Dear Star Beach Village Team, We stayed at your hotel for one week last week, and we were extremely satisfied with the food, the services, and especially the kindness and helpfulness of your staff. The beach is wonderful, and it was a fantastic experience to spend a week here with our child, who also enjoyed the holiday very much. We particularly appreciated the family-friendly design of the hotel. We would like to highlight the playground next to the main restaurant, which allows parents to enjoy their meals in peace while their children play safely nearby and remain within sight at all times. This is an excellent hotel for families with young children, and we can highly recommend it to others. Thank you for providing such a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful time here, the food was the best I've had in a long time. We mainly dined at the Cretian restaurant much quieter for us a couple. We did enjoy 2 great evenings over at the Asian restaurant too. The entertainment was brilliant and the drinks were top notch. The Aquapark and the many swimming pools were fabulous. My only criticism was that our room was over the road at the Star Beach city! Every day you had to cross that very busy road no zebra crossing or anything. It's an accident waiting to happen! On our last day the pool bar opened over at Star Beach City and what a nice little spot that's going to be. We only saw breakfast but they had everything you could need. We spotted the help yourself beer tap! Maybe next time!

This is a great family hotel. 3 different waterslide parks kept our 4 year old entertained! The food was great all week. It has access to several sandy beaches. The staff were great and the rooms were nice too. Only 20 minutes from Heraklion Airport and there are shops within walking distance. It isn't top luxury but for a great family holiday it was lovely. Our only downside was our room was overlooking the evening entertainment so was a bit loud but it finished around 10pm each night

Couldn’t say anything bad about our trip. We booked through Aurinkomatkat and the whole trip went smoothly. We stayed a week as a family of four (both kids under 10) and the only real negative thing we could say is that we wished the pools would’ve been heated - at least one of them. From check in to check out we never experienced anything but positive fun and amazing help when needed. Every night there was a disco for the kids and different activities throughout the day. Monday was Greek night and they had an amazing “show” with traditional dances, music and food. We do recommend renting a car from across the street from Tom at Carera. He was super helpful and costs were great. I don’t think we would give it such great reviews had we gone in the summer as I can’t imagine how incredibly loud and crazy the resort would be with summer vacation. Mid-April was probably not the best for weather but it was quiet and not crowded. We would recommend this resort in a heartbeat.

Anthi and Teo at Café Gelateria were absolute highlights of our stay! From the very first day, they made our poolside experience so much more fun and enjoyable. They are both incredibly sweet, outgoing, and have a fantastic sense of humor that immediately put everyone in a good mood. They always had a smile on their faces and took the time to chat with us and entertain our children. Our kids absolutely adored them! Anthi and Teo were so patient and playful, turning simple gelato orders into fun little moments that the children still talk about. They really went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and happy. If you’re staying at the hotel, make sure to visit the pool bar – Anthi and Teo will definitely make your vacation even better.
