Understanding that it’s a holiday season, however, very disappointed not getting the room right on time. Check in time was 3pm and we did not get the room until 5pm. We stayed for only a night, we were hoping to really maximize our stay. We were offered lounge access for the afternoon tea, but were hoping to rest after a long morning. We booked room with the pool access, I must say for a 5 star hotel, sound insulation wasn’t the best as I could hear next room’s toilet flush and room door bell that we thought it was ours. We had to open the door couple of times. We had the access to cocktail hour which was probably the positive part for the stay as we are celebrating our birthdays. We’ve mentioned it weeks prior arrival, would be nice to receive a complimentary surprise as we did in another resort. Breakfast buffet was very BUSY! Hubby’s coffee and egg never arrived. Well spread with so many different varieties. Giving 5 star for all the staff - super helpful and friendly, cant fault their service. Not sure if I would like to book Sofitel again from this experience though.

Had a fantastic stay at Sofitel Bali and will absolutely be coming back. The absolute highlight was the butler service. A huge thank you to Bagus and Diah — they were incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every little detail. They actually kept track of our daily schedule and bookings better than we did, which made the whole trip effortless and relaxing. The hotel itself is beautiful and hard to fault. If I had to point out one small area for improvement, it would be the dining options. It would be great to have a few more restaurants to choose from, or perhaps some themed dining events featuring different cuisines to give guests a bit more variety. Overall, a wonderful experience!

My stay at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua was, somewhat inconveniently for someone whose job involves critically evaluating hotels, genuinely exceptional. I unfortunately did not catch the name of the staff member who handled my check-in, but the welcome was outstanding — polished, warm, and remarkably well judged. The room upgrade was equally impressive, and the small surprises prepared each evening were thoughtful without ever feeling excessive or performative. I should also mention the team assisting me via WhatsApp. They consistently went out of their way to help, responding with efficiency, patience, and genuine care. It is surprisingly rare for a hotel to maintain this level of service across so many different points of contact. There is very little for me to criticize here, which is mildly disappointing from a professional point of view. I was entirely satisfied with my stay. For context, I professionally review and write about hotels, and following this stay, I discussed Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua with the editor-in-chief of one of Korea’s leading hotel magazines — a professionally published print magazine distributed through actual bookstores. Beautiful resort, super family friendly and welcoming. The staff are so warm and attentive. The food is fantastic and fresh. The staff treat you like a VIP no matter where you are in the hotel. The resort is so clean and tidy. The staff are always working to ensure the resort looks and feels the best it can. The restaurants are great and the executive lounge is outstanding. The kids club was a highlight for our daughter and the swim up bar was a highlight for happy hour in the sun. Highly recommended.

Checked in to this hotel for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be a very warm and pleasant experience from the moment we arrived. The service was truly top notch. You can expect the best here when it comes to the rooms, the pool, the private beach, and the overall hospitality. The crew was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The check in process was smooth and hassle free, and they were very accommodating with our special requests, which made our stay feel even more special. Everything was well maintained, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the attention to detail made our honeymoon memorable. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway
