All the staff here are brilliant and very friendly. It's close to the beach, shops and restaurants etc. We would have loved a kettle in the room, but otherwise has everything you need and always clean like the rest of the hotel. Food was tasty and plentiful and we always found something to eat, but might be an issue if you have picky eaters, although there is delicious pizza available by the pool throughout the day. I would definitely recommend

The hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are clean. The food is tasty and varied, with something different served every day. Everyone can find something they like. The staff are very friendly – at the reception, in the restaurant, and at the daytime bar. Eva and Dennis truly deserve an extra bonus just for their smiles. :) However, Mr. Ibrahim at the evening bar was often unfriendly, seemed annoyed when serving guests, and frequently rolled his eyes, which made us feel unwelcome. Additionally, most cocktails were prepared by a machine rather than made by the bartender, which was disappointing. The location is excellent. The beach is within walking distance, there are plenty of shops nearby, and there is also a bus stop close to the hotel.

Just returned from a very enjoyable 10 day stay, i highly recommend this hotel for its food (especially deserts, grill and salads), staff who where both friendly and helpfull. Our room which had a sea view was serviced daily with fresh towels and bed linen twice a week was clean and spacious enough. The hotel consists of a central hub / pool / bar and several adjacent buildings inter connected. The hotel may not be suitable for anyone with a mobility issues as there are numerous steps or steep ramps, for example our room was about 50 steps from reception, which also was 50 steps from the pool / main bar which was about again was 350 metres from the beach ⛱️. Also the only other noticeable issue with our room was that it did not have any draw storage other than 4 shelves in a reasonably sized cupboard, so the only flat surface readly available in the room was a table which was fully used with no space for the duration of our stay. Also a few final points are take insect repellent as there are mosquitoes in the evening, and if you are planning to sunbath around the pool there are not enough beds or sun parasols to go around so reserve early.

Just returned from a great week at Alexander House Hotel, absolutely value small family run Hotel. Good location few minutes to beach bar and shops, some nice sea views from certain points at Hotel. Good staff and services foods good but for excess salt. Not recommended for mobility issues. Thanks to all the staff always active and cheerful 😊

Kalimera! 🇬🇷 We had a fantastic week at Alexander House Hotel in Agia Pelagia, Crete! The staff were, for the most part, incredibly friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the maître, the lovely lady at breakfast, and especially Eva at the pool bar. Eva was always up for a nice chat and even remembered our preferred cocktails throughout the entire week, adapting them perfectly. Love Eva ❤️ The maître was always extremely helpful. We were a group of six, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him — he always made sure to find a table for all six of us. His kindness and willingness to help really made a difference. The BBQ was absolutely delicious! I even got a special little preview of the beautifully marinated, smoked and barbecued pork tenderloin — it was fantastic. The chef is a super-friendly man with a great deal of experience and knowledge, and you can really taste the passion in his cooking. Our room and the hotel surroundings were clean, and the friendly atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. There are a few areas that could be improved. In the evening, some of the drinks were served lukewarm. The cocktails could also use a little revision, as they were generally too sweet. The paid Pina Colada was particularly sweet and, for our taste, lacked coconut milk. But overall, what we will remember most is a fantastic week filled with warmth, conviviality, good food and wonderful company. We will definitely remember the many pleasant conversations, the laughter and the lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Ευχαριστώ πολύ! 🇬🇷❤️
