Positives- Beach and grounds were incredible. Pools very good, club was one of the better I’ve see at all inclusive , casino was good, sports bar very good. Food was average similar to many other all inclusives. Room was nothing special but very clean and the bathroom in the room is way out of date and needs upgrading. Reading other people’s reviews I agree about the service, they provide it but seem upset with you that they have too, not many of them are friendly at all like at other places, even when you co Stanton provide tips. I enjoyed my time very much and would recommend this place, just upgrade the bathrooms and train the workers to be more friendly.

I absolutely loved this resort and will definitely be returning. I feel it is well worth the money. If you’re planning a stay, I recommend booking directly through the hotel’s reservation department to get the best value and available package options. We upgraded to an exclusive package that included premium liquor and beer, access to top-quality dining experiences, and personalized butler service. Our butler was outstanding and made sure our room was well taken care of throughout our stay. The refrigerator was kept fully stocked with drinks at all times, which added an extra level of convenience and luxury to our vacation.

Barceló Bávaro Beach is a beautiful resort and overall we had an amazing 6-day vacation. We traveled as a group of two couples along with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked the adults-only side but also had access to the Palace resort, which is family-friendly, giving us plenty of dining and entertainment options throughout the property. The resort itself is massive, stunning, and very well maintained. Even after six days, there were amenities and areas we didn’t get to fully experience. The food was generally very good across the buffet selections and the à la carte restaurants on both sides of the resort. The rooms are somewhat dated, but they were clean, comfortable, and kept tidy throughout our stay. Service, however, was a bit inconsistent. At times it was excellent, but other times it left a lot to be desired, even accounting for the language barrier. Some staff members were attentive and welcoming, while others appeared unmotivated and showed very little engagement when serving guests. Overall, the resort staff could benefit from stronger customer service training to create a more consistent guest experience. Despite that, we still had a fantastic trip and would recommend the resort for its beautiful beach, large property, great amenities, and overall atmosphere.

Overall stay was pleasant, the beach area is pretty and perfect for a good tan.However, the water is not the clearest and there is lots or algae, but that’s nature ( nothing to do). Room was good. Food was excellent! that is the greatest take away from my stay. The entertainment team has done their best ! Definitely interacted with the crowd and attempted their best to have everyone engaged. Edwin was the staff member I interacted with the most and he definitely did his best in interacting with everyone. I do wish the music did not end as early for the common areas. I stayed in the Adults only side.

Waterbugs everywhere. Roaches in the buffet. That alone should be enough to raise concerns. The Junior Suite was nothing like the photos. It looked more like a motel room, the beds were worn out and tilted, and there was no privacy in the bathroom the shower area has no door, so everyone in the room can see you. I would avoid the Junior Suites. As the parent of an autistic child, I explained to the front desk that we had been placed in the loud pool party section while a large college group was staying there. My concerns were dismissed, and I was told to come back the next morning to see if another room was available. The one bright spot was the Premium Section supervisor. After waiting nearly two hours to speak with management, he listened with compassion, understood our situation, and immediately moved us to the family section. The new room, with two bedrooms and private bathroom doors, was much better suited for our family, and I truly appreciate his kindness and professionalism. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. We found another waterbug in the new room, the air conditioning barely worked, and the room phones were out of service. While I'm grateful for the supervisor who went above and beyond, the cleanliness, room quality, and lack of responsiveness from the front desk make it hard for me to recommend this resort.
