Best Jacaranda

A very quick 5 days in Tenerife at this hotel. I was booked last minute so not much else available. The room was dirty on arrival. Remnants for someone's take-away under the bed. Bits of other rubbish about. Floor filthy. Housekeeping was informed and they did come to sweep up. But first impressions do last unfortunately. The rooms are basic and dark. Not a very relaxing environment for a holiday. We did ask about paying for an upgrade, but in all honesty the upgraded room was on par with what we had, if slightly worse. So stayed put. Pool deep and not clean. Snackbar full of pigeons. Rubbish is literally blowing everywhere. We did go half board and breakfast wasnt bad, but evening meal was terrible. We are not picky eaters at all but the choice was limited and not well cooked. Drinks prices seemed reasonable. Some bars and restaurants within walking distance. Definitely would not go again. The staff were very nice and helped where they could.

just stayed for 4 nights with my teenage son. Hotel was busy and clean, yes its a little dated in areas but no worse than other hotels in this budget. Staff we met were pleasant. We only did bed and breakfast (which was your regular hotel breakfast - dodgy sausage and bacon but in line with most Spanish resorts, not what we are used to in UK!). Plenty of other options. We bought water and cans of pop from the local shops to have in our room and kept them in the fridge. Rooms large and clean, good bathroom. Stayed really for the competative price and local to the main Adeje strip, lots of other superior eateries in the area which we enjoyed trying. Bus stop for free Siam Park bus over the road, it ran at 9am, which got us there before the gates opened and was perfect (and free!).

The location is great with a lot to offer to families, and extremely enjoyable experiences. But I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Ana at the reception. She helped us with a super room, a lot of advices regarding our choices for the holiday that proved helpful. She made our staying at this hotel great throughout her actions and advices. The atmosphere is as it should be in a large hotel but what I appreciated is the hours picked for meals. Those are great, I didn’t felt tired or pressed by those. I cannot say many things because we liked having a stroll and admire the ocean so we weren’t staying at the hotel. The value is a matter of personal evaluation, for us was a good value for money and a great memories for our children Anghel Family

Overall its a rundown 4 star hotel Food very basic but edible could do with a seperate restaurant as all food in served in one restaurant, AI drinks are very basic and not a great deal of choice you can pay a small amount extra for a better quality drink. Snack bar as basic stuff through the day but there is a lot of birds around the food area which is not very hygenic as birds and pigeons carry alot of bacteria, The pool area as cracked tiles broken boards and broken drains around the pools overall there are 6 pools but they aren't massive. If you have older kids who like a floaty on the pool the biggest pool is out of bounds as Lilos and rubber rings are not aloud in there. This is a shame as the other pools ae not big enough for them. We had multiple issues with the keys and door locks to our rooms which was quite frightening at times as anyone could walk into our room. We needed to go to reception on about 10 occasions, some staff were great and you do have the odd few that wernt. The location of the hotel is ok theres lots around. When you look at other 4* hotels in the area they are much more modern and look better maintained. I would say realistically this is more a 3* hotel based on the overall condition amenities food and facilities. Would I stay here again no.

We had a very pleasant experience at Hotel Best Jacaranda. The hotel is exactly as described, with a very good location, close to everything you may need during a holiday. The food was very good, varied and plentiful, with many options available every day. We also appreciated the swimming pools, especially the warm water pool for children, which was perfect for our little one. A special thank you to Ana from the reception team. She was extremely kind, helpful and professional throughout our stay. She always welcomed us with a smile, had a lot of patience and gave us many useful recommendations whenever we needed assistance. Her attitude made our stay even more enjoyable, and we truly appreciated her support. Thank you, ANA, and thank you to the Best Jacaranda team! We highly recommend this hotel.
