The hotel is really nice and new. Breakfast is great had a really nice spread and tasty. Staff is attentive and helpful. Lahiru and Randimal was fully supportive and really helpful. Prasad and Devine were really nice as well and Informed all about shops and places around. Hotel is superb. Food is great. Pools are nice. Beach is clean and blue.

The hotel was perfect, we loved the interior design, the cleanliness, the staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful, everything we needed was answered with a smile and kindness. The rooms were big and clean, and were cleaned twice a day. The beautiful Barbarons beach is just outside the hotel, it’s less than a minute walk from any room in the hotel. A lot of opportunities for water sports, kayaking, SUP, snorkelling when ocean conditions allow, and Andrew the water sport manager was super cool and very helpful. After a week stay we felt sad to leave, wishing we could have stayed a bit longer.

Staying at this 4 star hotel is a great experience so far. The location, amenities and services are perfect for a short stay especially if you are looking for a destination to relax and chill away from the noise of big hotels! We always have our meals at the PTI Bazar, the food is great and the staff are so kind and helpful especially Shaker, cannun and other staff! When considering staying in this hotel i recommend bringing your snorkeling equipment and aqua/reef shoes, the beach is covered with beautiful collectible shells and corals. The premises has lots of free activities so give it the time and enjoy the ambiance!

Avani+ is a beautifully location hotel. You have good beach at the back and very nice scenic views. Food is good and if bed and breakfast offers is opted breakfast is complimentary and really nice. Atmosphere is calm, you have pool available and a good lounge and dining place. Rooms are very neatly managed, staff is good and the best thing I liked is the Hand Showers availability which is a big convenience.

Had an amazing couple of days at the Avani hotel in Seychells. Travelled as a group of 6 friends to celebrate a birthday. The hotel gave us lovely rooms and helped with the cake/decorations for the celebrators. Furthermore, we have booked for some massages which were done by Jessica. She was incredible. Her technique was so good, it was exactly what my skin/body needed. The hotel recently underwent a vast renovations everything feels very clean and modern. The hotel has a decent gym (as far as usual hotel gyms are concerned!) Wish we were staying here for longer!

Me and my husband were driving past the hotel yesterday afternoon and I saw the Indian restaurant board outside. Since my wife is vegetarian, we decided to go in. Inside at the reception we were greeted by Ms. Nexi Dennis who very cordially escorted us to the Indian restaurant where we met Mr. Pradeep and his team Anil and Upendra. Pradeep took our order and the chef Nawas prepared the perfect dal & naan for us. The food was perfect and really fulfilling. After the hearty meal we left and at the reception we again met Ms. Nexi and also Mr. Prem and Tikaram. Had a brief chit chat with the team and left for our hotel. Overall an exceptional and warm experience worth remembering.

PFM Award show at Beau Vallon Bay was just amazing. The staff were super welcoming accomodative and in all made with evening a magical experience. Our stay at the Resort has been brilliant. From the food to the Management, house keeping, pool area , all were accepttional. They took care of every need from dietary requirements, to our drinks etc. We had the opportunity of meeting the GM, his Assistant Head Prem Singh and Nexi ax well were great. Raj the pool boy was at our beck and call. Tikaram, security supervisor was also very accommodating. Thank you Rijal Tacob, for your hospitality. Please convey our thanks and gratitude to the team. I have stayed in the Berjaya for 6 nights. Never have i stayed in such a bad hotel! It is such a shame because Mahe is soo beautifull but getting back to this hotel everyday really destroys the good mood. It really downgraded the overal experience we had. It started that we got standard rooms instead of the superior rooms we booked. According to the front desk Manager an upgrade to the chalets. Well if this is an upgrade... tiles loose, mold in the bathroom, very dark and not enough lights. After asking many times we finally got the superior room. Much better but every day we had to ask for towels since they would not leave them after cleaning. Curtains out of the rail which is not fixed. Light bulbs broken and not fixed etc. We had halfboard. This was including the chinese restaurant and pizzeria, however so many rules in order to be able to have dinner there that we mostly have paid for our meals. Next time i would rather pay a bit more and have a good stay!

We recently spent a wonderful vacation at this luxurious hotel. During our stay we also got married on a beach of the Seychelles. The entire hotel team supported us during this special time and made our wedding day even more memorable. We felt truly happy and very well taken care of. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were especially impressed by Regan (from Tanzania) from the Corossol restaurant, whose attentiveness, kindness and thoughtful conversations always brightened our day. Also a special mention to Valeria (from Italy) from the reception, whose friendly attitude and big smile immediately made us feel at home. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. The hotel’s two beaches are incredibly beautiful, and the surrounding hiking trails are fantastic. There are diverse sports activities offered, adding even more enjoyment to our stay. Throughout the entire property, there is a soothing and relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. We definitely hope to return — this place has captured our hearts!

We arrived at the hotel earlier than check in. We were given refreshing drinks and a guide to tell us about the hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. When our room was ready, we were taken by shuttle to it and shown around. We had lunch in one of the 5 restaurants, where the food was excellent and delicious. We tried all of the restaurants during our stay and I have to say, the service was 1st class. There was a wide variety at breakfast and plenty of seating in a gorgeous setting. The hotel gives you access to 2 beautiful beaches and there are water sports available too. Excursion services are available both internally and externally of the hotel, which we used and found to be superb. The main enjoyment for us were the friendliness of the staff. They were all exceptional be it the Reception, restaurants, shuttle and spa. In particular, Tasiana and Peter from Seselwa restaurant went above and beyond to make our time memorable. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Our stay here was truly exceptional. Knowing about my sensitivity to mosquitoes, the staff kindly upgraded our room and even had it treated every day. Despite the hotel being large and busy, it remained peaceful, quiet, and very safe. The food at the hotel’s various restaurants was delicious—especially at Helios, where Terry took wonderful care of us. Overall, the staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and warm. I would also like to mention Dr. Anel, who was there as a replacement doctor. He is truly outstanding. His quick and effective care, expertise, attentiveness, and kind manner made us feel completely safe. I am deeply grateful to him. Muchisimas gracias! During our one-week stay, we were impressed by how generous the hotel was. The medication provided by the doctor, mosquito sprays, and many of the spa, water and fitness activities were offered free of charge—showing just how much they value their guests. In conclusion, staying here was absolutely worth it, and it is a hotel I can wholeheartedly recommend with complete confidence.

We have just returned home from our honeymoon at The Constance Ephelia, Seychelles and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We arrived late and had a few issues with check in due to there being a new system in place, however in the days that followed the entire team from management to staff could not do enough for us. It is a large resort with two beach areas one very quiet and the other a little more lively with water sports and snorkelling etc. Although large it is very easy to get about as there are large golf type buggies that constantly drive around to take you anywhere you want to go. Our room was a Senior Suite and again is to be recommended, being very large and open plan with a sitting room area as well as a large balcony with very comfortable furniture immaculately clean and serviced twice a day. The resort is very well laid out and although a little confusing to start with we were given a guided tour so we could get our bearings (thank you to Cindy for this). The restaurants were all superb, with the food always of a consistently high standard with a great deal of choice. The staff in all areas of the hotel go to great lengths to make you welcome and the customer service is second to none with all the staff remembering our names wherever we went. We like peace and quiet so went to one of the pools that was aptly calked the Quiet Pool, plenty of comfortable sunbeds never had to worry about getting a spot, fresh crisp towels daily too. The snorkelling from the beach was great so many different varieties of fish with all of the equipment included. We also tried paddle boarding, again included, which was great fun on the crystal clear water. The staff at the Boathouse were very accommodating and there to show you what to do - all of the equipment is of a very high standard and clean. The beaches are nothing short of breathtaking and at first you think there are no sunbeds but they are very cleverly positioned in amongst the palm trees so the view always remains unspoilt, but you can still lay looking out at the ocean. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our honeymoon so incredible 🥰

Constance Lemuria is quite possibly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! The views are absolutely breathtaking - whether you’re having breakfast overlooking the ocean, swimming in the pool with a view of the turquoise bay, walking down to Anse Georgette, sipping a fresh and delicious smoothie on the beach, or exploring the resort’s scenic viewpoints. It’s the kind of beauty you never get used to! The resort feels spacious and serene - everything is spread out, so there’s no sense of crowding or noise. It’s an ideal place for couples seeking a perfect romantic getaway. The staff is incredible and truly goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. When our luggage didn’t arrive on the flight from Mahé, the team stayed in close contact with Air Seychelles and personally delivered our bags to our room as soon as they arrived. The restaurants are top-notch, with creative options for vegans and guests with dietary sensitivities (like lactose intolerance). If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be the spa - it’s relatively small and offers fewer facilities compared to other Constance properties, such as Ephelia. Expanding it would make the experience even more perfect. In summary: this place is pure paradise. ⭐️ Constance Lemuria is highly, highly recommended!

I spent many days, weeks, and months trying to find the PERFECT property to celebrate my honeymoon. I meticulously searched probably every luxury property that there is, and the minute I saw a video of this gorgeous hotel, I KNEW that this was the one. What I didn’t expect, however, were that photos and videos absolutely do not do this incredible place justice. The entire grounds are completely stunning, and so perfectly fit the laid-back vibe of Praslin. From the pools, to the gorgeous views from some of the restaurants, to what I genuinely still believe is the most under-rated beach in the entire Seychelles on-site (and trust me, we saw it all across Mahe/Praslin/La Digue!). Definitely visit Anse Georgette which is accessible inside the property BUT in all honesty, their on-site beach is just as laid back and spectacular - not to mention with all the amenities accessible to you. That leads me to the second thing that the photos cannot show you - the staff. Each member of the team, from reception (shotout to our incredible Italian host, Sara!) to the amazing staff at each restaurant to even the most meticulous turn-down service we’ve ever experienced in the rooms! The room itself was lovely, and we simply had the most amazing time. Definitely do the dinner “on the rocks” if you can, as well as the incredible food at Diva. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - thank you for making our honeymoon so perfect!

Constance Lemuria is the closest place I have ever been to paradise. The scenery is unbelievable, with beautiful beaches surrounding the hotel and a swimming pool fully integrated into the environment. The quality of the cuisine at the hotel deserves special mention—Chef Jordi and the whole team are clearly doing an amazing job; everything was delicious. The service is outstanding. The staff everywhere are attentive and super friendly, always with a smile on their faces (special mention to Arvind at the pool bar, Sara at reception, Elisabeth and her colleague at the Spa, and Paul at the beach club, among many others we are surely forgetting). We feel very privileged to have spent a couple of days here. We hope to come back soon!

Amazing beaches, amazing food with lots of variety, fantastic rooms, wonderful spa… this is paradise. They are so organized in this hotel that we were extremely surprised, as soon as you enter the premises of the hotel upon arrival they kick off a choreo in the background that is subtle, but shows how organized they are, it’s amazing. And once you enter the main building for the first time it’s such a wow-moment… every morning we sat at breakfast and couldn’t grasp how beautiful this hotel is - this is the best of Seychelles, we are coming back

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel is spotless, the service is outstanding, and the overall atmosphere is truly enjoyable. A special mention goes to Shihan, who was exceptional throughout our entire stay. Always present, always smiling, and always ready to help — even with our smallest questions. He took care of us with incredible attention, always at the right moment and always with genuine kindness. We were pretty demanding (and sometimes a bit annoying 😅), but he remained flawless from beginning to end. I genuinely recommend that everyone go through him — he really makes a difference, and he’s a big reason why we loved our stay so much. We’ll definitely be coming back, because we truly adored the experience. Anyone coming here should definitely request Shihan, his service is outstanding.

We were absolutely delighted with the hotel and the overall service. I can’t express enough how kind and genuinely helpful the staff are - not the fake kind of polite, but truly warm and caring people who are always ready to assist with anything you need. The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided every day as well. The hotel also offers beach towels you can use daily, and complimentary bottled water is provided every day too. We were really impressed with everything. As for breakfast, the food is perfectly good and the selection is quite decent. Overall, we are extremely satisfied and would definitely come back!

After booking the hotel, I started reading more reviews in detail and came across comments about an ongoing renovation, which many people found unbearable. Since I still had a few weeks before my stay, I wrote to the hotel and asked for a room as far as possible from the construction noise. In reality, my wife, daughter, and I only spent time in the room between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m., while all the renovation work (by the way, now in the last block) finished around 5–6 p.m. Perhaps for those who enjoy relaxing by the pool this could have been disturbing, but for us the beach was far more enjoyable and spacious, so the noise didn’t bother us at all. As for the hotel itself – it is very nice, comfortable, with renovated rooms (note that the double and triple rooms are the same size unless you book a two-room option), a decent bathroom, good housekeeping service, and in my case a very quiet location with a mountain view. Sleeping in our room was extremely comfortable – firstly, the bed and pillows were of high quality, and secondly, the silence was perfect. A big “thank you” to the administration for giving us room 430. There were some moments at the beginning of our stay when loud music from the beach area was really annoying, but after a few days of getting to know the island, it all made sense: locals truly love loud music everywhere – in their cars, while walking, and especially during weekends on the beach. So be prepared for loud beats on weekends – it gets very intense. :) Restaurants: we visited two – the main buffet restaurant and the Ocean Deck Bar. Breakfasts at the main restaurant were very decent and tasty. It’s not European-style, but everything was good, fresh, and plentiful. Staff: they do their job well and treat every guest with respect. The beach: you are right in the center of one of the most comfortable beaches on the island. In the evening, we even saw wide fins of stingrays approaching after dusk and flying fish jumping out of the water.

Nice hotel in good shape on Mahe. Cool infinity pool, spacious, clean rooms. Good food (breakfast and dinner). Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Special thanks to Jordan of the service team. Very friendly, super fast service and accommodating. Beach is ok - there are better one's in Seychelles. And, some more sun-beds on the beach would be nice. Or simply remove towels from supposedly 'reserved' sun-beds where people do not show-up for hours.

We stayed here as a family with our 4-month-old baby and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming experience. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so at ease. A special thank-you to Joy, who makes the best omelettes every morning, and Nile, who was always so attentive with drinks and making sure we were comfortable. All the staff were genuinely kind and really sweet with our baby, which meant a lot to us. The rooms were kept clean to a good standard and the beach was literally right on our doorstep. Definitely take a walk up to the rocks – the view is amazing from there. The food was great too, with a different theme each night, so there was always something new to try. We didn’t venture out much during our stay — it really felt like the perfect place to unwind. If you’re looking for a relaxing, easy holiday where you can just switch off and enjoy the surroundings, this is ideal. We left feeling like we’d been part of a lovely little community.

We had been here in November 2025. We had opted for an all inclusive package. The location of the hotel is very scenic. The beach is clean and private, swimming in the ocean is a joy here. The room (303) was standard, but the view was fantastic. Views of sunrise on the ocean everyday. One of the double sinks in the bathroom was leaking below, so we just didn't use that. The complimentary toilet products were of a good quality. We had been there for a special occasion, and the room was made up especially well for that day. The breakfast buffet is extensive and tasty. The lunch menu is ala carte, and has great options. The restaurant staff were very courteous and attentive. They sat us at a well decorated table at dinner for the special occasion. The wifi was good in the rooms. That's about all the plus points for this hotel. The drinks served were watered down and just filled with ice. The cocktails had absolutely no alcohol in them. Special mention of Mr. Binay, restaurant manager, who is an expert at sweet talking, but forgets to put expensive ingredients and alcohol in ALL the drinks he makes. The food at dinner buffet was quite salty, and even though there were many dishes, we could not eat well because of the amount of salt in each one. The staff reception are attentive and courteous on arrival, but cool down quickly, and barely get the job done by check out time. They did not even help us with our luggage. Forget about trying for a late checkout. It's a flat no. They were so abrupt in refusing us, that we cancelled a spa appointment we had booked. We will definitely NOT be staying at this hotel again.

The beach is like from the advertisement. The staff has been friendly and helpful, especially Tolera. I also enjoyed visiting the gym every morning with the panoramic ocean view. We, a family of five, stayed here for our vacation in October and overall had a very pleasant experience, though with a few inconsistencies. The positives The hotel features a beautiful pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and the beach just below is stunning and calm, with some opportunities for snorkeling (though the current can be a bit strong at times). The gym is decently equipped for a resort — free weights, a bench, and a few cardio machines. The rooms are spacious, modern, and of high standard, with a wonderful ocean view. The in-room coffee machine, quality toiletries, and clean towels added to a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the restaurant area is large and pleasant. Staff were consistently friendly and service-minded, and they genuinely tried to make things right whenever something went wrong. Areas for improvement The hotel is not new so there are some small details that could require some touch up to complete the aesthetics of the place, nothing serious though. The food quality was quite uneven. During our five dinners, the buffet was good on three occasions but disappointing on the others. Meals ordered from the kids’ menu took a long time to arrive, which made it difficult for families to eat together. One evening, the hotel hosted a live band in the restaurant, but the volume was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation. My recommendation would be to book breakfast only and then choose dinners based on the evening menu, or try nearby options. There’s a nice, simple pizzeria/local restaurant just across the road from the hotel that’s well worth a visit. During our stay, one of the two elevators was out of order, the other also had some intermittent problem. Not an issue for us, but it could be problematic for guests with limited mobility. It’s also worth noting that while the pool area is peaceful and relaxing most of the time, it changes noticeably during weekends. The hotel seems to welcome local day visitors then, often families with children, which makes the atmosphere livelier and noisier. The rather strict pool rules are not really enforced, so if you’re looking for quiet reading time by the pool, the beach might be a better option on weekends. Summary Hilton DoubleTree Mahé offers beautiful surroundings, high-quality rooms, and an excellent breakfast, supported by a genuinely caring staff. For a relaxing stay, we recommend enjoying the facilities during weekdays, booking breakfast only, and some nights exploring dining alternatives outside the hotel.

We had a wonderful and exciting 7days long stay at Kempinski resort. Dining experience both at Windsong Beach Restaurant and Cafe Lazare was amazing. We went here summer 2025 and I have been meaning to write a review. The hotel was lovely and as soon as you arrive there are staff to welcome you. The view is amazing as you walk into the main reception - you can see out to the ocean and it just feels like you have really arrived to relax and reset. All the food was really nice but I wish there was a little more during the buffets in the evening. The breakfast buffet was great and I enjoyed that the most. All the staff were really friendly and the rooms were well kept and clean. It wasn't as glam as I thought Kempinski would be but it was still very nice. The Seychelles is a beautiful place - I would love to go again.

Even before our arrival, we have already experienced a level of service from Kempinski Seychelles Resort that falls far short of what we expect from a luxury hotel. We are traveling as a group of six adults and two children, and my wife and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary — a very meaningful occasion for our family. We always choose 5-star hotels as a minimum, so we are well aware of the standards that typically come with this category. That makes the disappointing pre-arrival communication even more surprising. Instead of a warm and welcoming message, we received a generic, sales-focused email offering only paid add-ons and upgrades, with no personal touch and no acknowledgment of our special occasion. Most high-end hotels naturally recognize such details and make an effort to create a personalized experience for their guests. Unfortunately, this has not been the case here. What makes this situation even more concerning is that the overall tone and attitude in the communication gave us the uncomfortable impression that certain nationalities or guests might be treated differently. We sincerely hope this is not the case, because such an approach would be extremely disappointing — especially in a luxury hotel, where every guest, regardless of nationality or skin color, should be treated with equal respect and at the highest standard. Good hospitality should begin long before check-in, yet the communication so far has left a very poor impression. I sincerely hope the actual stay will be better, but at this moment, the level of guest care does not align with what one would expect from Kempinski or from a hotel in this price range.

This really was paradise!! What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary!! Beautiful grounds, amenities, and beaches. Big standouts were Dino and Tamara at the bar and Karthick in Cafe Lazare!! They went out of their way to provide outstanding service!! Will definitely return to Kempinski on our next visit to the Seychelles!

Positives: the room is stunning and bed is extremely comfortable. The beach it's on is picturesque and lovely. Housekeeping are lovely. Negatives: horrible customer service. Initially I made the reservation through booking.com. They weren't able to run my card for some reason so I called, emailed, messaged through booking to get them to send me a payment link and I heard back nothing. Eventually the hotel canceled my reservation and refused to reinstate it with booking.com. They told me over the phone to talk to the reception when I arrived and they would help. They didn't.. the manager basically laughed at me and I ultimately lost thousands of points on my membership. No one seemed to care. The water in the room is gross. It comes out yellow from the tap. The pool was closed for renovation. No prior notice was given about this but I guess it's a business and they don't care so long as they've got the booking so kudos to them on that. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options but wait staff are quite rude. I don't expect nor want people to smile blindly at me but they were closed off and unapproachable. I felt like I was almost bothering them when I asked for a coffee or asked the egg station to make me an omelet. Also, the chicken sausage was raw and pink inside.. 2 days in a row. Ew. Also there's horrible drilling noises in the rooms. I guess they're renovating? Which yeah, fine, I imagine they have to do that to keep the place up to date, but it's annoying that I paid a lot of money to relax and I'm hearing construction while trying to take a nap in my room. There's air condition in the room but it's not actually cold in the room. It's fine. It's a great property but at the price they expect, I would imagine they sort out the minutiae above.

We stayed at the Savoy Hotel in Seychelles and had an exceptional experience thanks to the receptionist, Abdelfattah. He was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, he treated us with genuine care, almost as if we were part of his own family. Any time we needed help, whether it was recommendations . he was the one who made everything effortless. His support made our stay smoother and so much more enjoyable. If anyone is visiting Mahé Seychelles and staying at the Savoy, I highly recommend reaching out to him for any assistance. He is dedicated, helpful, and goes above and beyond for guests. A true gem at the hotel was Pescado restaurant is a next level I recommend to order seafood selection and you wont regret it!!🤤 Thank you, Abdelfattah, for making our trip unforgettable.

We went for 4days to Praslin in 4stars hotel - beach amazing, staff amazing, room clean and fresh. We come here to Savoy 5stars hotel - most of the managers are russians, which doesnt bring any authentic feeling. Room 1104- the bathroom is a bit disgusting -the shower is next to the clothes section and all the steam goes to your clothes… Second there is some leak going around(you can see on the picture). The 5star experience comes when you switch on the AC, the room smells like humid and mold… I felt really bad sleeping here. There is nothing on which you can out wet swimwear…The beach is nothing Seychelles experience and there is barely any shade with the sunbeds. The hotel is mainly with russians, who think are the creme de la creme of the world and super disrespectful. Breakfast - pork with mushrooms, barsh soup- barely any normal choices. The only positive thing is the few local staff. I hope they pay them well. Please don’t make the mistake we did by coming here - our holiday is ruinied by this place.

I was received by a gentleman namedf Abdul Fattah, from the moment I arrived the welcoming which we received was exceptional, I was treated with a level of warmth and professionalism that made me feel like absolute royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make every part of my stay exceptional. Check-in was seamless, and I was personally escorted to my room with genuine care and attention. The room was immaculate, beautifully prepared, and filled with thoughtful touches that made me feel truly valued. Every request I made—big or small—was met with a smile and handled immediately. The hospitality was not just excellent; it was personal. What stood out the most was how the staff anticipated my needs before I even mentioned them. Whether it was dining, housekeeping, or concierge services, each interaction reinforced the feeling that I was their top priority. I left feeling pampered, appreciated, and refreshed. We stayed here for our last 4 nights of our honeymoon, and we were not disappointed! The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, bed comfy and just felt spacious and luxurious. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Brigitte at reception. The food was mostly good, at the Gecko bar and Pescado was delicious, the buffet at the Grand Savoy could be a little hit or miss. I also had an intensive hydration facial at the spa and it was heaven!! Lin was brilliant, the right pressure on the massage and she was so lovely and friendly!! Best spa treatment I've ever received. The beach itself at Beau Vallon, just Infront of the hotel is beautiful, with lovely sunsets. Overall we were extremely happy with the end of our honeymoon!

The kids’ club is outstanding – truly one of the best we’ve come across. It’s well-organized, creative, and gives parents a real chance to relax while the children are happily entertained. If your budget allows, we highly recommend booking a beachfront villa. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves and stepping outside to that stunning turquoise view is an experience that takes your stay to the next level. It’s worth every cent. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with children, this resort is a hidden gem. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Absolutely gorgeous beach and forest. You basically pay for the views as the hotel’s facilities are a bit dated. Staff are all friendly and attentive but practically all activities are charged extra. Breakfast is repetitive. Good for a stopover during island hopping but staying do more than 4/5 days will probably bore you.

The best resort I've ever had the pleasure of staying in (and I've been fortunate to travel all over the world). The location is spectacular. The staff are fantastic. Special mentions to Muthoni, Nisanth and Boniface. Also the legend that does the omelettes for breakfast needs a pay rise (I cant remember his name!). The nice man who looks after the tortoises is also brilliant. The food is mostly excellent. Some of it is average but that is the exception. Portions in Sakura are far too large. Four Degrees is the best. This resort is exceedingly expensive, however. Expect to pay £2500+ a week for an average couple just on food and drink. The cost of the ferry is not justifiable and management must know they are exploiting people. Finally, the diving was very good. Sadly, the dive centre leaves a lot to be desired. The staff are largely very unfriendly. There is a lovely South African lady and younger German man but sadly the rest are uninterested. The diving is very expensive and the service received does not match the money paid. The dives felt rushed and there was a lack of emphasis on the environment and marine life. Room for improvement but not a lost cause as we still had a great time. Please stay here if you ever get the chance but don't be stung by the final bill. To have a good two weeks as a couple, do some activities and not worry about how much you eat or drink, expect to pay £10,000 all in. The service charge and tax added on drives the cost up considerably. Thank you Hilton, please look after your staff as they are phenomenal, but most importantly keep up your stewardship of what is one of the most paradisial islands on the planet.

My spouse and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this beautiful resort. The entire stay was a truly memorable experience worth leaving a few comments as review. To begin with, this isn't just a hotel - it’s a not too big group of villas, nestled on an island that is like a paradise. Throughout our stay, we genuinely felt welcomed and everything was handled very smoothly. We were especially happy about the efforts for environment. We saw zero single-use plastic bottles during our entire stay. Drinking water was provided exclusively in reusable, sterilised glass bottles, and drinking water was easily available in resort. We were also enjoying the dedication and warmth of the staff. We wanted to specifically recognize a few individuals who ensured our celebration was not just special, but genuinely unforgettable. Starting with Saiful, who took such impeccable care of our villa. His diligence and attention to detail ensured that our private space felt fresh every day. Our hike to lovely Anse Mondon was guided by Eli. His expertise and helpfulness during our hiking trip were invaluable, making our excursion both safe and wonderfully enriching. He helped us explore the stunning natural beauty around the resort with confidence and ease. And finally, we want to give our praise to Charles and Naveen among others in the restaurants of the resort. They were the heart of our dining experience. Their exceptional service, attentive presence, and genuinely charming hospitality elevated every meal, turning our anniversary dinners into truly joyful and memorable events. They went above and beyond to make our celebration feel personal and delightful. Only minor point of constructive feedback concerns the Papaya Lounge. We were looking forward to the promised daily selection of fresh baked sweets, but the counter was sadly unstocked and empty during our entire stay. It's a small detail, but ensuring this advertised amenity is consistently available would elevate the experience for guests that are leaving the resort, and that being one of the last moments to experience the hospitality of the lovely place. All in all, thanks to the combined efforts of Eli, Saiful, Charles and Naveen, our 25th anniversary celebrations was everything we could have dreamed of and more. If you are seeking a truly lovely escape that allows you to fully relax and enjoy the wonders of nature, we highly recommend.

Okay so here is everything I wish knew before going and how to make the most of your money if you want to go to paradise but are not loaded. Get ready for some hot tipssss 1. Get the beach front villa. Just do it. Close your eyes and hit pay. It will be the best 100 euros you will ever spend. Waking up, opening your eyes and from bed seeing the ocean and white sand totally makes the experience. The beach is beautiful and perfect for swimming. We didn't go to the pool once, because the beach is that nice. Soft sand, transparent water and even fishes for snorkeling, all two steps from your comfy villa with a nice living room, terrace and amazing bathroom. Trust me, it doesnt make sense not to book it. Okay now here are all the ways in which you make back the extra money you spent on the room: 1. Don't get the meal plans. It's too expensive. Instead bring your own snacks. You have a kettle and a fridge in your room. Use it! We brought cup nooddles, bread, cheese, cookies etc. You also have a coffee machine in your room and you get coffee capsules for it. 2. Breakfast is probably the best spread I have ever seen. They have freshly pressed juices, all the breakfast foods you can imagine, including fresh fruits, plant based and gluten free options and even curries. With the breakfast plus your snacks you can totally make it till dinner without spending any extra money. 3. For dinner you have two options: get food in one of the restaurants, around 400 rupees for a main dish, or walk to the take out in the guest house outside the hotel and get a takeaway for 100 rupees. We had dinner at the restaurants. The portions are decently sized. You will definitely be full with just a main dish. You get free sparkling or normal water in all the restaurants, so just budget for a main and the tip and you'll be fine. The food is tasty, probably the best we had while in the Seychelles (which is not saying much as the food in the islands is not the best, but here it's good). 4. Buy your own snorkeling mask before coming to the Seychelles. They are expensive here. And it's totally worth the hassle carrying them as you can use them in many places 5. There's free water by the pool and spa and you get two free bottles in your room every day. So no need to spend money on drinks 6. The spa has a jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna and a cold pool you can use for free. It's very nice, specially on rainy days. 7. You can get bikes for free every day from 7am. But the hotel is not so big that they are worth the hassle of having to return them before 6pm. I wish they would just assign every room two bikes. Would make more sense. 8. The one thing that is ridiculously overpriced and there's no way around it is the ferry transfer. If you find a way to get around paying it, let me know :). It's basically a hidden fee. 9. If you want to see some of the island's interior, there are hikes you can do. But they are actually very tough, the heat and humidity makes hiking up the mountain exhausting. Plus the weather is unpredictable so it can rain anytime, in which case paths get very slippery and your progress becomes slow. We had to turn around on our hike to Anse Mondon for this reason. The hotel staff will try to talk you out of doing one of the longer hikes by yourself - they might have a point. The hotel also offers a guided hike each day, when we were there it was Mondays to Anse Mondon and Fridays to Grande Barbe, among others. It's not cheap though, you can find the prices and available hikes on their website. We talked to guests who did the easy hike on their own and they said it was fine. You can give the medium level one a shot on your own and always turn around if the weather is not on your side. Overall I think it's totally worth the money and probably one of the best value to price accomodations in the Seychelles. The rooms could use a bit of maintenance and modernizing but they are in great shape overall. AC works like a charm and rooms are big and comfortable. If I had the money I would totally come back again!

Nice large resort with plenty of space to walk around. There are three pools, including a kids’ pool with water slides that children absolutely loved. The beach is beautiful to look at, but the sea is too rough for swimming. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The kids and teens clubs were great, with lots of activities. Adults’ activities felt limited in the evenings, but overall it’s a good family-friendly hotel, especially considering the price.

It was a wonderful stay at Shangri-la Hambantota. We loved the variety of meal options, the children friendly pool with activities and specially the flying trapeze was a great adventure! The lovely crew of the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. We had a great time for two whole days and it definitely was worth the travel. Kids were able to engage in many activities and it was outstanding because they were never left out when adults were relaxing. Beach views, aesthetic swings, romantic ambience along with a polite and lovely crew made the stay magical!! Would love to visit again for the next holidays! Thank you.

What to say ! So far the best experience l've ever had. The location, hospitality, staff foods everything is just overwhelming. The only bad thing I noticed is the resort is too big to visit with in a day 😉, so guys if you're visiting here make sure to book at least two nights. It consists of a vast, elegant golf course, 3 pools including one adult pool, one kids pool and one common pool and small water park too. Apart from those they got plenty of other activities to do, like Zip line, cycling, cricket, volleyball, football, etc. Apart from all those, they have recreated a look of an old village of Sri Lanka, called Kadamandiya, it really gives me the vibe of ancient Sri Lanka that I've read in the novels. I must say few words of Sports and recreational unit in the hotel, they made our stay extra special with a fire dancing on Saturday night and a balanced show on Sunday night, special gratitude to Lahiru who performed a great balance show. When talking about foods, they were so kind enough to have a separate kids buffet on each day, active stations with hoppers, kottu, pan cakes, naan etc on each breakfast and dinner depending on the meal. Each breakfast they served Yara tea which is even rare to find on outside in the country. They welcome you at the reception with traditional Kandyan Sri Lankan music, giving you such a warm welcome. Each and every staff member in the resort is so dedicated to meet that welcome during your whole visit. Thank you guys for making our stay sc wonderful 💖

The property is truly stunning — spread across vast, beautifully maintained grounds with a serene private beach and an impressive 18-hole golf course. The views of the Indian Ocean are absolutely breathtaking and make the entire experience even more special. A special mention to the F&B team: Uditha, Kapila, Chef Dharmendra, and the entire staff who went above and beyond every single day. They were incredibly caring and accommodating, especially when it came to preparing customised meals for my infant. Their warmth and attention to detail made our stay feel truly personal.
