Only spent a night so that we could be close to the airport after coming from Ubud for the week. We had come from a 5 star resort so it was hard not to compare to. It's a nice resort, with a big pool/pool bar. We didn't use the restaurant or spa so cannot comment on that. Loved the look of the massive swim up bar though! The staff were attentive and incredibly friendly and the service was great, even preparing a breakfast box for our early morning depart. We stayed in a suite room, and the room was quite dated and just didn't feel overly clean. There was mold through the bottom of the shower. I would say the rooms are 3 star standard. Overall, given the price and location it's not a bad place to stay at all, it's just more of a budget resort.

A Relaxing Boutique Experience Overwhelmed by reception and restaurant staff (we loved them!) — they were so friendly and helpful. Even with interns, the service was fantastic and made our stay even better. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with beautiful traditional accents. The bathroom was modern and charming, though a bit congested, as the doors took up much of the space. The complimentary 10-minute spa session was a lovely bonus and left us wishing it had been longer. The quiet environment made it easy to relax after a day of exploring Sanur.

This was our first hotel after arrival in Bali with our baby, we could not have wished for a better place! The hotel is incredibly beautiful, green and spacious, and all the staff were so friendly and nice! The food was also great, a good menu and a lot of breakfast options. This has been such a great start to our holiday, we directly booked it again for the end of our trip. Highly recommend!

We spent the last three nights before our journey home at the Alantara Hotel, where we booked a one-bedroom pool villa with breakfast included. The villa was beautifully designed, exceptionally spacious, and featured a stunning private pool that made our stay truly special. Breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of options, including hot dishes, fresh fruit, sweet treats, eggs prepared in every imaginable way, and absolutely outstanding coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with several cafés, spas, and local warungs within easy walking distance. In addition, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the city center and back, which made getting around even easier. Overall, Alantara Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a traditional Bali environment, with lush greenery and Bali custom decor then this hotel will address all those needs. This is their home and they are proud to have you as a customer. The service is exceptional, especially Ita, who is very personal, knowledgeable and is interested in you. The hotel is away from the main beach area, however a short free shuttle or cab ride will get you to the beach walk area within 10 mins. If the beach is not for you the pool is very nice and provides for relaxing scenery. The food is outstanding, the included breakfast is plentiful and it provides for all types of appetites. They had special evenings (Valentine dinner, Balanize night) with included entertainment. The only negative would be the rooms, older. We had an issue with a leaky a/c unit when we checked in, something that should have been noticed prior as there was a large pool of water on the floor, however they accommodated us with a quick room change. I would recommend this place for those looking for a quieter nature Bali style accommodation.
