Close to two train stations—both within an easy 700-metre walk. The rooms are cozy and pleasant. Some areas, like the doors and bathroom walls, are a little worn, but nothing that affects comfort. The overall atmosphere feels comfortable yet slightly high-class, especially with the hotel’s dress code (no shorts or slippers in common areas like the breakfast restaurant). Breakfast has plenty of halal options, and the current chef is wonderfully friendly—he personally pointed out the available halal dishes, which we really appreciated. The variety was impressive. The only suggestion is to make the halal markings more noticeable; the labels were quite small, and at first we thought halal options were limited to the South Asian dishes. A larger halal mark would be very helpful.

Rooms are getting older, dimmer and house keeping not really keeping up with the cleaning anymore (our hair in the shower area were still all there on the shower floor, drainage). Hope the rooms get a much needed upgrade and glow up. They deserve a renovation. Service is still good, more English-speaking service team. Smiling was not part of the training anymore, I guess especially from chatuchak cafe team. Same mezzanine connection to Central mall. Still a beautiful hotel, overall. I have been visiting for 20+ years, and my go-to would still always be Centara Ladprao.

We arrived after two days of flight connections from USA and This hotel staff were courteous and tried to give us a room faster than the check in time. They also suggested we spend some time in the connecting mall which we did. Staff : Excellent Rooms: Clean and spacious Bathrooms: clean and stocked Beds and Pillows: clean and smelling fresh Breakfast: Amazing Dinner at the Chatuchak Restaurant- amazing 5* Stayed 3 nights. If you are planning a trip to Bangkok this is the place to stay! The staff is professional and very accommodating. The friendly staff is always ready to assist. The hotel restaurant serves a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is conveniently located, the entrance to the mall is next to hotel providing a food court (delish food) money exchange and anything else you might need. The regular rooms are excellent with king size beds if needed. Different levels of accommodations. The SPA and the pool are excellent. We stayed at this hotel from November 8 - 11, 2025 and then returned on our last day on 11/24. Their Blue Sky Bar located on the 16th. floor provides a stunning view of the city and has a nice ambiance either for drinks and/or dinner. I would like to commend the staff of the hotel from housekeepers, restaurant staff, the front desk , Concierge and the bell hop for making our stay in Bangkok a memorable one.

I had a wonderful stay at the Centara Grand Hotel in Bangkok. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the facilities were impressive, and the rooms were spacious, and spotlessly clean. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is about a 20–30 minute taxi ride from popular areas like Sukhumvit and Siam, depending on traffic. However, the Ha Yaek Lat Phrao BTS station is just a short 5‑minute walk away, making it easy and convenient to reach those parts of the city. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would happily recommend Centara Grand to anyone visiting Bangkok.
