Great service by the staff and very good breakfast and 24/7 room service with very good food but rooms and bathrooms require a lot of makeover/re do.Good service by the front desk and concierge's . Needs better mangement for large groups of people attending ceremonies/weddings etc though,i got scratched by another indian guest staying at this hotel at the breakfast buffet line. The concierge mr winner first 2 days of our stay and mick last 2 days did a very good job of answering all of our queries about bangkok, where to go,what to do also arranged a car for us at a very reasonable price to take a full day trip to ayutthaya.Winner also showed on on a ctual physical maps where to go what to shop for and how to stay safe in bangkok. Mr mick on the last day of stay on my request tried to arrange a tour of The hot-wheels(i am a collector) factory located in south bangkok. Excellent job by the concierges,front desk staff(always smiling and very very helpful) , the breakfast chefs and the room service team. Breakfast spread was amazing and very tasty so so many options. The front desk staff also helped me find a thai snack i had been searching but was unable to find anywhere. I got my snack a lot of it thanks to them. I got scratched on my right arm by another Indian guest. Its like stepping into a hotel in nyc in the 90's, bathroom really needs a lot of renovation. The vinyl/fake wood floor creeks as you walk aswell leading to a distrubed sleep if the person staying in your room wakes up in the middle of the night and walks on the floor. The bathroom is in a dire state and requires a lot of makeover aswell,the kitchennete has not pots/pans to cook nor a inducation/stove just a microvawe thats it. The room is huge but desperately needs a remodel. There was some wedding/ceremony at this hotel on day 3 of our stay here and there was a large group of indian guests from the wedding party, leading to a long snaking queue to enter the restaurant where breakfast is served. One of the guests scatched me on my arm, and asked me to move aside because they wanted to skip the queue,could have asked me verballly but decided to touch/scratch and ask,the hotel should have arranged breakfast for the wedding/whatever party somewhere else, bunch of more indians tried to skip queue,the staff was quick to send them back in line. Sort of ruined my experience.

Really enjoyed my stay here n was very pleasantly surprised with the size of the room!! Clean n everything works even though its very run down. For example, once upon a time floor access while using the lift was by using a security key card.. not anymore.. Everything is tired except for the lobby!! The breakfast which was at their hotel building, was very good with an excellent range of food items n pretty good quality!! Location was very good n convenient. For the price per night and including breakfast was worth every baht!! Definitely recommend this hotel if u want good prices huge room but only negative is that it’s a tired hotel!! PS at the lobby toilet of the rembrandt hotel, need to put a warning sign to watch out for the step when entering the toilet.. see photos

My stay at Rembrandt was very comfortable, staff was very helpful and friendly (NamFon, Khruawan, PANthong, Supawadee) was provide very good house keeping services. I am on a business trip and really enjoyed my stay here! room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. We were 5 colleageus wanted to work together and staff has provided everything. Location was great—close to market but still quiet at night. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. Overall, it felt easy and stress-free, which is exactly what I wanted. Would definitely come back!

The pictures looked great, and they did an amazing job with them, however everything is obviously dated, worn and The mattresses appear to be old and feels to have little if any padding as I can feel springs, but at least Everything looks clean. Then there is a scheduled power outage no one told us about. Did not see it in Agoda, did not see an email, and certainly was not told this by the front desk- all power would be cut to the building at 0930 tomorrow until 1500, but that’s all subject to change. They don’t say if the elevators will work or not which is sweet because we are on the 17th floor. I’m assuming the air con will be off as well, but it doesn’t say that, so I don’t know. Then of course there was the 40 minutes and a phone call and a trip to the lobby to get our luggage. We left our luggage due to lack of early check in and when we came back we were not sure where it was. Called and asked, and we were told it would be right up. Wife went down to get it and again she was told it would be right up. Turns out they had literally two bus loads of peoples stuff being taken up and the front desk should have relayed this and when my wife asked to take her own bags up, saying “no no no, they will be right up” is probably the wrong answer. Then my wife gets to the room and no safe. The front desk said they would send one, she asked to have a room where the safe is not just sat there but secured to something. She said that is not Possible as all safes are the same and all rooms are Full. Security guy shows up 15 min later with a very large safe, then proceeded to secure it to the wall. My aide said he was very friends and helpful, but my initial confusion about wanting a safe secured to something and being told no, is now turning into an operations as issues continue to pile up. As I’m writing this I am Laying in bed and a loud sound of water in pipes in the wall turns on and off abruptly.l with a loud rushing sound. Luckily we have ear plugs. I don’t think there are refunds, but we will be leaving tomorrow. Oh and the emergency flashlight has no batteries, and there was a nice cold shower to wake up to. We packed our bags and made it to the elevator to find out they don’t work. Asked someone and there is only one set of elevators working. Took 5-10 min to get an elevator. The lady at the front desk was understanding and said she would upgrade us to their other hotel that is supposed to be “much nicer”, but we told her we had trust issues. She said she would refund our second day, and offered a large room upgrade next time we are in town. She was nice, and that was very sweet, but we have no interest at this location.
