We just spent the most beautiful and unforgettable time of our lives at Beyond Kata from May 21st to May 27th. We also held our wedding ceremony here on May 23rd, and it was absolute perfection! A huge, heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff who were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and made our special day so seamless. Special thanks to: Jo. F/B. Supak Jeab William Ben Karoy Net You all went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel so welcomed and cared for. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient. It’s surrounded by a great variety of delicious food options and excellent massage places just steps away. Last but not least, the beach here is unbeatable! The pristine, beautiful coastline and the perfect sun-and-sand vibe made our wedding photos and stay look like a dream. We highly recommend Beyond Kata to anyone looking for a perfect getaway or a dream beach wedding in Phuket. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay. No major issues. We were originally checked in by San at the reception and she was awesome and very welcoming. Anytime she saw us in the hallway she would ask how everything was going and made suggestions for outings. We did get a complimentary upgrade on the room. The room was great, but the beds were pretty firm/hard. We had the deluxe pool access right outside our room. The breakfast buffet was nice, was not a big fan of dinner buffet. The other guests looked older, maybe +50. Not really a younger crowd at this hotel. The location is perfect. Lots of shops and other restaurants within walking distance. I would more than likely return when I come back to Phuket

We recently stayed at Beyond Kata Phuket with two other couples, all of us booking Deluxe Pool Access Rooms including breakfast. One couple in our group opted for the complete package, which included all meals and drinks. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the location. It sits right on Kata Beach with taxi ranks conveniently located outside the front entrance and a local market directly across the road. The staff were absolutely lovely throughout our stay, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our rooms were kept clean and tidy each day, and having direct pool access was fantastic. The only downside was the shower water temperature, which fluctuated quickly from very hot to cold in all three of our rooms. Breakfast was reasonable with a good variety of options available. One tip: if you order an omelette, ask for it to be made with fresh eggs rather than the egg mixture from the tub, which is a powdered egg product. As our friends had the meal package, we decided to try the hotel's dinner buffet one evening at 899 baht per person. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of our stay. The food quality was well below expectations, and much of what I tried was simply inedible. Speaking with several other guests, many shared the same opinion. The cocktails were enjoyable, and there was a good selection included in the drinks package. There are plenty of sun lounges around the pool and bar area, however if you want to sit on the lounges positioned directly on the beach, there is an additional charge of 100 baht per person, per day. For families, this could become quite expensive over the course of a holiday. While the beach itself looks beautiful, there was unfortunately a significant amount of rubbish washed up along the shoreline during our stay, including plastic bottles, ropes, cigarette butts, cans and plastic bags. This certainly detracted from the experience and made us think twice about swimming in the ocean. Overall, Beyond Kata offers an excellent beachfront location, comfortable rooms, and great staff. If the dining quality improved and the beach cleanliness issues were addressed, it would easily be a higher rated experience.

Top location right on the beach in the heart of KATA! We had a premier Sea View room on the fourth floor overlooking the ocean as it sits on the beach. Our room maid Tum was fantastic and very attentive to our needs and was very thorough and efficient with the room cleaning daily. The restaurant staff Supa, Jean, William, Nan, Nat and Joan were brilliant and nothing was a problem, that buffet and restaurant ran like clockwork. The pool has ample sun lounges and their non reserving policy of chairs before a certain time (I’ve forgotten) ensures everyone gets what they need when they need it. The resort is a fair size with plenty of room for everyone and you don’t feel like you are all crowded in. A great place to stay.

We would like to thank Tanu from the Pool Bar who really looked after us during our stay at Beyond Kata Resort. We had a wonderful stay. We can't speak more highly of him. He has a very friendly attitude, disposition and professional approach to his work. One can see that he loves his job and the guests. Tanu is very well spoken, polite, witty, helpful and always well groomed. We think he is a great asset to this fabulous Resort and we would like to wish him all the very best for the future.
