  • Alcoholic beverages at selected bars will only be available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish! The property is beautiful, incredibly spacious, and very comfortable. The rooms were exceptionally large, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The suites were also huge and absolutely lovely. What made our experience even more special was the wonderful staff. The reception team, especially Shirley (I hope I got her name right) and Almera, were so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The pool area is spacious, relaxing, and perfect for spending the day. The gentleman at the ice cream stand was very friendly, and we’d also like to thank Swami at the bar area for his kindness and excellent service. A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We loved every single thing about this place and will definitely be coming back again soon!

We stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and get to know Ras Al Khaimah. Amazing experience, facilities and service. Our 5-yr old loved it and enjoyed the time here. Attention at service desk by Elmera was incredible, she was able to accommodate all our requests! We spent an entire day by the pool and the staff was always friendly to our kid and made sure he had fun - Emmanuel was always very attentive and checked on us for anything we wanted. At the breakfast restaurant, the food was really good and they offered many options in the buffet - Thin was always making sure we had what we needed! We also dined at Waka and Reunion, and loved the food and service in both!!!! We had a great time!

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort, Ras Al Khaimah – Our Review We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort, with a fantastic room location, excellent food at Waka and friendly staff. There were, however, a couple of areas where service could be improved. Our Room – Ground-Floor Garden View We stayed in a spacious ground-floor garden-view villa with two queen beds, just steps from the swimming pool, with a patio opening onto a grassed area. We specifically requested a ground-floor room because our son is recovering from knee surgery. Although the hotel was busy and this couldn’t be guaranteed, we were delighted our request was accommodated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and housekeeping was excellent, with a friendly, attentive and proactive team. All-Inclusive Package The drinks selection was very good, and ordering via QR code for delivery directly to your sunbed by the pool or on the beach was a great convenience. Unfortunately, poolside service slowed considerably in the late afternoon, and our drinks orders were missed on a couple of consecutive days. More consistent service during busy periods would make a real difference. Despite this, we felt the all-inclusive package was worthwhile given the drinks and dining options. East Restaurant The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets were fresh, plentiful and offered plenty of choice. Special thanks to the waiting staff Thin, Along, Abishek and Kashif for their positive and warm contribution to our dining experience. Waka Restaurant – Our Favourite Waka was by far our favourite for evening dining, and we also enjoyed it for lunch. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, and the regularly changed three-course menu made for a lovely evening. We highly recommend it. Special thanks to Charlotte, Skyleen and Aye at the Waka front desk for their warm welcome, and to the serving team Vivek, Amadou, Devang, Dora and Thet for their attentive service. Réunion Restaurant – Room for Improvement Although the food was good, the service was disappointingly slow. Our 7:30 pm booking didn’t conclude until dessert arrived at 9:30 pm, and we left immediately afterwards. The experience led us to cancel a subsequent dinner reservation at the restaurant. The bright lighting also made the atmosphere feel more like a canteen than the warm, inviting French brasserie we had expected. Faster service and a more fitting ambience would significantly improve the experience. Overall We had a very enjoyable stay, particularly thanks to our conveniently located villa, excellent housekeeping and Waka’s food and service. While poolside service and the Réunion experience could be improved, we would happily recommend the resort, especially for guests considering the all-inclusive package. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future!

We also enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner at Waka Restaurant. A special thank you to Dora for her warm hospitality, sweet personality, and attentive service. 🥰 The food was fantastic, with a truly top-notch menu! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful family stay at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The private beach was beautiful, with clean, soft sand and crystal-clear water, making it perfect for relaxing and for the kids to enjoy safely. The breakfast was another highlight—an excellent selection of fresh and delicious food with something for everyone in the family. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing family getaway. We will definitely be back!
