We stayed at the hotel for five nights, the Soco house resort Was nice. The bedroom and bathroom look nice and was clean, but I didn’t like that. The bathroom had no outlets. Which was very disappointing because I need to curl my hair every day. Also, I didn’t like that there were no sitting chairs in the bedroom so you had to sit on the bed. And there are no microwaves. The staff was very friendly. The food was mostly good, but the service was a little slow from the kitchen and sometimes I would have to ask a couple of times for the same item. The hostess was amazing and the ambience was great. I had a massage in the oasis spa and the massage therapist which I’m disappointed. I forgot her name, but She did an amazing job.. When we made reservations, we were thinking that the hotel was on the beach and once we got there, I was disappointed to know that it wasn’t on the beach, but the walk to the beach was super quick. Took us about five minutes, which was great. This resort really has a great location. I do not plan to book here again although I will visit St. Lucia again because the place is amazing. But I prefer a larger resort with more options for restaurants because the local house only has one.

Highlights - The food was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t realise before booking that meals are fresh and organic, and we absolutely loved the à la carte style for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. - Portion sizes are on the smaller side and the food can be a little hit or miss, but we didn’t have a bad meal during our stay. - Cocktails were good. Expect simple rather than elaborate and it’s a nice touch that you can take a cool box down to the beach. - The staff are truly wonderful: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference to the overall experience. - The location is fantastic, right in Rodney Bay. There is currently a new hotel being built opposite, which didn’t impact us too much, but it can get noisy. - Rodney Bay itself is lively and busy, often late into the evening, so this is worth bearing in mind however, the hotel itself is very peaceful. Lowlights: - The pool area is very nice, although a few cushions could do with replacing however, not a major issue. - Portions are small, and while food quality is good overall, expectations should be managed if you’re used to a more traditional all-inclusive experience. - The gym and spa were closed for most of our stay. This wasn’t a big issue for us personally, but they shouldn’t be advertised if they’re not available to guests.

This resort definitely needs higher ratings! My husband and I were staying at another “fancier” resort for our honeymoon and got stuck in St. Lucia for an extra week; we found this resort and were nervous due to the overall rating (3.8 stars when we looked) but we decided to try it out and I’m so glad we did! The location is in a very nice area of rodney bay. The resort is not right on the beach, but it is literally a 2 minute walk. The beach is gorgeous and clean with beautiful views. we stayed in the base level room. It was very clean and spacious. There are definitely some improvements that could be made: there is only instant coffee in the room, no coffee maker. The showers don’t close all the way, they just have 2 panels and a completely open side so the bathroom floor literally floods every time you shower. The food was good! We only had one meal that wasn’t good, I got the red snapper at lunch and it was overcooked. But everything else we had was super good! The drinks are strong and yummy! They will give you a cooler to take to the beach and you can bring beer from the resort which is awesome. There is a beautiful pool with lots of cozy lounge chairs. There is a rooftop area that has a beautiful view as well! Lastly, this place is very affordable for st. Lucia. It’s a great value option for an all inclusive! Their staff is wonderful and friendly. We definitely recommend staying here :)

This hotel or motel rather, was contracted with the airline who accepted a voucher for a nights stay due to an airline maintenance issue. Now I must say, the staff was very professional, courteous and efficient. They were prepared for us as they had to deal with multiple bus loads of tired, hungry, annoyed, frustrated people that couldn't get home. However, this hotel is poorly designed and dated. All rooms face the center courtyard area where the pool and bar is and boy oh boy is it loud. I guess people were drinking their frustrations way while I wanted to sleep lol. So, just know what to expect with pool/bar facing rooms. I mean you can hear the blender from the bartender crafting drinks lol. However, outside bar did shut down at 10pm and it was fairly quiet after that. Rooms itself were "ok", not the greatest. Very minimal towels, not plentiful. Its a very small space, looks like they were painted/somewhat updated but you can tell its an older property. Oh, cracks in door so be prepared for creepy crawls to sneak in. But, bed was surprisingly comfortable and pillows were nice and fluffy. I can't speak to the food as I ate off property. I looked at dinner menu and it was a fixed menu. This was my experience for one night and It was what it was, courtesy of the airline. However, I would not personally choose to stay here. I can say if I had to do another night in beautiful St. Lucia due to delay, i would have spent my own money to go elsewhere. This is a super budget friendly hotel/motel. I say again, amazing, friendly staff!

We had an awesome time here, from the moment we got there to the time we left. Staff were all fabulous, really friendly and went out their way to look after us well. Food was good and there are plenty of local restaurants if you fancy a change. Yes the bars do close early, but if you look after the staff - they look after you, we had many late nights. We had an amazing time and would absolutely go back, so don't listen to the keyboard warriors.
