Just wrapped up an amazing stay at The Shore at Katathani in Phuket and it truly lived up to the hype. From the moment we booked, everything was smooth and effortless. Their online system for romantic experiences made it so easy to plan special dinners, surprises, and little moments without any stress. The resort itself is stunning, and getting around was super convenient with the golf carts that take you anywhere you need to go. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The beach was super clean, beautiful, and peaceful, perfect for relaxing or watching the sunset. We honestly have zero complaints about the entire stay. The rooms are huge, very private, and each one comes with its own private pool, which made the experience feel even more luxurious and romantic. The food was excellent across the board, but the highlight was the private romantic dinner on the beach. It was a full seven-course experience, beautifully set up right by the water, and absolutely worth every penny. Truly one of the most memorable parts of the trip. If you’re looking for a romantic, stress-free, luxury stay in Phuket, this place is hard to beat.

We chose The Shore at Katathani for our honeymoon and unfortunately our experience did not meet the expectations of a luxury resort. During our stay, we experienced several issues that significantly affected our comfort. There was a rat near the pool balcony area that ate from our food, and we also encountered mosquitoes, insects, geckos on the room curtains, and wasps inside the room lighting fixtures. Despite contacting pest control, the issues continued to reoccur. I also personally informed a housekeeping staff member not to leave the doors open while cleaning because insects were entering the room, but the problem persisted. As a result, we often returned to find mosquitoes and other pests inside the room. My wife and I experienced severe itching during our stay despite using mosquito repellent. In addition, room service was noticeably slow on several occasions. The location, views, and overall setting of the resort are beautiful, which makes the experience even more disappointing. For a property at this price level, we expected much higher standards of comfort, housekeeping procedures, and pest control management. We shared our concerns with the hotel after our stay and appreciated their apology, but unfortunately the overall experience had already impacted what was meant to be a special honeymoon trip

Loved our stay here. We booked the villa in love seaview and the room was absolutely amazing. The view is stunning and it was hard to leave the private pool! Room service was really tasty. The staff was amazing too. The resort is super hilly, but the paths along the ocean are beautiful and a great workout. Breakfast was delicious each day! One piece of feedback i’d offer is to work on the ambience at the restaurants and main pool. Some lighting and music can go a long way.

Amazing experience — truly worth every penny. The adults-only concept makes it very peaceful and perfect for a relaxing stay. The resort is very clean, fresh, and well maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Stayed in Villa 8842, which had a private pool with almost complete privacy (around 99%) and a beautiful view overlooking the beach — definitely one of the highlights. Amenities are excellent and everything feels well thought out, from the rooms to the overall atmosphere. Overall: Highly recommended if you’re looking for a premium, quiet, and relaxing getaway in Phuket.

Loved the service and the room. There's privacy yet it comes with great views of the sea. Room includes a study, a lounge area, a clawfoot bathtub, a balcony with sofa and direct access to the private pool from the room/balcony. The food options are great and our room is so accessible to the gym, the breakfast area, spa and hotel lobby. What I love was the use of the Katathani app, which allows us to message the front desk directly for any requests, including a buggy when it rains, or to take us to a restaurant outside of its premises that is still within the Katathani property.
