This resort is centrally located, 5 minutes’ walk from a small supermarket, and approximately 10 minutes from Kata night market. There are also numerous bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes of leaving the resort.

Rooms need some updating and a deep clean. Rooms are spacious. No elevator and has 4 floors. Pool always busy and hard to get a chair by the pool unless you go out and put towels down at 8a.m. It is walking distance to the Kata walking street, 7/11, and about a 25 min walk to Kata Beach.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. A special thank you to the manager, who was kind enough to arrange a more convenient room for us with small children, which made a huge difference. The food at the hotel restaurants was fantastic, and I can honestly say it was some of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! The quality and variety were exceptional, making every morning a real treat. The pools were great—well-maintained and perfect for relaxation or fun. Additionally, the rooms offered plenty of storage, which was very convenient for our family. Highly recommended!

Wut Aoy’s service around the pool was excellent the whole hotel and all the staff were phenomenal. It’s situated smack in the middle of Kata and the beach is a ten minute walk. The friendliness of the staff made all the difference. What a great hotel and spot to finish our trip to Phuket

Our recent stay at Centara Kata Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our family had a comfortable and memorable stay. A special thanks to Joy for being so fabulous, genuine and caring - making our stay extra special. She and the whole team made sure everything was perfect. The hospitality was outstanding, and had the most wonderful experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway, especially if you have children. We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite which was nice and spacious with comfortable beds. It is not modern and could do with a renovation and we had lots of trouble locking the sliding doors and you have to velcro the drapes. The balcony area is not private as you're overlooking the kids pool which would be ok for young families not teenagers. The checkin process was strange, barely a smile from the staff and no run-down of the breakfast and facilities or how to get to the beach. Compared to the warm welcome we received at the previos hotel this set a bad tone for our stay. Barely a word was said to us and we had to figure it out for ourselves. Told to download an app which is useless i would prefer a more personable service. When i booked we were told we could have a late checkout but then they said no due to lack of rooms. I understand this but they shouldn't have said we could have a late check out from the start. Getting to the beach is a good 10-15 minutes walk and no good shopping in the area if you're looking for designer stuff. The beach was packed out we actually found Patong quieter.
