We stayed here with our family during the second week of October. The lobby and bar area were nice and gave a good first impression, but unfortunately, almost everything else was outdated, broken, or poorly maintained. The hotel may tick all the bureaucratic boxes to qualify as a four-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a two- or three-star hotel if you look a little closer. The food was repetitive and oily, and the all-inclusive drinks were of the cheapest quality. We booked a “villa with a private pool,” but the reality was quite different. It was actually just one part of a villa, either the upper or lower floor, with a designated pool and very little privacy. The neighboring units were not separated in any meaningful way, so there was nothing particularly private about the pool. The hotel is close to the beach, but getting there is inconvenient. You either have to cross a road, which can be tricky, or crawl through a maintenance tunnel that is barely 1.2 metres high. On the other side of the hotel, there is a wasteland, and if you stay in one of the villas, you are also very close to a construction site where the sound of jackhammers can make relaxing difficult. Another resort is located behind the wasteland, and despite being roughly half a mile away, the noise from its parties was clearly audible through the thin walls and windows. Not exactly the peaceful holiday atmosphere you would expect. The staff were friendly, polite, and willing to accommodate our needs, which was definitely a positive. However, the maintenance situation seems inadequate, as there appears to be only one person handling repairs, and he seems overworked and possibly lacking the resources or skills needed to keep everything in proper condition. The rooms themselves are tired and worn, the furniture is old, the grout between the floor tiles is dirty, and one of the TVs in our room did not work. There were also ants in the room, but instead of dealing with the problem properly, they were simply swept away during daily cleaning. When it rained during our stay, water also made its way into the room through the gap beneath the front door, which was approximately 2 cm high. This is another example of the poor maintenance that seems to be a recurring issue throughout the property. Cleanliness was another disappointment. The floors were swept or washed daily, but after washing them, the cleaner would walk across the already-cleaned floor in outdoor shoes, which rather defeats the purpose. Dusting also seemed to be largely neglected, as surfaces above approximately one metre were apparently not cleaned at all. There was a significant buildup of dust on almost every horizontal surface at that height. Overall, the housekeeping standards left a lot to be desired. On the positive side, the lobby and bar area were pleasant, the staff were nice, and parking on the hotel grounds was free, although spaces could sometimes be limited. Unfortunately, these positives do not make up for the many shortcomings. The hotel looks better at first glance than it actually is, and while it may officially be rated four stars, the outdated rooms, poor maintenance, questionable cleanliness, repetitive food, cheap drinks, lack of privacy in the so-called private pool villas, and noise from the surrounding area make it difficult to justify that rating. There is potential here, but significant improvements are needed. Based on our experience, I would rate it closer to a two- or three-star hotel than a four-star resort.

I will start with the cons's. There are pro's just bear with me. For the first 3 days there was no hot water for showering. The weather was bad, it was raining and cold, so having to shower with cold water for a family with children was terrible. After complaints and being told it would be fixed, the water improved to luke warm, and didn't improve to my liking till we checked out. The decor in the rooms is old and dated. And there was some dust in room (there had been a dust storm the day prior to our arrival, which also dirtied the pool) The all inclusive drink options were the cheapest quality. On the plus side, the all inclusive food was tasty, pleasant and varied, but it lacked bold flavours and that wow taste factor. The staff were exceptional: Mario at the front desk, Mariana at the bar and Giasemi at the Spa were lovely and helpful. The spa is a great touch and I enjoyed my treatment, there are options for kids spa too. The entertainment could be improved but we enjoyed karaoke night and we enjoyed use of cards, tennis rackets and once the weather improved the kids swam in the pool. The location is close to the beach and a museum across the road. For bars/restaurants you will need to go further afield however.

Me and my friends had a great stay here. The hotel has some amazing views from the rooms and defenetly value for its price. The food was also pretty good I don’t understand the reviews that disliked it. Definitely a great experience and would recommend

As above stated, room and service good. The food was excellent, tasty and plenty of options. At the time of my visit, the hotel was very cosmopolitain with all nationalities being friendly despite language barriers. As, one among quite a few, I was a solo traveller, and would recommend that the hotel supplied an optional solo's table for any such persons, in order that they didn't have to eat their meals alone, as is sometimes done on cruise ships.

We had a wonderful experience at Mediterraneo Hotel in Greece! From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. Our villa was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy our holiday. The food was delicious, with a great variety and something to enjoy every day. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel truly comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and created some great memories. We would definitely recommend Mediterraneo Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Greece. We would happily come back!
