An exceptional, lifetime experience—faultless hospitality from start to finish! Our stay at The Apurva Kempinski Villa 7117 was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment we checked in until the second we left, every small aspect of our stay was looked after with the utmost care, delivering an unmatched family getaway. What touched us the most, and what we are particularly grateful for, was how beautifully the staff looked after my elderly parents. The level of respect, genuine care, and attentiveness shown to them ensured they were entirely comfortable, making our family trip completely seamless and incredibly special. Each and every staff member went completely out of their way to make this a lifetime experience for us. No matter where we were—at villa check-in lounge, dining in the restaurants, passing by in the corridors, riding the buggies, or just walking through the magnificent gardens—everyone greeted us with a genuine, warm smile. A truly special shout-out must go to Bayu at the Villa Lounge, who looked after us so wonderfully throughout our entire stay. He went completely out of his way every single time, and his incredible team was always on standby to seamlessly elevate our experience from good to great. The dining was absolutely delicious across all venues, and the entire resort environment felt incredibly safe, secure, and family-friendly. There was always plenty to do right inside the resort grounds to keep everyone happy. Every single dollar spent here was well worth it for the unforgettable memories we are walking away with. The food was outstanding at every meal, with a fantastic variety of options and consistently excellent quality. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every dining experience exceeded our expectations. What truly sets this resort apart is the hospitality. The hotel is beautiful, the architecture is on another level. The views from the hotel are gorgeous, the staff is lovely, especially Wahyu, Natasha and Nanda who helped me with the check-in process. In such a luxurious hotel there were several things lacking. The mirrors in my room were dirty, the TV remote was barely working, the toilet seat was broken. On the other hand everything else was nice- the room was spacious and beautiful, bed was super comfortable, the private pool was amazing. It is hard to get in touch with hotel’s facilities, particularly, the Spa. I tried calling them from my room more than once, and no one picked up. The reception gave me a Whatsapp contact to get in touch but I couldn’t get a message back for a bit more than two hours. Pool changing rooms and toilets were dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The beds by the pool were occupied by guest’s belongings- while there are signs everywhere that they will be removed in 30 minutes if no one shows up, they were there for very long periods (I left after 4hours and they were still there). Many people were trying to find beds by the pool but no luck because of that. Beach club beds. The waiting time is very long. I came and asked the gentleman working there if I may sit anywhere and if I could order something, he said yes and said he’ll be back with the menu. I was in no rush as I was enjoying the sun but then I noticed I was already waiting for an hour. I moved beds and asked a different waiter if I could get a menu, from there it was okay. Also, they were out of towels. Not relevant to this specific experience, but in the restaurant there, the seafood risotto is really good. Another thing is the departure lounge and gym. Gym is well equipped and very neat. The changing rooms however were dirty with a completely wet floor everywhere even though the facilities are nice. The departure lounge is nothing but a room with black coffee, tea and water. If you want to work there, it might be difficult as the outlets are not in a convenient place. While the hotel itself is truly gorgeous, these little details made the experience somewhat disappointing based on the fact that it’s supposed to be top notch.

The Apurva Kempinski Bali is one of the most architecturally stunning hotels I have ever visited. The arrival experience, grounds and overall design are absolutely beautiful and there is no denying the visual impact of the resort. We stayed in a Cliff Private Pool Junior Suite and the room itself was very nice. Koral was also a highlight of our stay and provided one of the best dining experiences at the resort. However, I feel the hotel falls short when compared with other luxury resorts at a similar price point. We paid close to £500 per night, and for that level of spend I expected a more polished experience. The Club Lounge was good, but it felt more like a restaurant than a lounge. Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. On multiple occasions items listed on the wine menu were unavailable, room service requests took longer than expected, and a laundry enquiry was never followed up despite being promised. None of these issues were major on their own, but together they created an experience that felt less premium than the hotel's reputation and pricing suggest. The room pool was also smaller than expected and not heated, which made it less appealing than other luxury resorts we have visited. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with incredible architecture and some excellent facilities, but I left feeling that the service and overall experience did not quite justify the premium price. I enjoyed my stay, but I would be more likely to try another luxury resort in Bali next time.

Our stay at this resort was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The views were truly breathtaking—every morning felt like waking up in paradise, with stunning scenery in every direction. What made the experience even more special was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home and turned an already beautiful stay into a memorable one. A special highlight was the spa experience with Padma. The service was outstanding, and Padma’s professionalism, skill, and caring nature made it one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating treatments I’ve ever had. It was the perfect way to unwind and truly enjoy my vacation. Between the spectacular views, wonderful service, welcoming staff, and exceptional spa treatment, this resort exceeded all of our expectations. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway.
