This resort is centrally located, 5 minutes’ walk from a small supermarket, and approximately 10 minutes from Kata night market. There are also numerous bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes of leaving the resort.

Clean and pleasant. Rooms are definitely tired. Chairs around the pool can be hard to find some days as people 'reserve' them all day and barely use them. Some fun activities for the kids (recommended Muay Thai with Oun). Food ok. Kids loved the burgers. The breakfast buffet can be hit or miss. It was often a miss for my picky children. Good location for nearby restaurants and if you want a massage.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. A special thank you to the manager, who was kind enough to arrange a more convenient room for us with small children, which made a huge difference. The food at the hotel restaurants was fantastic, and I can honestly say it was some of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! The quality and variety were exceptional, making every morning a real treat. The pools were great—well-maintained and perfect for relaxation or fun. Additionally, the rooms offered plenty of storage, which was very convenient for our family. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite which was nice and spacious with comfortable beds. It is not modern and could do with a renovation and we had lots of trouble locking the sliding doors and you have to velcro the drapes. The balcony area is not private as you're overlooking the kids pool which would be ok for young families not teenagers. The checkin process was strange, barely a smile from the staff and no run-down of the breakfast and facilities or how to get to the beach. Compared to the warm welcome we received at the previos hotel this set a bad tone for our stay. Barely a word was said to us and we had to figure it out for ourselves. Told to download an app which is useless i would prefer a more personable service. When i booked we were told we could have a late checkout but then they said no due to lack of rooms. I understand this but they shouldn't have said we could have a late check out from the start. Getting to the beach is a good 10-15 minutes walk and no good shopping in the area if you're looking for designer stuff. The beach was packed out we actually found Patong quieter.

We have a fantastic 7 night stay at Centara Kata Resort. We have breakfast included every day which was always high quality. On my birthday the staff sang happy birthday and provided me with a lovely cake at Breakfast. Outstanding value for money and a great spot to stay!
