day. Overall, a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. Would definitely come back! 🌴😊

I had a fantastic stay here. It's a peaceful resort with lovely beach and great staff. Yes the resort is not in it's heyday and the restaurant was a little inconsistent, but for the price this was excellent value. The staff were lovely and my room was huge and comfortable. Lots of cute local restaurants etc nearby. Reception staff, especially Audrey, were super helpful and friendly!

Stay away from this hotel. The staff are extremely disrespectful. During check-out, the receptionist, who was rude and could barely speak English, claimed that a bathrobe was missing and said we had to pay for it. I told her that we had never used the bathrobe from the very first day. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she started shouting at us. We left the hotel because of her unacceptable behavior. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The biggest issue for me was the condition of the room. The plumbing is clearly very old — the sink design is uncomfortable and water pressure is inconsistent. Hot water was barely running, more like a weak stream than an actual shower. On top of that, the air conditioner smelled dirty, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. It made the room feel damp and uncomfortable. For the price they charge, I expected much better maintenance. Overall the management of the hotel seemed to want extra money for every single basic request. Food during breakfast was not fresh and some days vegetables looked even rotten. Impossible to eat them.
