Rooms excellent. Service excellent. Food average at best. Breakfast - too much waiting for freshly cooked items. The a la Carte restaurants are top class and the service is so professional. Nothing is too much trouble and the waiters are so polite and can't do enough for their guests. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ONE MEMBER OF STAFF ESPECIALLY. MATEO on the guest services desk has been so helpful in trying to arrange a la carte restaurants for us. He has gone above and beyond and his courtesy and attention towards us has been wonderful. Thank you Mateo from the Thomson, Finnegan and McManus families.

His friendliness and attention to detail made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. We would also like to recognize Eduardo for his exceptional hospitality and dedication to ensuring guests had a memorable experience. His positive attitude and genuine care did not go unnoticed. A huge compliment goes to Chef Tony, whose culinary skills were outstanding. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and showcased great attention to quality and flavor. The service throughout the resort was excellent, thanks to the amazing waitstaff, especially Saul, Daniel, and Francisco. They were attentive, friendly, hardworking, and always made dining a pleasant experience with their warm smiles and excellent service. The entire team helped create unforgettable memories for our family, and we are grateful for their dedication and professionalism. We highly recommend Bahia Principe Grand Tulum and look forward to returning in the future.

Review for the foam party on Sunday!! Amazing party that lasted soo long!!! My daughter and I had a blast with the aqua aerobics and then foam party followed. The entertainment staff was amazing making sure that kids and parents took one side to ensure safety. Great music and entertainment! Shout out to Giampaolo and Amayrani! Always making sure everyone was having fun!!

We visited Tequila restaurant and we are absolutely delighted with our experience. My husband and I were both very impressed. The service was excellent – friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The location is simply beautiful, right next to the ocean, which makes the whole experience even more special. The food was significantly better than our last visit. We really liked that everything is now clearly on the menu instead of the bar setup – it feels more organised and elevated. We ordered the shrimps and octopus, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. Everything was prepared and presented to the highest standard. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone and will happily return ourselves.

We just returned from 7 days at this resort. I will admit leading up to our trip I was nervous watching all these terrible comments and reviews roll in, so much so that we almost switched locations. But I am SO GLAD WE DID NOT. We had an absolutely amazing week. The staff was absolutely next level and do everything in their power to ensure your trip is filled with amazing memories. Our main bartenders, Francisco and Librado at the main pool were our best friends. They remembered us from our first day and always had our orders memorized and our names. Then we had the entertainment team. This team worked so hard to ensure everyone was having a great time, from evening events to daytime pool activities they had it all. Special shout out to Carlos 1 and Carlos 2, Job and Edgar for making our trip extra fun and engaging. And lastly, the waitstaff. They go so far out of their way to remember your drink preferences and your names, it’s amazing. Special shout out to Daniel who always made a point of shouting our names and chatting with us, and Jesus who was happy to deliver tequila shots from the minute we arrived for lunch. We arrived expecting mediocre food and limited staffing and we were met with the complete opposite. Yes, the buffet is closed certain days but they put you into à la cartes instead, which is always a nice experience. We will absolutely be back with our kids because we were completely blown away by the level of care, the cleanliness, the friendliness and the overall vibe of this resort.
