We were there in low season and it was amazing. Great price and the room was fantastic. 2 excellent pools, one overlooking the beach. Buffet breakfast was better than expected and the servicewas impeccable. Great pizza at the italian restaurant which was cheaper than some top resort restaurants. The beach is big and its quite a walk to the sea especually at low tide but its shallow and very safe for swimming, with some gentle ocean waves.

Stayed here from 7-11 Aug and it was the perfect resort location for us because we wanted to go surfing daily at Memories surfhouse, which was just a 5-min walk away! Hospitality by the staff was very pleasant, reminded us of Japanese hospitality, every staff we walked by greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel like we were at home. The restaurant staff (at breakfast) were also very observant and helpful. Rooms were clean, housekeeping was prompt, but TV lacked good channels, there was not much variety and no Netflix. Locations a bit more exclusive/far out, so getting a taxi might not be easy. But the resort is very tranquil! We love it :) PS: There is a spot at Salt and Surf where taxis and Tuk Tuks are waiting, but is slightly pricey — fixed pricing of 350 baht to Bang Niang market area. No bargaining allowed. PPS: Coming from Phuket airport, arrange for Click Taxi Khao Lak and the trip was 75-mins at 1200 baht. Very good service.

It’s not often that you rate a restaurant visit at a hotel, but I feel it would be wrong of me not to share this fantastic experience. To begin with, we were given a lovely table with an unreal view of the beach and the sea, where we enjoyed drinks and relaxed. Our group then turned out to be larger than we had first expected, and we were promptly given another equally nice table with room for more people. Everything was handled with incredible service by Reymond, who was the highlight of the evening and made us stay much longer than we had originally planned. Friendly, funny, service-minded, and an absolute pleasure to have as a waiter. The food was also excellent, along with great cocktails. Go there, ask for Reymond to take care of you, lean back, and enjoy! That’s exactly what we’ll be doing again next year. Thank you, Reymond!

We have stayed here 3 years running. We love Apsara Resort. The reasons we keep coming back are for the beachfront location and for the amazing staff. The moment we arrive we feel so welcome. We have been so fortunate to receive a room upgrade and a late checkout. The all inclusive option is such value for money. It was so lovely to be greeted like a family member by to security guard Siggy ( not sure if this is the correct spelling). The front reception staff were so helpful. The food service staff were exceptional. Thank you from both Dave and I for a memorable stay. Will see you again next year!
