What you need to know before booking a stay at Ad Lib hotel: Food - definitely the strongest part of the experience, with breakfast offering a very wide selection, including live cooking and 'street-food' like stalls, serving pancakes and Thai soups. Various fresh fruits and egg dishes available. Bonus point for the pasty section with delicious croissaints Rooms - I've stayed in a ground floor room, which indeed, as other reviews mentioned, doesn't have much light during the day. Rooms are spacious, with AC and air purifier. Beds are super big, with comfortable mattresses. Design is not very modern. Location - key point to consider. While it's quiet, to visit key points such as Talat Noi, Chinatown or Parks, you'll need some more time (BTS/Subway, but not direct, Grab - however in the area there's high traffic). If your focus is on exploring the city, I'll choose another location, closer to the river. Hotel has a free Tuk-Tuk to the main street, which saves you maybe 5-7 minutes of walk. Staff - very friendly and helpful, they take very good care of you during the meals. Check-in and -out process was very fast, however hotel required 4000 Baht deposit (which was returned during check-out) Pool - the pool is clean and relatively long (around 20m), so you can go for a swim there. Even though the pool is on the roof, don't expect panoramic view on Bangkok's skyscrapers, as it's only 3rd or 4th floor.

I spent a week in. A haven full of charm and wonder. The lobby, breakfast area, garden, and restaurant are all beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The location is extremely convenient—very close to everything. They offer a luxury golf cart service that takes you around with ease. The food is amazing, and the rooms are spacious. Some rooms have large windows, while others overlook the entrance, where a magnificent tree is beautifully lit at night, creating a magical atmosphere🤩 definitely coming back

What a lovely hotel, one of the best stays we’ve had. The staff are genuinely kind and helpful, and the hospitality goes above and beyond. The rooms and property are serene, dare I say White Lotus-esque. The restaurant is delicious as well. We’d happily stay again. Thanks for a beautiful vacation!

I wanted to like this hotel but it fell short. The pool is great, but beyond that the service was quite off. Be aware that the location was also really trashy, right in the heart of the Nana. I had an early flight and agreed to check out at 6am with a breakfast box. They had all day to contact me if needed, but decided to call my room at 10pm while I was sleeping to ask some questions about the box which woke me up. Pretty common sense if im leaving first thing not to call at night. Also, the sound proofing to the outdoor road was poor. We could hear walkie talkies, staff etc throughout the night. A hotel has one task - a good nights sleep. The interruptive service and poor sound isolation didn’t achieve that. The cherry on the cake was my breakfast box was missing half the items. I never really write negative reviews, but for this price point - they need to sort out some details and be more thoughtful to be a good hotel. There are so many great ones in bangkok, here it just feels sloppy and I left feeling tired and frustrated.
