Beautiful resort with excellent privacy, making it a great choice for families looking for a relaxing getaway. The service from most of the staff was fantastic—everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk was disappointing compared to the rest of the team. I would encourage management to look into this, as I suspect other guests may have had similar concerns. Aside from that, the resort offers a wonderful stay, and I would still recommend it for those seeking a peaceful and private retreat.

The resort is truly superb. It is set within lush, verdant surroundings, and features impeccably clean and pleasantly swimming pools. The beach is absolutely delightful, and the sunbed area benefits from partial shade. The staff are exceptionally courteous and attentive. In close proximity to the resort, there are several small local restaurants offering very reasonably priced cuisine, both along the beach and on the street just outside the property. Fresh fruit is readily available, and there is also a minimarket and currency exchange service nearby. The resort further provides a shuttle service to Khao Lak and the local market.

Seventh House

The hotel is listed as 5-star and it couldn’t be farther from the truth. If you ever stayed at a 5-star hotel, then you know it should offer ”ultimate luxury, impeccable, personalized service with highly trained staff, extensive amenities like fine dining and spas, plush rooms with high-end toiletries and modern tech for a top-tier guest experience”. There is nothing 5-star about this hotel. If the place was properly maintained it could reach 4-star level. However, the lack of maintenance (or the poor quality maintenance) takes it down to a dated 3-star establishment. I did see some workers paint the white walls of the hotel though. Especially the room(s?) are in a sorry state. They are worn out and in desperate need of professional attention. Not only was the room worn out, but every corner was filled with grime and built-up-dirt that daily cleaning couldn’t manage. We even had a space with immense amounts of dirt and cobwebs that can’t have been cleaned in years. To be honest, this disgusting feature tempts me to give a 2-star rating to the hotel, but that wouldn’t be fair given the sum of it all. I can’t honestly understand why proper rounds of deep cleaning aren’t done regularly, polish applied to the floors when need be and broken stuff mended. It shouldn’t be a question of finances, since the place was fully booked. I just get a sense of the owners just cashing in as long as possible, with minimal investments into the place. The pool area is OK, whilst the beach is amazing. That’s the best feature of the hotel. The public indoor areas are clean and pleasant. The entertainment area is awesome, clean and well maintained. It offers bowling, archery, tennis, a gym, ping pong, an entire boxing gym, pool and snooker. The thai restaurant in the centre has bats occupying the corridor leading to the bathrooms. This since the interior ceiling is broken, giving the bats the perfect place to nest. They were out and about flying, in full visibility to the staff who didn’t care the least Not very hygienic and another evidence of the utter negligence and lack of maintenance (it would take less than a hour to replace the few broken planks in the ceiling). The restaurants are ok, pending between 3- and 4-star, and definitely better choices than what’s available on the road outside. Regarding location, the road outside doesn’t offer any culinary experiences. The oddly enough highly rated ”restaurants” on it are among the worst I’ve visited. So if you’re looking for a run down and dated 4-star hotel with filthy rooms, but with an amazing staff, an amazing beach and good exercising options, don’t think twice. However, if you thought you found a 5-star hotel for a bargain, be prepared to be disappointed. You generally get what you pay for.

Where do we even start? Me and my bestie stayed at Graceland for 10 nights and honestly had a 10/10 experience from start to finish!! 🤩 From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy. Breakfast every morning was amazing with so much choice, the facilities were spotless, the rooms were really spacious and comfortable, and the beach was just unreal. Its one of those places where you keep looking around thinking “how is this actually real?” But what really makes this hotel special is the staff and the service. We genuinely can’t even put into words how welcoming everyone was. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every single person we met went out of their way to make things better for us. As two girls in our twenties, we definitely had a bit too much fun with the golf buggies to our room (you had to be there), but the staff were always so happy to drive our lazy selves around and had a laugh with us every time. It honestly made the whole thing feel so personal and fun. A massive shout out has to go to the beach team: Pla, Thep, Mos, Fluk, Tum, and of course our number one favourite ever, Toey!! You guys genuinely made every day on the beach even better. Always smiling, always looking after everyone, and just bringing the best energy. Leaving Graceland was actually a bit emotional. I think we almost shed a tear saying goodbye. It’s rare to find a place that feels this special, but even rarer to find people who make you feel so at home. Just the most unforgettable stay, in the most beautiful place, with the most incredible people ❤️

- Beautiful hotel with large and modern rooms. - Great with lots of seating on the balcony. - The hotel is located on a fantastic beach! - Plenty of sun loungers on the beach and the beach boys help get sun loungers regardless if you want to lie in the sun or the shade. - This is the first hotel on our trip that respects and follows the no-smoking zones by the pool and the sea and smokers are allowed to leave so as not to disturb other guests, great! - Large selection at breakfast and great coffee station where the staff makes coffee after order! Felt luxurious!! Negative: - We were fairly shocked when we booked a "pool view" room and the only thing we saw from our balcony was the park and palm trees (nice) but feels like false advertising when you expect a pool view. - There are quite long distances between some buildings and down to the sea. - Smelled every morning of sewage by the beach. - At breakfast we noticed several mornings that there were small cockroaches running around the tables and at the sprinkles/topping/chocolate sauce station. When we told the staff, they didn't seem shocked at all and barely cared. Disaster in a five-star hotel where the dining room is also indoors! - Cleaning took place one day after 5:30 pm, which was a hassle when you were going to get up and shower after the beach but realized that there were no clean towels. - Located quite far from shops and restaurants (for us without All Inclusive, it was a lot of long walks in the heat).
