We spent a wonderful week at OUTRIGGER Khao Lak Beach Resort and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. Everything felt well taken care of, starting with the service: the staff were consistently warm, friendly and professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome from day one. We stayed in a Garden Villa, which was perfect for us. Having a private villa surrounded by a beautiful garden gave us a real sense of peace and privacy. The resort overall is calm and quiet, even though there are many families with children. In practice, most kids were enjoying the pool area, while we preferred the beach and had a very relaxing time. Breakfast was varied and generous, with plenty of options for every taste. However, the real highlight for us was dinner on the beach. It was truly romantic, with a lovely atmosphere right by the sea. We also enjoyed the buffet evenings, which were well organized and always accompanied by a nice show. The beach is stunning, and in our opinion one of the most beautiful in Khao Lak. We chose it over the pool every day and never got tired of it. One small note (more about guest behavior than the resort itself): despite the resort’s rules, a few guests reserved the “best” sunbeds early in the morning with towels and belongings and then disappeared for hours. It would be great if the rules could be enforced a bit more consistently, to ensure fairness for everyone. That said, these are only minor details. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for relaxation, beautiful seaside dining and genuinely kind hospitality.

We were a family of 4 (kids 8 & 12) visiting the Outrigger hotel for the first time. When they say that Thai-people are friendly, this was the essence of it. The staff made the 6 days become an amazing time with their open minded attitude, playing cards with the kids, telling jokes, taking time to talk and ask and making us relax and feel welcome. Star of the hotel is “Tum” along with his colleagues in the pool and activity area. The boys were SO positive every day, smiling and helping out with all you needed. And very hard working next to it. The hotel is in a great spot. Beautiful beach and the pool is great. We did water activity for free each day and private lesson Thai Boxing with Tum. Amazing! The food you can’t put a finger on and 2 times we experienced a “theme” night with delicious buffet and show. Especially the Monday show with the fire was worldclass. Rooms were also great - no complaints here. Reception and Concierge high standards. All in all we were blown away by the people working there. Having travelled many places in the world we have never seen a genuineness and friendliness at this level - and in the world we live in today just experiencing this it more than worth the money. Tum and the rest of you guys; the world need more people like you 🇹🇭🙏 Thanks for showing us your world and making our stay a great experience.

We stayed at this resort in early January. We have nothing bad to say because there is nothing we didn't like. Pleasant and smiling welcome, spacious and clean room. Breakfast was plentiful, there was something for everyone, delicious, coffee was excellent! The staff at the pool was extremely pleasant and friendly, we must mention and highlight one very nice and sweet guy - Tum, as well as his friend Sa Chane (if I wrote it correctly) I must also mention our housekeeper Fon because she always made the room beautifully and left essential oil so that the room always smelled like a spa corner. 🥰 The restaurant on the beach was good, the food was delicious, and the staff was also helpful and smiling. Keep in mind that the hotel is in a good location, but not the best because it is not very close to the city, but it was not a problem for us, we rented scooters near the hotel so we were mobile for trips to the town.All in all, we had a wonderful time and spent a truly enjoyable 10 days at the Outrigger resort.🌴

We had an amazing stay at Outrigger Khao Lak, made even more special by the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and included. A special thank you to Tum, Sa, Shane, Rid, and Love — you were all absolutely fantastic. You greeted us with smiles every day, encouraged us to get involved in beach activities like soccer and volleyball, and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Your friendliness, politeness, and enthusiasm really stood out and made our holiday unforgettable. It’s clear this team truly cares about the guests and enjoys what they do. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return just because of the people alone. Highly recommended! 🌴⚽🏐

This was our second visit to outrigger Khao Lak, having stayed last year. Sometimes re-visiting places isn't a good idea as they dont live up to your memories but Outrigger didn't disappoint. Immaculately kept facilities and grounds, this hotel feels lovely and friendly. Its not a very big hotel and better for it. Outstanding location right on tbe beach, with direct access and loungers . Beautiful pool area , with plenty of loungers and space. Currently staying in another hotel in Cape Panwa, and while this new hotel is bigger and probably feels a bit higher end , there's something missing. That something is the staff. The staff , every one of them, make you feel like family. You get the warmest welcome and without fail, every one goes out of their way to help you with the biggest smiles you will see anywhere. We will definitely be back . I hurt my back on day 3 of my stay and the guys by the pool helped me with the loungers , towels etc. Nothing is too much trouble. So thank you to Sa and Shane for all their warm ,friendly help and Gayle the wonderful massage therapist who worked hard on my aching back. We will see you again😍
