We’re only 5 days into a two week stay at the Sofitel and I’m already inspired to leave this review. This is our second time in Bali but first at the Sofitel, and the quality of facilities, service and friendliness is by far the best. For example, our meal at the Kwee-zeen restaurant was made even more exceptional by the expert and attentive service from Sinta. Our meal at Cucina was also fantastic, where we celebrated our wedding anniversary in style. To be honest all of the staff at the Sofitel go out of their way to ensure we have an enjoyable time no matter where in the resort we are or what time of day it is. While the facilities are immaculate, it really is the staff that have made this holiday so memorable so far. I absolutely love the Sofitel Nusa Dua Resort and Spa. This was our second stay, and once again, we were thoroughly impressed. The resort consistently exceeds our expectations in so many ways. Communication prior to arrival was outstanding—Njila and Timothy were prompt, professional, and attentive in all our correspondence. I especially appreciated being informed about a large, three-day cultural wedding taking place at the resort, along with their assurance that we would be accommodated away from the event to minimize any possible disruption. This was a thoughtful gesture. Although there was a mix-up with my booking, the staff addressed and resolved it immediately upon our arrival, demonstrating their commitment to excellent service. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were promptly escorted to Club Millésime to complete our check-in. We were offered a choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic welcome drinks, setting a pleasant tone for our stay. The check-in process was thorough, providing all the information we needed about the resort and our Platinum benefits. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a pool access room, which ensured a peaceful and private experience throughout our stay. In our room, we also received a handwritten welcome letter, flowers and an assortment of fruit. The rooms are well-appointed and spacious. We stayed for 14 days, and I like to unpack rather than live out of a suitcase. The only drawback was limited storage: about 6 hangers and 2 small drawers. Housekeeping cleaned our room thoroughly each day and was always friendly and accommodating. When my husband felt unwell, our housekeeper checked in to offer help. On a day we used the DND sign, we even received a call to ensure everything was alright. This thoughtful care was exceptional and unlike anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. Breakfast included a variety of Western, local, and Indian dishes. The fresh juices were excellent, and the coffee was very enjoyable. We had dinner each night at either Kwee Zeen, Toya, or Cucina and were consistently impressed with our meals. Both the food and service were excellent. We also attended all the buffet nights and enjoyed the variety offered. The entertainment was enjoyable. However, on Cucina Apericena night, the food and service did not meet expectations, especially the pasta course, which was disappointing. The thoughtful gesture of delivering a birthday cake to our room, along with a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday” from the Cucina team and another cake, made the celebration truly special. These touches were greatly appreciated. We visited Club Millesime several times and enjoyed each visit. The afternoon tea was plentiful and tasty. The evening drinks and canapés were good, with a wide selection of beverages available. The special event night for Accor members was a nice touch and sets this resort apart from others. We had a beachside massage, which was very relaxing and enjoyable. Sofitel Nusa Dua Resort and Spa is our preferred choice when staying in Bali.

This was my fourth visit back to the Sofitel in Bali. This time, we booked a lagoon access room with Club facilities - no disappointment! Was worth the extra spend on the room type. I was travelling with friends who had a lagoon access room two doors down which was fabulous as we would swim to each other's rooms. All rooms at the Sofitel are superbly appointed, spacious, lighting in the room [which is important to me] is perfect and bathrooms are gorgeous! We ate at the hotel and the food in all restaurants is fantastic. We ate breakfast in both the Club restaurant [stunning table service] and other mornings at the main breakfast restaurant Kwee Zeen where the buffet cannot be faulted. Huge selection and thoughtfully laid out in stations! To top it off, the staff at the Sofitel throughout the entire hotel cannot do enough, but most particularly at Club Millesime. Thank you for a stunning, stunning stay!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10 Stars!) We had the most incredible, unforgettable dinner here last night to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday! Honestly, I am completely out of words to describe how perfect it was—they are truly the absolute best. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. The entire experience was seamless from the very beginning. A huge thank you to the fantastic reservation team—especially Anastasya and Kristina, to name a few—who went above and beyond to make sure this special night happened and was perfectly organized. The setting itself is absolutely breathtaking—right by the beach, dining under a stunning night sky. The ambiance alone is magical, but the food blew us away. Every single dish was amazing. What truly made the night flawless, though, was the service at our table. A heartfelt thank you to Darma, our server, who stayed with us throughout the evening just to ensure every single one of our needs was catered to. Her attentiveness and warmth made an already special night feel even more extraordinary. They truly went above and beyond in every possible way. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable birthday celebration! We cannot wait to come back.

Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort – this is what you truly call hospitality, not merely service. We chose to stay here for our final day after quite a bit of travelling, as we wanted to end our trip somewhere a little more relaxing. And without question, the hotel was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. The room, along with all the facilities, was absolutely superb. Once you step into the room, you rather lose the desire to go out again — it was that comfortable and beautifully arranged. We’ve stayed in many excellent hotels across various countries, but Sofitel Nusa Dua felt genuinely different. There was something quite special about it — the sort of place that makes you wish you had booked a few extra nights. We would absolutely love to return and stay a bit longer on our next trip to Bali. A truly memorable experience.
