This hotel made our stay in Kata really special. We were welcomed with a Thai healthy juice, an aromatherapy infused cold flannel and a mini ice cream cone and of course they carried our bags. We were given a free upgrade probs because it’s low season so had a double bed each!!- air con was easy to operate and strong. Lovely balcony with amazing view, lovely shower no problems with water temperature or pressure. Happy hour is daily from 12-2 and 4-6 and the cocktails were really well made and delicious. Buffet breakfast was lovely with loads of choice. Service was excellent and the pool was lovely with different areas to chill at. You can enjoy your cocktails in the pool too. Would definitely return and recommend for couples and families as it has a resort vibe. Went during low season June 2026.

From the moment we arrived at Chanalai Flora Resort, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and incredible hospitality. The resort is beautiful and impeccably maintained, but the staff truly made our stay. The management team, housekeeping team, restaurant staff, and front desk were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and polite—going above and beyond at every turn. Our rooms was lovely, spacious, and featured very comfortable beds. The breakfast had a good range of choices. We will deeply miss everyone there. Thank you for making our holiday so unforgettable!

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights from 19th to 23rd September and I want to say the service is EXCEPTIONAL (probs the best I have ever received from a hotel) From the very start to the very end, the staff were extremely welcoming, accomodating and helpful ranging from great room service, helping with luggages and giving us some welcome snacks. I do want to make a note that the location is very convenient (5mins walk to beach) however the resort and lobby of the resort is like right next to the road so it doesnt have that resort vibe in the sense of feeling like you are away from everything The room service food was pretty good value and didn't take too long to come up though the quality ranged quite a bit There was a good variety of western and thai dishes with the pad thai and pad see ew being pretty decent The massaman beef curry was really meh though as the beef was extremely tough Anways back to the actual hotel, on our first night we were actually unhappy with our room Unknown to us, it was a connecting room and there was a weird lingering smell Our next door neighbour was quite loud and we requested if we could switch to a new room and they gave us a free upgrade! We really appreciated their responsiveness and help and the new room was perfect with no issues The service really makes the whole resort stay worth it!

A Wonderful Family-Friendly Hotel with Outstanding Staff – A Few Areas to Improve We had a lovely stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to families, especially those travelling with children! ❤️ 🌟 Outstanding Staff and a Warm Welcome From the moment we arrived, we received a fantastic welcome with cold towels, refreshing drinks and ice cream. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly welcoming. Throughout our entire stay, every single member of staff was smiling, friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely. The hotel should be extremely proud of its team – they really made our experience special! 🎂 A Special 40th Birthday Surprise I also celebrated my 40th birthday during our stay, and the hotel made it truly unforgettable! I returned to find my bed beautifully decorated, along with a lovely birthday cake and a sweet “Happy Birthday” message. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming surprise that made me feel genuinely special. These personal touches really show how much the hotel cares about its guests and goes the extra mile to create memorable experiences. Thank you for making my 40th birthday so beautiful! ❤️ 🏊‍♂️ Great Swimming Pools and Facilities The swimming pools were clean and enjoyable, and our 10-year-old son absolutely loved them, especially the large pool, which stays open until 9 PM and is perfect for playing ball games. The gym was also excellent, clean and well maintained. 🛏️ Spacious Rooms with Beautiful Sea Views Our room was very spacious, perfect for three people, with two king-size beds and very comfortable pillows. We especially loved the beautiful sea view and the fantastic bathroom, which had a bathtub, a separate shower and a separate toilet. We were very happy with the room size and overall layout. However, cleanliness could definitely be improved. Although the beds were made and fresh towels were provided daily, the shower was not properly cleaned during our stay. Unfortunately, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned when we first checked in either. 🍳 Breakfast Was Our Biggest Disappointment Unfortunately, breakfast was very repetitive, bland and offered a rather limited selection. By the last two days, we could barely find anything we wanted to eat. This was a real shame because the hotel has so many positive aspects. We strongly recommend improving the variety, quality and flavour of the breakfast options. 🍽️ Don’t Miss the Hotel’s Themed Dinner Evenings! This was one of the biggest highlights of our stay! We attended two themed dinner evenings, including a barbecue night and an Italian/pasta-themed evening. The food was absolutely delicious – honestly, 10/10! The chef really impressed us, and the dinners exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend trying these special evenings rather than automatically going out to find somewhere to eat. You can simply relax and enjoy the fantastic food prepared by the hotel’s chef. We were not disappointed at all! 📍 Excellent Location The location was fantastic and very convenient for getting around. We used Bolt for transportation, which was easy and significantly cheaper than the taxis waiting directly outside the hotel. The hotel’s taxi service was considerably more expensive, so we would recommend comparing prices and using Bolt whenever possible. ❤️ Our Final Verdict Overall, we had a very enjoyable family holiday, and the incredible staff made a huge difference to our experience. The warm welcome, thoughtful 40th birthday surprise, swimming pools, spacious rooms, beautiful sea views, excellent gym and especially the themed dinner evenings were all wonderful highlights. If the hotel improved its breakfast selection and paid more attention to room cleanliness, it could easily offer an outstanding five-star experience. We would happily recommend this hotel to families and would love to see these small improvements made. We had a wonderful three-night stay and were very satisfied with everything. The room, pool, and breakfast were all great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, less than a five-minute walk to Kata Beach, with plenty of great restaurants and massage shops nearby. We really enjoyed the relaxing vacation atmosphere and would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to friends!
