Recently returned from a week at the hotel with family, 6 adults, 2 children (6&8), 1 infant (2). It was the perfect location for this kind of holiday. The all-inclusive food was of very good quality, always something that everybody liked. The children enjoyed their selection also. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good activities in the kids club. All in all we had a great week. The hotel is kept very clean, though a little tired but by no means the worst place we've stayed in. It's a little hilly for the older generations, but not impossible to get about. Excellent value for money. Would return, with children, but not just adults.

We had a lovely stay at Mitisis Cretan village. I would recommend for a holiday in Crete. There are plenty of pools with accompanying bars to keep your time here comfortable but with the opportunity to mix it up - there is also beach access and a beach bar/restaurant. The room service was ok they make the bed and mop the floor every two days but they consistently missed a rusty paper clip that was beside the toilet throughout our stay. The towels are changed bi-daily too (if you wish) but we had no bath mat on arrival and only one bath towel was given in exchange for taking our two dirty ones on another occasion. This was not a big issue for us as we also had our beach towels to utilise and it was our last night. One thing for management is the shower sprays everywhere as the curtain is positioned so it finished online with the shower head which makes the floor extremely slippery. Our milk for the coffee station in the room also did not get topped up. Generally, the staff were happy to great you. The gentleman who showed us to the baggage room requested I leave a review there and then despite telling him I would at the airport; he proceeded to then take my phone and select five star for all options and submit. I am now editing with my comments and reflections. The location is approx 30 mins from the airport but is not accessible to many bars etc by foot so if you are looking for fun beyond the gates of the village check out google maps first but the bars and restaurants on site were suitable for us.

It was honestly a lovely space to stay for a first time in Greece, all the staff was lovely and the facilities too! Only thing I could say for improvement would be that; we went to Greece, we wanted Greek food not Mexican, Italian & Asian nights. We wanted Gyros and Souvlaki. Other than that it was perfect. The multiple pools and activities to do there made it time well spent. It was also right on the beach 😊Thankyou for the time we had there!

Our stay at Mitsis Cretan Village Beach Hotel was exceptional, thanks to the professionalism of Eva (rooms division manager) and Anna (front office manager) From check-in to departure, she ensured everything ran smoothly… rooms were well-prepared, had a beautiful view, communication was clear, and even airport transfers were efficiently arranged. Their attention to detail and hands-on approach made a real difference to our overall experience. What stood out most was Anna’s proactive approach - everything was handled efficiently and with genuine professionalism. She was always approachable, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to make us felt valued. The overall staff (esp Maitre and George) at the à la carte restaurants also deserve special mention for being very warm, welcoming, humble and attentive to our food requests - making each dining experience enjoyable and stress-free. Service and staff at the bar was consistently attentive, well-organized, and very soft spoken, making each evening memorable. Highly recommended.
